Kannon
The marketplace was abuzz with activity from merchants selling their wares to noisy crowds. It was not unlike Baska in its liveliness, but it was seemingly even more crowded. The vendors were congested, which made buying anything nigh impossible. He decided to wait till it thinned out and would just return when it was less crowded. Kannon would have gone to his hotel room until he ran across two figures. Both seemed to be arguing about something, although, Kannon couldn’t tell what. Things got a bit stranger when one of the men turned to face Kannon and signaled him over. Compelled by curiosity he followed the stranger a short distance away. Having heard of Kannon’s exploits the mystery man explained a problem he needed the summoner to solve. After revealing his name as Ferdinand, he then explained his dilemma to the inquisitive Kannon. The merchant was about to receive a package that he wanted at all costs. Knowing how lucrative such a proposal was and what it could mean he agreed.   Not wanting to continue speaking in public Ferdinand took the youth to a local pub to discuss business. Tomorrow Kannon would intercept the merchant’s package at the local gates. Until then Kannon would return to his hotel and wait for further instructions.

Kannon
Kannon awoke with the sun anticipating the start of a new day. The wizard was to take part in a new kind of mission today instead of the usual smash and grab type. He didn’t need to shed any blood much to his demonic half’s dismay. Instead he was to simply “recover” a parcel for his new employer. All he had to do was speak a few lies into existence and he’d be finished. Like all of his jobs this wouldn’t take too long because he was just that good. He was a confident man, and that whatever job he took he’d succeed at it. A proud man he shared none of the nervousness that afflicted his contemporaries. He would just do as requested of him and be done with it. Whatever this task entailed he was more than ready to confront it head on and did so with gusto. He sometimes wondered about Cain and if it were possible to study under him. Part of him found a strange kinship in the man largely because they both possessed a gift for necromancy. Perhaps the old mage might one day impart some knowledge to him, he hoped anyway. But first Kannon opted to start the day with a balanced breakfast. For the time being he’d been staying at a local inn, which provided all the meals he needed. The food was rather basic, especially the breakfast, which consisted of eggs, toast, and bacon. It wasn’t a terrible meal, but it wasn’t great either. It was just enough to leave him full for the day.

Kannon
An animal of habit and tradition Kannon began his daily routine with a shower, as soon as he finished eating. After breakfast and a shower Kannon wasted zero time in leaving for his mission. He was nothing if not punctual. Even as he crossed paved roads and darted through dark alleys the wizard walked with purpose. Certain this job would begin and end like all of them did with him getting a little bit richer. Even though he’d only been in the city for a few days he knew the way to his destination well enough. Of course, it wasn’t hard navigating when you had a map and a good sense of direction. When he’d arrived at the gate, he was greeted with a gaggle of rune knights. They were all fairly tough, but Kannon didn’t need to combat them. The only thing he needed was the parcel the old merchant was expecting to get his hands on. Luckily for him the guards paid him no mind as he awaited the package’s arrival. When it finally arrived Kannon yawned from boredom. When the ccaravan edged to the gate Kannon stepped forward pretending to be the package’s owner. His performance left much to be desired, but he ultimately succeeded and headed back to give Ferdinand his reward.
