After Kaito's rather hard landing through the trees, after his fall from the cliff his right arm is screaming in pain, he gets up and feels a little worse for wear and he pops his right arm back into its socket then uses the rope that is in the inner pocket of his cloak to make a sling for his arm. He has no idea where he is or how he is gonna get back. He decides he has to get stronger to survive and to that with his weapon arm is in a very limited to be used condition. He was gonna have to relay on his magic so it was time to craft some more spells to help him survive this twist of fate because he played hero.

He figures he needs to make the spells in this order, a sensory spell that uses his wind magic, a single target spell that uses his wind magic, an AoE that uses his frost magic, and a Buffing magic in case he needs to use his weapon arm for a limited amount of time.

Kaito begins his training for his first spell by closing his eyes and tries to focus his wind magic to use it to sense around him but he doesn't see or feel anything, he figures he should use his third eye he puts two fingers to his forehead then runs them down his nose and a shaky white magic seal appears in front of his forehead.

He can sense fuzzy images of some of the small animals that are in the near area but beyond that he senses nothing beyond a very short range. so he stops and he takes a deep breath come on, you got this. He does the motion again two fingers to the forehead and the white magic seal appears again and he can sense movement a little further away then before.

He focuses harder on it and the sense line grows slightly more he is starting to feel a strain on his mind and senses so he has to stop again. His nose is bleeding a little and he thinks to himself. "Okay I force focused too hard." He wipes his nose then sits down and meditates for a second then tries again touching two fingers to his forehead then runs his fingers back down his nose the white magic seal appearing more solid then before, he works on finer tuning the sense so there isn't so much static in it.

He is starting to be able to get better sense of general areas around him and where the small animals are moving around to but loses them when they stop and struggles to locate them again as the start moving again, he feels like he is starting to get the hang of it if just a little, but he still feels like he is forcing it too much that it should feel more loose and light like a cloud but he keeps making it heavy and dragging like a heavy boulder.

He stops and opens his eyes feeling a little perplexed on how to master this spell so it isn't such a strain on him. The wind sweeps across him and rattles his cloak and his eyes get wide, he has an idea, he is trying to force it to stay out at max at all times, when he should be having it more like a sweeping breeze that floats out from his body not solely focused on his forehead where the seal is at.

He breaths in then out and closes his eyes and spins so he will not be sure which way he is facing and he touches his two fingers to his forehead then slides them down the slightly bent bridge of his nose. He this time lets it flow through him and sweep out instead and he can sense the critters from before and now every little thing they do he can sense, as if it is a growing second nature to him, but now he needs to learn to use it so danger and for helping him find targets.

Kai uses some of the left over rope he has to rig up some make shift targets one handed. Then goes back to a point he has marked for him to stand and test if he can sense then hit the target once the wind blew to move it, he is excited thinking he might truly be mastering a new spell that he can use to grow.

He places his two fingers to his forehead running them down his nose again the white magic seal taking his spot on his forehead once again he can feel the wind picking up and he can sense the target move in the wind then he snaps his finger and wind magic seal appears in front of him and he slashes his finger through it firing a projectile at the target just barely missing as the wind moved it.

"okay Kai time it calm down and try again." He thinks to himself. He senses the target move again and he fires another projectile this time leaning more on his sense then his mind for where to fire to make use of this sense not only out of combat but also in combat if it is needed. He walks to the target walking with his sense then he senses something big just on the edge of the sense range he figures that is enough training for the day.

He has learned one of his spells but there are still three more to go, before he will try to leave this forest.

Kai awakens the next day and starts planning what he wants this spell to be he figures he wants it to be more hit area then his back draft spell. He closes his eyes and he envisions an arrow flying threw through the air and he thinks he he has a concept, just now to make it come to life.

He starts working on what motion he wants to make it be, at first he tries it like he is pulling a bow back then releasing it but it feels like it is too much wasted movement for it to be useful, to him in a mid range fight if he has to use it. He feels it needs to be a sharper movement, he trusts his hand forward. "no no no." He closes his eyes again and he sees the arrow head and he has an idea in that moment.

He raises his hand and makes two sharp swipes of his hand in an x shape, he thinks he likes this movement now to get the spell training underway, he breathes in and makes the motion and the white magic circle appears and he watches as the x shaped projectile comes out then nearly instantly dissipates. He tries again and the seal appears this time it comes out misshapen and makes a hard left before dissipating.

