RingAfter the run-in with the weird creature the other day and the little girl, everything had slowly calmed down. Ryu checked out the little girl to make sure she was okay. Thankfully, other than a few scraps and bruises, she was alright. Only some few and rest was all she needed. The little girl had no name only a nickname going by "Squid" or something like that. She was alone, only recently a few hunters picked her up to give her a ride to the next town over. She said they were going to feed her and everything, but the creature struck the camp. Lee was surprised by how open she was about her trauma with her and Ryu. She didn't perceive either one of them as a threat or even the slightest bit of suspicion. She was more friendly than scared.
Right now, she lied on Lee's lap having her hair stroked. She was sound asleep. Ryu leaned against the wall, still puzzled on what to do with her. "We can't just leave her. She's too young for me to take with me to Worth Woodsea. Could you take her back to Hargeon to Grandma? You're the only one I can trust right now...until we can find her parents. We will take care of her" she spoke. Ryu couldn't argue with that logic. if there was one thing he would agree with is to keep the kid safe. Even when he had a boy of his own, around her age too. Somehow, the kitsune felt responsible for the small child. They knew the girl was a demi-human seeing as her teeth were sharp and felt out a few times like a shark. She, also, had gills like a fish. Ryu was examining her and noticed some of her skin was patchy with small tiny scales the color of her skin if not a little darker down her back. He told Lee it was nothing to worry about.
"I can take care of her until you return to Hosenka or til' we get the word" he offered. She narrowed her eyes suspiciously. Her cousin was serious, he would never harm a child since he had one of his own. There was a knock a the door as the knob turned to her cousin, Tadashi. He had his usual headphones around his neck and blinked as he adjusted his glasses. "Lee...are you ready? He spoke. Lee nodded and looked at the her brother. "Ryu, thank you so much...seriously. We will decide what to do wit the little girl..." she spoke.
