“You really should get your warriors of god to do these kinds of things, but I suppose the inquisition already has its hands full.” The woman folded the letter before pocketing it. “Is Bishop Santos sure he wants these two dealt this way?”
“Hmm. Well, a proper trial and burning would have been preferable, yes. However…” The priest stroked his bearded chin in thought. “Resources are running low, as is time. It’s more important that these problems be taken care of as quickly as possible.”
“Time?” Nadine echoed the word inquisitively, curious what the man had meant. The priest only glared at her though, so she glared back before continuing on. “These problems, or rather, these people, will be taken care of. I’ll be back at the church before morning, like last time.”
