Achlys †
Baska, it wasn’t that long since Achlys last visit to this town. It was during the annual flea market and some tournament held at the great rock of Baska. But now here she is, getting back to this town to simply answer to the request from one of her previous clients, Cain the necromancer. After Achlys first success, it seems like she has impressed Cain’s associate, that is why now he wants you to do something else for him. He wants you to observe the results of an experiment of his and now she’s here to meet with Cain’s man and hear more details about the quest. Achlys doesn’t plan to stay long in Baska this time, so she’s not looking for an inn. So instead of the usual meet up in front of the inn, this time they set up a meeting at a small alley in town, still wanting to avoid attention from people passing by.

When Achlys is on her way to the meeting point, she sees the people she saw on her last trip. The people who are shouting on the street are complaining about the tournament and how that violence event should be stopped because it takes too many victims already. Those people remind her of the woman she helped during her last trip to Baska by defeating the current tournament champion during that time. That was a pretty random and unexpected quest that Achlys ever took. It's just weird and surprising how some local people are against the local tradition that has become an attraction from not just tourists and travelers but also fighters from all around the world, and they even try and want that tradition to be stopped. But that's just in the past, even though Achlys will never know that one day she might cross the road and end up helping another one of those people, or maybe someone else.

As Achlys keeps walking to the meeting point, she gets closer to the turn towards the alley. She sees Cain’s man that usually brings his words to Achlys from the other side make his turns entering the alley to the meeting point. Seeing that man is already there, Achlys starts moving a little bit faster only so she can catch up with him. Once she makes the turn, that man is already there standing waiting for her facing her way. Achlys gets directly to the point of their meeting and asks him to tell her the details about this new quest from Cain, and of course what she will get from doing this quest for him. This guy also likes to be straightforward and starts telling her information about the quest, from one information to another, this guy keeps telling more and more information about the quest details from his boss Cain.

“There is a proud and arrogant adventurer, who despite his mediocre skill in the art of swordsmanship, has been able to gain a name for himself thanks to his wealth, which allowed him to purchase a set of legendary equipment and three Elven slaves skilled in magic. His name is Vezio. His power is mostly derived from his gear and the support spells cast on him by his elven slaves. Once they are out of the picture, the man is only as strong as a wet paper towel, nothing more. The elves on the other side are enduring their master's torture as they are soft-spoken and are very afraid that they will be killed or torture by him if they don't obey all of his commands. They are physically very weak, but blessed by mana and can cast powerful buffs and healing spells. So that guy named Vezio is basically nothing without all of that.”

“Your job is very simple. Master Cain wants you to accompany Vezio and his Elven Slaves in their adventure into the tomb where they will encounter a giant hamster with a giant snake as its tail. That hamster named Hamsuke, A genetically modified hamster that is too big for its kind. Hamsuke is very strong and intelligent, it is near impossible to sneak up on it as the tail snake is very very sensitive to any movement in its surroundings. You will have to let them fight that monster named Hamsuke for a while, and after letting them fight for a bit, your task will be to convince the Elves to betray their master. An easy enough task to accomplish since those Elves doesn’t want to be his slave forever. But Vezio might try to fight you and the Elves so maybe it’s better if you let Hamsuke attack him pretty bad before convincing the Elves or just fight alongside Hamsuke to beat Vezio.”

“Your reward will be given after you make your report of the monster’s combat to the maid you met before. That maid will show up after the battle and will give you your rewards afterwards. You will receive more than the last time, thanks to your good performance, master Cain seems to like and trust you with a bigger and better quest. That’s all I can tell you about the quest, this is the information on where you will meet them and I’ll go now.” Says the guy after all the long words he said. He gives Achlys a piece of paper with the location of the tomb and the time when she needs to be there and meet up with this guy named Vezio and his Elven Slaves. After giving Achlys that piece of paper, he really is gone in a blink of an eye with nothing left as a trace.

Achlys check the piece of paper given by Cain’s man to check the location of the tomb mentioned before, that tomb is where she supposed to meet with Vezio and his Elven Slaves. After she checks that paper, she starts walking toward that tomb. When she arrives there she doesn't see anyone there, not Vezio, not the Elves as well. As expected from a spoiled kid who likes to do whatever he wants to get whatever he wants, he probably feels like he can come whenever he wants to. Seeing the situation, Achlys decided to leave the tomb and come back later when she felt like she wanted to and let the spoiled man wait. So Achlys walks away from the tomb back towards the town heading to the market. At the market, she literally takes her time and enjoys it the way she wants to. She visits one tea shop that is full of people and looks like this place is really famous.

In that tea shop, she asks for a private room so she can stay away from the crowd since she hates too many people around her. She really took her time and enjoyed the tea before she got back to the tomb to see Vezio and his Elves are finally there, looking like they are waiting for Achlys just as she wanted. When she walked closer to the tomb, Vezio got angry at her for letting him wait for so long. Ignoring his rage, Achlys only gives him a sharp look from the edge of her eyes and walks into the tomb without even saying anything. They then start following Achlys into the tomb. Inside the tomb, they were waited on by Hamsuke. All the information given by Cain’s man was right, Hamsuke is really big, too big for it’s kind and the snake tail is another thing to talk about.

Right when they can see Hamsuke, Achlys stumb one of her feet to the ground. Two magic seals appear under her feet and a purple shadow starts showing up, covering her feet in a blurry shape of armor shoes. She then starts walking towards the tomb’s wall and walks up that wall climbing to the top of something that looks like a temple and stands there in silence. “Show me what you got spoiled boy” Says Achlys to Vezio. Hearing what Achlys said, Vezio get angry and shout at his Elven Slaves. “BUFF ME RIGHT NOW YOU USELESS ELVES!!! I WILL SHOW THAT COCKY GIRL WHAT I CAN DO!!!” Being scared by Vezio, those elves start casting their spell and buffing Vezio with several other-buff spells. He then starts charging towards Hamsuke trying to hit it with all he got, but since Hamsuke snake tail is super sensitive, Hamsuke can kinda predict his move and attack before he even gets close enough causing him to knock back and drop his sword.

Right the moment Vezio charge towards Hamsuke, Achlys walks down from the temple and walk closer to the elves, turns out during that moment Achlys talked to the elves and convince them to attack on Vezio and let Hamsuke kill him so all the elves can be free from slavery. Agreeing with Achlys, those elves start casting some other buff spells to Achlys to help her fight against Vezio. When Vezio gets attacked by Hamsuke and drops his sword, it falls right in front of Achlys, then she picks it up and uses it to attack Vezio in an instant. A few slashes towards him make him push back towards Hamsuke position and when he notices that he is too close to Hamsuke, it’s already too late. Hamsuke then steps right on him, killing him right there in an instant. The elves are running back towards the room entrance and run away while the maid of Cain showed up out of nowhere between Achlys and Hamsuke and with her presence, Hamsuke starts walking the other way. Achlys gives her the report and claims the rewards promised by Cain and leaves that tomb.
