A sentinel rushed into Konyo's office, panting as he was clearly out of breath, and judging from the sign of blood stains on his chestplate and gauntlets it was clear he had just returned from a battle.
"Guild Master! Rush Valley is being overrun by cultists!"
The man took a few deep breaths to try to calm his nerves as he continued his explanation. "They appeared out of nowhere, neither their objective or total numbers are clear. Miss Esperia is currently in the midst of leading the evacuation of the citizen but currently keeping her dimensional gateway open and fending off the cultists is keeping her too occupied to be able to stop whatever scheme the cultists are planning!"
----
Meanwhile on the outskirts of Rush Valley a large dimensional pathway had been formed, people were being carefully led inside the path with the help of several armed guards while further into the town a vanguard of sentinels were clearly struggling to keep the first and last line of defense from faltering. Cloaked cultists were fighting like rabid beasts, and yet for each one a sentinel slashed down, multiple others seemed to emerge from deeper in the town.
Meanwhile, in front of the vanguard the giant frog summon Jiraiya was clearly occupied with a swarm of cultists, his blade flinging them down by the numbers. Whatever their purpose had been, for them to mobilize in such numbers made it clear that Nacht's servants had an important reason for coming here!
Meanwhile somewhere within the Sieghart mountains...
The sound of diabolic chanting filled the air as several hooded figures were channeling some sort of ritual, its origin foreign, but one thing was certain, for the scaled humanoid that was chained onto the ground it was clearly not with their best interests in mind.
"Your resistance is futile Berculio, soon you shall serve Nacht, just like your father did."
A hooded figure, seemingly the cultists their leader spoke, yet the dragonoid glared defiantly up at his captor. "You'll never free that monster! GAH-"
The man let out a pained grunt, some of his scales turning from a magnificent azure color into an eerie obsidian tint."
