The pair of spies, the monk and Guard Captain, successfully infiltrated the strange cult which seemed to worship something chaotic based on the passphrase "may chaos reign." The already disguised monk and guard put on a provided cultist outfit and were lead to the main room where many cultists were chatting about various, sometimes mundane things. The main topic seemed to be chaos and what constituted as chaos - this cult was definitely obsessed with chaos, hopefully in a peaceful sense. Starting a war is extremely chaotic whereas rolling dice for a board game is far more peaceful while still being a little chaotic - unfortunately, the cult meeting started with a clear indication the type of chaos the cult preferred.
"Brothers and sisters! As you can see before you on this pedestal - I have acquired a special book," spoke one of the many, similarly dressed cultists. Her feminine voice was traced to a cultist walking through the crowd and into the newly formed circle of cultists, pointing to a pedestal with a tattered looking book. She continued speaking, "As some of you may know, we have been trying to acquire this book for a few years now - meanwhile we have gained many new followers who's faces are just as blurred as the rest of us."
The woman pointed out her own veil covering her head and then pointed back at the book, "with this book in our possession, we can begin the process of summoning The Tower!" Upon mention of "The Tower" the room of cultists seemed to nod and grunt in agreement - they seemed excited by the prospect of summoning something, but Poropo and Devon did not know the scope to this summon. The woman finally said, "with The Tower summoned, matter will begin crumbling into chaos and be forever changed - starting with Magnolia, then Fiore, and finally THE WORLD!" The cultists nodded and grunted more loudly - Devon and Poropo felt they knew what they needed and slipped out of the crowd.
"Thanks for the help, monk - I'll need you again real soon and I'm sure you know why." Devon gave Poropo his hefty reward and they parted ways, for now.
