The Martello family did not play when it came to getting shit done. In fact, since Khalfani's last quest for them more folks have been talking. It probably was stupid for him to actually get this involved but the Martello family business paid well. ˇToo well, if you asked the Vampire. Plus, there was a certain type of feeling that came with this specific type of work. There was politics involved but not of any noble or royal given status by any singular government. This was underground politics and it was alluring. In the dead of the night, Khalfani stood in front of the Martello family building, gazing upon the city from a distance. It was beautiful, Oak city. Lights danced around the buildings and from here everyone looked like a colony of ants. The job today was a simple task. It required no blood-shed or anything of that nature. Just plain old locate and return mission. The vampire exhaled as the frosty smoke parted their lips. The map had the directions so all he had to do was follow.

Before moving, they took the time to analyze it one more time. The map pointed towards the outskirts of Baska on the east side. Fair enough. Khal folded the paper map into his coat pocket and began making his way to the destination. Money, it couldn't be hard to miss. Jewels were simply paper and if the amount was truly as great as they said it was, then it'd be right in his face.That wasn't all there was to the quest though. Not only would the Eternal Nightmare mage have to find the money, but they would also have to burn the building in which it came. Whoever had beef with the Martello family had it rough right now, undoubtedly. Back to back, the Martello folks had been calling in Khalfani to do them favors. At this rate, they would ask the Desiertan to join their little gangs. Of course the Desiertan had no intentions on becoming involved with crime lords. Eternal Nightmare was enough for them. Plus, why get involved in such shenanigans when all they had to do was go back to Desierto and ask their grandfather for money.

Even their father would give them what they needed if they needed it that bad. Khalfani had a tribe behind him, maybe it was small, but it was mighty. Finally the mage approached the building before entering. it looked like it used to be a diner but was now a vacant building. With all the damn homeless people in Fiore it made no sense for this building to not be providing refuge to folks. It didn't take them long to find the cash under the tiles. So now it was time to light this bitch up. The sorcerer went to the kitchen before turning the stove on, then they flicked the lighter and threw it. Immediately a large flame hurled towards the roof and the crackling would begin. They stepped outside of the shop with a smile, watching as the place burned. So satisfying. They couldn't stay for long as someone would notice and so as they walked they traded items with one of the family's lackeys. Job well done.
