Kai walks up to mag drug magic shop with the request in hand wondering what will be the problem this time. He walks in and sees a weapon wrapped in cloth on the store counter and wonders if this man is about to have him touch a cursed item. The man looks at him and a smile cracks across his face Kai feels a little uneasy about that.

The man tells him he needs him to test out a magic weapon to prove if it is worth his Jewels or if it is just another defective item that he got and needs to refund again he doesn't tell Kai what it even does. He hands it to Kai trusting he will not just steal it and run away even though he is always in a mask and cloak. Kai takes the sword looking it over and then heads out into the city and he looks for someone that would be willing to help him test it out.

Kai walks up to a rough group of men and they look at him. He requests them to fight him with this weapon and they told him to go fly a kite, or die which ever will get him away from them. Kai sighs then walks off toward some adventurers sizing them up as probably the perfect people to be tested on.

They laugh at him saying they don't have time for testing weapons unless they are being paid for their time handsomely, Kai bows saying sorry that is not gonna happen then he walks off to go and see if he can find someone that he can test this blasted sword on. He walks up to a woman fully armored who looks like she would take on all comers but she rejects him as she has a boyfriend and will not hear another word from him and he just sighs and walks off deciding maybe this sword is cursed to never be able to find a fight if you are holding it, cause usually everyone wants to pick a fight with him cause he is big and masked.

He runs into some guild mates that like to trash talk him he figures they would fight him and he walks up to them and they just run away from him and he tries to follow them and ends up ruining a surprise party for his recovery. He nearly throws the sword in a trash can but says he just has to do this he has to get this finished fast before he runs out of sanity to even return to the shop with this rotten sword.

He walks up to the biggest guy he can see who tells him he has no interest in fighting he is a pacifist and that he is just trying to enjoy his sandwich and the outside, he sips his tea then looking at a timid man on the inside of the tea shop that he thinks look familiar to him but he knows he doesn't have time to stand around and play figure out where you know him from.

Kai has pretty much given up on finding some one to fight with this what he now firmly believes cursed sword he sits on the side of a fountain and then a young man looks at him. ”Hey I saw you were looking for a person to fight you with that sword would you be willing to fight me ?” Kai looks up at this young man like an angel just dropped from heaven lifted him like a new born baby. Kai stands and looks the kid over. ”You sure kid this sword might be strong.”

The young man nods not really worrying about losing he just wants to leave an impression with fighting this masked monster of a man. Kai draws the sword and the young man does the same and that start trading blows and Kai is impressed by this young mans skill with a sword, but he is pretty sure this word is not worth more then the common sword the young man is using to fight him with. Kai goes in harder on the young man cause he wants to test if he is really skilled or if Kai is just rusty from being in bed rest after his trip that went wrong.

The young man seems to have no trouble with keeping Kai on his toes but it is clear to Kai the boy was trained well but he doesn't yet have a fighters stamina, Kai steps back as the young man takes a bold strong swing toward Kai the swing spins the kid off balance a little and Kai uses this opening to make a bold attack of his own, but the young man as if reading Kais game plan side steps him and Kai is now the one on the back foot having to block and protect against the young mans attacks.

The young man looks a bit winded and Kai also feels a bit winded his body not use to so much action since his time training in Stella. Kai ends up getting the edge and the young mans stamina runs out falling on his rear in exhaustion. Kai sits down next to him. ”Thanks for the fight and showing me this sword is not special in anyways you nearly had me there.” The young man rubs the back of his head and laughs being a very good sport even though he just lost the match to Kai.

Kai stands and helps the young man to his feet then he starts to the shop to turn in his report to the shop owner, as he walks in the shop owner seems to be able to read it on his face that the sword is junk and not a rare magic weapon. ”Yeah the sword is not worth your jewels but I did find a future sparring partner so not all is lost.” The shop owner has no idea what to say to that so he just sighs and pays Kai who goes to that party he ruined earlier for himself.
