“That is why your parents left you here. They knew the family history but not all the dangers of it all,” Byakko said. Kazimir took a deep breath and pushed himself back to his feet. He knew his parents had done what they needed. That was clear from Adriana. And now he had another piece of the puzzle. I suppose that information is helpful. I have no choice but to fight them again though. And find out who that man really is.”
Kazimir suddenly jerked his head up. He ran out of the room and stormed toward the northern arbiter’s chambers. Within, he found the man’s body and then the eastern arbiter. They were both killed and removed from the equation. Kazimr placed hsi hand on the door frame. More death and destruction. Perhaps that was just his place in this life. “I am the last one now. I have to face him,” Kaz was tired of saying that. But it was true. He often found himself one of the last. The last of his clan, the last of his crew in the knights, and now the last arbiter of wind. “Alright, Where are the seven constellations?” Kaz asked. The spirits told the wind mage to head down into the city. But they have been unable to detect their presence. Kaz concluded that they must have already been taken prisoner or in hiding. Either way, he had to leave now. The mage jumped onto his griffon and took off.
