Mental health was a real issue and there need to be more systems in place to address it. With the amount of delusional people Khalfani had met in Orchidia in such a short span of time, it became evident that people were just being straight up neglected. There was this sort of unspoken thing where people just ignored people who seemed to be having mental battles. Things like this stemmed from a plethora of reoccurring issues, like poverty for example. The Dragon slayer hated the fact that deteriorating health was a normalized thing not in only in Fiore, but the whole damn world. It was sickening and needed to change. The problem was that not too many people cared about other people. Humans would always be the downfall of humanity, how ironic. You would think that folks would be more appreciative of each other. Alas, individuality was praised far too much.

When Khalfani got word that there was an event happening at the castle tonight and a certain someone had to be kept away because they were essentially out of their mind, the Black Panther just couldn't pass down the opportunity to see who this man was for himself. Apparently the whole entire city knew him. He went on endlessly about Satan and even about the end of times, but to call him an Idiot was just plain ole disgusting to say the least. Khalfani couldn't deal with such rhetoric. The man had to have gone through some traumatic events. That's why the Paradis Dawn guild member stood in front of the castle as people came and went. Crowds gathered around to see people in their beloved garments enter the building, some used devices to photograph while others just stared in awe. Khal didn't care about the festivities, he was here to learn more about Leis- and of course make some quick cash by doing it.

It would be untruthful for him to pretend like money wasn't an incentive. The commander had been invited, but he instead decided to stand off to the side and wait for the man they called the village idiot to arrive. It didn't take long for the old man to make an appearance. Before he could start his shenanigans Khalfani pulled him to the side, convincing him that these people didn't really care but instead, he did. He wasn't lying either. Leis was easily convinced and walked off towards Khalfani and began explaining what he was trying to say. Satan was trying to claim all of their souls, Leis explained. How was that idiotic? The mage listened and responded, adding in his two cents as Leis began to calm down in time. Here and there he would talk about his beloved wife and his kids. All in all Leis didn't seem crazy to him. In fact, he was no crazier than the religious cultists who were obsessed with Illumin. Of course, that was seen as religious freedom right? After a few hours of talking, leis went home feeling accomplished probably and Khalfani collected his check at the castle. That man was not crazy.