"come on focus." He says in his mind, his arm throbs but he knows he doesn't have time to rest. He makes the two swipes again this time when the white circle appears it makes a hard right turn before dissipating, he realizes it is because in his motion he made one of the slashes to large so it make the projectile lopsided so it made a hard turn both times.

He works on his hand motion to try and keep both slashes at an even size before he tests it again. When he thinks he has got the hand motion down, he does the hand motion again and he sees the white circle appear and a perfect x shaped projectile releases from it but only goes a short distance then dissipates again. "okay one part mastered now to get it to go more then five feet" he says to himself.

He focus's wind magic again then makes the x shapes slashes again, the white magic seal shining brighter this time releasing the x projectile it goes further then before, but still falls a fair distance short of where he wants it to be able to reach. He aims at the swinging target to see if it will do damage or if it is just blunt.

Kai focus's his wind magic again making the slashing motion, the white magic seal appears and releases out the x shaped projectile at the target and it hits with a thud, Kai checks if it hit bluntly or if it did damage, Kai sighs as it hit bluntly meaning he has more work to do on two parts, damage and distance. He walks back and he takes aim at the target again. "shaper" he thinks to himself as he focus's his wind magic again.

He makes two quick slashes with his hand making the X as fine and sharp as he thinks he can. The white magic seal appears releasing the x shaped projectile this time when it hits it leaves an x shaped mark where it hit Kai excitedly jumps up with his arms up excited then the pain in his right arm strikes again and he sighs. He walks back a little bit more to test it for more range now.

"ride the wind" He thinks to himself, then quickly makes the hand motion , the white circle appearing like it is second nature now releasing another perfectly shaped x that goes soaring at the target but just barely hits it before dissipating. "So close." He thinks to himself then he does it again as his master thought him mastery is doing it over and over adjusting power as needed. The X shaped projectile hits the target more firmly this time.

Now he knows he has to test it against live prey now cause one he was starting to get hungry and two he is gonna be use it vs live moving targets. He uses his sensory skill and finds a midsized target to hunt then he aims his pointed hand looking down his arm with one eye closed to try and make it line up and when the target moves into range he makes the two sharp slashes with his hand then white magic seal appearing and releasing the x shaped projectile which flies true and hits its target and kai hurries to it before a bigger prey closes in on the smell.

"Two spells done two to go." He thinks to himself.

Kai starts his next day well rested and fed. Time to work on my AoE frost spell, he draws drawing out ideas on the ground with a stick for what he wants to make, basing it off of a large animals mouth he wants it to have fang like frost magic spikes that turn in toward the center. He now moves to his motions for summoning it, he puts his fist out opening it into was looks like a jagged clawed hand, then thinks "no needs more elegance as his frost magic seems to come out looking vein.

He looks at his hand and makes motions, till he thinks he finds the one that seems to fit the cool yet elegant move meant he needs. He puts his hand out flat palm up then a cyan magic seal appears before him then one at a near by location but the seal is small and looks shaky at best but he raises two of his fingers on his hand and small dull looking blunt frost spikes come up. He feels sorta embarrassed by that failing so bad.

He closes his eyes, thinking to himself. "envision it." He sees a mighty strong cyan seal and fully threatening and sharp Shiny frost fangs coming bursting out to tear up anyone that might cross him. Kai sorta feels fear of himself from thinking about hurting people like that. He shakes it off then tries the hand motion again at the cyan magic seals appear strong then before and the targeted location has blunt straight spikes but this time they are more shiny then they are dull looking. "Progress" He thinks to himself.

He moves closer to a river figuring using frost near it will make refining it a little easier cause it is easier to frost in water cause it is colder, then iron the on land detail after he can get the spell to take its rightful scary form. He does the hand motion the cyan magic circle greeting him again then the target location upon rising his two fingers, the more pointed and slightly more curved shining fangs break the waters surface. "So close" He thinks to himself.

He knows he has the basics of the spell down but he still needs to get it to fully flesh out so it can be used in a pinch to handle a group of attackers or targets. He places his hand out palm up flat getting the cyan magic seal to appear again for himself, then the targeted area, He takes a deep breath then rises two fingers and the spikes come breaking the water in a perfect circle of sharp curved fangs pointing toward the center of the circle.

