Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji were spending time in Era. It was nice to be in a place they had not been in within the last two years. The two of them moved through the streets of Era and the people around them would look at the two-walking side by side with each other. They would be quick to notice that the person there was Yuurei. They would wave at him as they were excited to see someone like him in this place. Yuurei would do the same thing as he was heading toward the Rune Knights that were stationed here. It would seem like they had a job for mages to do, and he was heading to see what it was. He didn’t mind working here as he figured it would bring in more income.

The two of them would make their way to the location on the paper, and they would see the two Rune Knights.

Yuurei would step up to the two knights as they would look over at him. When they noticed that it was Yuurei, they would smile as they couldn’t believe that he was there. The Nephilim would show them the paper he had in his hand and when they saw this, they would stand firm because he was going to take care of their gang problem for them.

“Yuurei it's glad to see you here today. If you could do you think you can take out an entire gang for us? They have been causing chaos within Era, and we don’t have the manpower to do anything about it.” He said as he waited to see what Yuurei would say to them.

The berserker was excited to be able to take on this job and help the rune knights. It would make things better for this place, and he was fine with that.

“Yeah I can do that for you guys. I don’t mind taking out a bunch of crooks that are giving the people of Era a hard time.” He paused for a second as he would look at Renji.

The Exceed would look at him and he knew that they were going to do this and would get paid at the end of it.

“Just give me the direction on where to go. I won’t even give them time to explain what they’re doing here.” He said to the Rune Knights.

They would nod as they were glad that he was here. One of them would move up to him and they would hand him a paper. This paper would show the direction of where Yuurei could find the gang. This was going to be fun, and he would wave at them as he started walking away from them. Renji would look over at him and he would keep moving.

Yuurei

“This is going to be interesting. The last time we were going to do something like this was when we were in Hosenka. I remember it was with Nimbus, Kailani and Brone. Now we’re doing it on our own.” He said to him as they kept moving.

Yuurei would hear this and he would look to the sky. He did remember those times, and he wondered how Kailani was doing. The Nephilim kept moving through the streets of Era now as he had a job to do. This was going to be fun, and he expected that when he got there, he would be attacked on sight.

“You’re right, I do remember that. Still, Kailani still hasn’t gotten back to me.” He said to Renji.

It wouldn’t take long, but the two of them would finally make it to the address that the Rune Knights had given them. He would stand in front of the place he would look around as it seemed like they had been spotted.

Yuurei

Yuurei would look around as the men that belonged to the gang would run out of the spot as they would look at him. The Nephilim would see that they were armed with guns and weapons. This was interesting as he knew this was going to happen. One more person would show up and this guy would move through the crowd that surrounded him as he looked over at Yuurei.

“It seems like we got a famous person coming to our territory. Why is Yuurei the light mage doing in Era?” He asked.

Yuurei would look at him and he would have a smirk on his face.

“I was here to take you all out. It’s a job I was given.” He said to the man.

It wouldn’t take long, but Yuurei would grab Renji as he ran straight toward the man in front of him. The Nephilim would put his Exceed on his shoulder. Renji would see this as he would open his bag.

Yuurei

Yuurei would be daunted with all his gear now as he got close to the leader of the gang. Still, there were two people who would move forward in front of their leader. They would feel the impact from Yuurei as he took them out without a problem. The leader of the gang would jump back as he would take out a katana. It would seem like there were going to be a lot of people to fight now. The Nephilim would sprout his wings as he didn’t have time to use his spells on these guys. The people with guns would start to shoot at Yuurei, but he would fly up in the air to avoid the attacks.

They were surprised that he could do that, but he would move to the shooters. He would get to one of them and he would punch them right in the chest as he would send them flying.

Yuurei

Yuurei would notice that the men with the close-range weapons were moving toward him. That was good because it was time to show them who they were truly messing with. He would dodge the first person’s attack by moving back and then stepping back in as he shoulders tackle them. He would grab the weapon of the second person he would push it down and backhanded them as they fell to the ground. He would notice two more people shooting at him, and he would move to his right to avoid their projectiles.

The Nephilim made his way to the group that shot at him and he would dodge their attacks as they continued to shoot at him. When he got close enough, he would punch one in the face, and the second one he would thrust his leg toward and knock them out. The gang members would see how easily he was taking them out, which made them nervous now.

Yuurei

Even though the group was nervous about this one man, they would continue to attack. They would shoot more bullets at him, and the close-range fighters were rushing straight toward him. He would shake his head because they didn’t learn their lesson at all. He would move to the sky, and he figured he would take out a bunch of the people here at once. The Nephilim didn’t do this often, but he would move to the sky, and he would stretch his arm forward. A magic circle would appear, and then a second magic circle would appear of him, and he would start shooting arrows down at the gang members there.

The people there would try to dodge the arrows, but a lot of them would be hit by the arrows without a problem. Yuurei moved through his spell avoiding the arrows that were close to hitting him. He would make his way to those that dodged his arrows, and he would do a flying kick one or two of them as his spell had come to an end.

Yuurei would look at everyone that was still standing, and it would seem like a few were remaining. That was good because it would seem like he could take the remaining without a problem. He would start running toward the group of people that were left standing. They all happened to be close-range fighters, and they would run to him. The group would start fighting with Yuurei and he would dodge their attacks and he would knock them out as he continued to move through. There was one person he wanted to go after.

The leader of the gang was his goal, and he would soon reach him. The rest of his gang had been defeated, and he was surprised by how strong and scary this guy was. Yuurei would crack his neck as he couldn’t wait for this to be over.

“I guess if you want something done do it yourself right.” He said to Yuurei as he started moving toward him.

Yuurei would see this and when he saw the katana swinging down on him, Yuurei would dodge the attack and he would throw a quick jab at the man. He would dodge the attack and he would step back as he would look at the masked man with a cat on his shoulder.

“You know once you lose, you’ll be taken away right?” He asked him as he was getting ready to continue fighting.

The man would hear this and he would spit on the ground as he would rush toward Yuurei. The light mage would shake his head as he would dodge the man’s attack. It wouldn’t take long, but he would punch the man’s katana and he would snap the blade in half. It was then the man saw how strong Yuurei was, and before he knew it Yuurei would be in front of him and punching him straight in his abdomen.

Yuurei

The gang leader would feel the punch right onto his stomach, and he would gasp for air. He would look over at Yuurei and he would see the man shaking his head. He would fall to the ground, and the Nephilim would look at the number of men he had taken down.

“How do I bring these guys to those Rune Knights?” He asked out loud.

Still, before Renji could answer him, he would notice two people approaching him. He would have a smirk on his face when he noticed who they were.

“It seems like they decided to come to you instead.” Renji would say to Yuurei.

They would look around to see what he had done, and they knew that he would be right for the job.

“It seems like you were the right man after all. I’m glad we got you to do this. Here is your reward for your hard work, and I hope to see more of you in Central Fiore.” He said to Yuurei.

The two of them would start gathering the unconscious men and cuffing them. Yuurei would take his rewards and he would be on his way with Renji on his shoulder.
