"Yer've been 'ere every night this past week and not once 'ave yer paid yer bloody tab. Eever bring me what yer owe or get out." The barkeep raised his voice, slamming both his hands on the bar in retaliation. His face glowered, daring her to fight him on this.
"I told you I would be good for it after my next job, didn't I?" She growled, her nails scratching the wooden bar top as she pulled her hands into fists.
"Yer words are worf naugh' ta meh when yer 'ave yet to even take one of the bloody quests on the board back there since yer arrived." He tapped the bar with a finger, pressing his point, that he wasn't going to trust empty promises.
"Tch." Realising she wasn't going to get anywhere with this, the woman finally decided to back off, stepping away from the bar as she prepared to storm out of the tavern.