"Good but now the harder part." he thinks to himself then starts walking away from the river too deep in thought to realize he had been spotted by a group of animals. He heads back to his camp and lowers the target then focus's his frost magic feeling its cool embrace. He places his hand out flat palm up, the cyan circle appearing again under him then the targeted location he raises the two fingers and the shiny fang shaped spikes come bursting out of the magic seal but they miss the target.

He sighs and looks at it seeing where it missed the fangs cause they are still not curving enough to do damage. He walks back and envisions them a little more curved so they will pierce the target. He does the hand motion of hand out flat palm up and the raising of two fingers this time he hits and pierces the target pretty well but he thinks it can still be better but without a group of targets to test it on he can't be sure.

The animals start to surround him and Kai's danger sense goes off and he sees them and thinks to himself "what great timing." He backs up toward a cave so they will have to be in front of him and not behind him, "no better test then a live one as my master would say." he thinks to himself and he hopes this doesn't fail cause he feels his mana is low so he will only have another two tries at this at best.

The animals close in on him and he does the hand motion hand flat palm up and the cyan magic seal appears and he raises to fingers as the one at the animals location the spikes come bursting out and hit their targets the animals appear they are injured but one that tailed behind gets a good bit on Kai's leg and Kai slams it against the wall by its neck and it dies.

Kai tears his cloaks sleeve off then gets to the river cleaning it out then he ties the cloak sleeve over the wound. "three down one to go." He weakly thinks to himself.

Kai starts this day sluggish, there is also cloud coverage blocking the sun and he knows he needs to learn this last spell on the move cause he is in bad shape and he has to hope he can find his way back to town before he gets eaten by something out here. He thinks how he wants the buffing spell to work but knows he needs it to buff his endurance so he can keep a decent pace and protect himself. He starts walking in a way he hopes leads him toward safety following the river, he starts envisioning himself cloaked in a nice cool frost layer to help reduce the the swelling and pain of his injuries and he tries to think what the motion should be for this one and he first touches his chest like he is activating a embedded crystal but his ribs scream in pain when he does that, then decides against it as he limps then he rubs his hurt right arm then realizes this is the motion he wants to use for his buffing spell.

He removes his hurt arm from the rope sling he was using and then runs his left hand hand down his right arm to see if it feels like a natural movement, he feels it does then he focus's his frost magic then does the motion and a cyan magic seal sweeps over him and he shivers it is far too cold for him to sustain, it was making him lock up and not buffing him. He is leaving a blood trail behind him as he limps through the heavily wooded area. He tries again thinking to just aim for buffing his hurt leg running his left hand down his right arm, the cyan circle sweeps across his leg covering his leg in a layer of frost, he feels a little less un sturdy and can keep steady a little better now, but he knows this is still too weak for the level of endurance buff he was gonna need going forward.

He stops and leans against a tree and catches his breath then tries again feeling he is close to a break through or his death. He runs his left hand down his right arm and the cyan magic seal sweeps back over his right side again making them seem to be moved a little bit easier with less pain, he walks a little more before having to stop to rest again stopping the buffing spell. He does it again running his left hand down his right arm aiming to do the full body but this time it is to strong and he gets stiff and falls over and he shifts himself so he lands on his good side so not to hurt his bad arm more, he slowly gets back to his feet and starts walking again.

"I will get this last spell mastered if it kills me." He thinks to himself his vision gets a little blurry. He runs his left hand down his right arm again and the cyan magic cycle sweeps across him, he feels that he is lighter and his body reinforced feeling he might have got the power prefect this time, he moves his bad right arm a little knowing it isn't healed but he knows this makes it a little less likely he is gonna break it if he takes a bad bump from something out here. It feels like the frost magic is fluctuating and is not staying stable across his body, he keeps trying to focus it hoping to stabilize it but he can't get a handle on it so he because he is starting to feel light headed, he stops the spell leaning against a tree and takes a second to rest and recover a little before trying it again.

He feels stomping of a big animal drawing closer to himself he gets up and runs his left hand along his right arm and the cyan colored magic circle sweeps across him and he uses this reinforcement to his body to try and run from this creature hoping it will hold out long enough, his leg is starting to feel like it is not gonna make it much farther but the magic is staying stable, so he hurries to a side path thinking he can see the city not far away through the trees, but then he sees a large creature.

Kai sneaks while using his endurance spell to try and stay on his feet then once he is past it, he hurries into the town collapsing in the street. "Four down none to go." he thinks to himself as he passes out.
