Since leaving Jikan behind to deal with more of these stupid monsters, Otsukimi had found herself stayed from the pack. This didn't bother her but wherever she had fought herself into left her in an area with an alarming number of monsters of varying sizes. If she didn't know any better, she would think she was practically surrounded by these things. " Oh shit " a muttering under her breathe was enough self-verification to let her know she was in fact fucked. Otsukimi was strong but she wasn't immortal nor was she unstoppable. There was no way she was about to die here, not after all she had been through. Standing in the middle two very large monsters, Otsukimi pushed herself forward at the one in front of her, punching at its gut and connecting before she felt a large hand snatch her head back and slam her against the wall. The second monster wasn't about to be left out of the fun it seemed and that was problem. Shaking off the shock of the surprise attack, Otsukimi ducked as she saw two fists aiming at her head. Running low to the ground she kicked out the first monster's legs, breaking its ankle and causing it to fall to the ground but not before crashing into its buddy and taking him down as well. They were hardly around any of the civilians and the monsters kept growing in number around her which meant she just had to kill each and every one that came her way.

It was always interesting to consider who has the worst luck at times, But if anything he would be willing to face the task at hand even if he was weak and had no idea how would live through, It was sometime to see such a thing happen to Regis. But at least he was not alone this time even if Regis was yet to know he was not alone here it was entirely his fault that he did not know the other members of his guild yet. This was also something he would have to fix later, Because right now he was attempting to dealth with monsters.

For Regis it seemed he had to deal with eight of them. It was either extremely unlucky or maybe a good thing he needed to deal with to learn more things in his life to continue pressing on forward in life. But for now Regis would be doing what he could for the state he was in. Otsukimi would short meet Regis between what she was dealing with. With the sound of Regis just throwing which ever of the eight being was there to attack, He was not doing much. He also was not throwing them far, But he was trying his best, It was going to be an interesting but long situation for Regis at least.

The sun was sitting on the horizon, saying it's final farewell to the world as it retired, pulling its light back from the land. With each second that passed by a little more light left the world, the colors in the sky began to meld into an orange, red, and pink mess as it slowly gave way to the night, which mixed shades of purple into the pot. Truly it was beautiful and Otsukimi wished she could enjoy it, but she feared that wouldn't be possible with the challenge that she had to face and soon she'd have to face it in the dead of night. " Great.. " Was all she could mutter under her breath before a fist knocked her into another group of monsters. If she had to make a guess, she was surrounded by at least sixteen monsters and that just wouldn't do. Taking in a deep breath she blocked out every distraction that could attempt to get to her and throw her off her form. She was being hit from all sides, but the punches were hardly doing much to her as she endured through the pain. Biting her lip until she drew blood the next fist that would connect was instead met with a swift grab and sharp palm was breaking the arm it belonged too. She would no longer be a punching bag.

The palm was swifter than the punch that was thrown. The crunching bones as it broke skin and snapped in two was even more satisfying. The scream of the monster was enough to burst eardrums of someone made from weaker stuff. Otsukimi only laughed as she caught another fist, redirecting it to punch a different enemy. She was moving fast as to not get harmed herself while doing as much damage as the monsters around her. She had to get to the other member of her guild, she was not here alone but with all these monsters it was becoming a task and she hated tasks. A sharp pain from her back nearly caused her to buckle but she powered through it and spun around with her fist at the ready. The momentum of her body turning sent her fist into a monster's face where it sunk deeply causing her to yank it out with even more force which caused her fist to go forward into another monster's face. Their numbers were dwindling but not fast enough. She looked for an opening, somewhere she could gain some sort of space between her and the pit she was in as she was surrounded on all sides. Her brain was working in overtime as her body moved, kicked, punching, ducking, and whatever else she could do to stab off from being locked down.

Seconds felt like minutes and minutes felt like hours before she saw her moment. Getting low to the ground she would push her way between the legs of those who blocked her in. This gave her just a little bit of time to burst free to the other side and she used every bit of that time carefully. Now she was no longer surrounded and once she was out on the other side, she was able to catch a glimpse of Regis trying his best to stay alive. Helping him was not the first thing on her list but she knew she would eventually help him once she thinned the herd of monsters that was currently chasing her. Yes, she was running but it was to gain space from these things. Once space was made, she turned to face the monsters who managed to catch up to her, unfortunately she had the advantage and charged at them as they charged at her. The first monster got hit in the stomach and hard. His body crumpled down and she used his exposed back as a platform to jump off and into the rest of the monsters. Her body made its way onto a monster's head, her legs wrapping around its neck tight. The monster's arms shot up towards her where she grabbed them and pulled hard, using the pain as a way to puppet it around. With the monster as a puppet, she forced its body into the rest of the monsters before breaking its neck and pouncing on a different monster.

One by one they went down and though she was good this was still one being verses many. Thinking she got the upper hand she got careless and with that came a moment where she was grabbed from behind. Otsukimi was not in a good position and in fact she was in big trouble. With her not being able to move she was facing many foes and they wasted no time in through hit after hit into the deamon. She endured it, using her legs to kick down some of the monsters who attacked her. It wasn't much but it was all she could do for now. Exhaustion was starting to catch up to her so with one last burst of energy she shot her head forward and then with all her might threw her head back into the monster's face that was holding her. She was quickly let go as her body was dropped to the ground. As soon as she hit the mud, she got a face full of kick which would have knocked her out, but she endured. Otsukimi was putting up the best fight that she could muster and evenually the monsters that were surronding here were laying at her feet. Her body and face were bruised and bloody, but she was still standing. Otsukimi was also almost certain that she had lost a few teeth, but she didn't have time to inspect herself now. Spitting blood from her mouth she dragged her body in the direction she remembers seeing Regis. She wondered if was as tough as he looked. Knocking away any monster she came across her only hope would be that this was over soon.

Oh boy what situation he ended up in. it would take a bit of time because Regis had not exactly be in the best shape to wrestle a group of daemons since Regis had nothing he would make due with his hands. Maybe it would be some well needed stress relief or letting out anything else that might linger with in for a long period of time. First he would need to get over his first starting feeling that he got when these daemon and or monster showed up which was fear, the negative type that leave a person frozen in fear for a moment.

It would almost seemed like Regis might almost be a meal for them to eat with how little he was moving or taking action being frozen in the moment. It was annoying to be  thinking that he was just going to do nothing and die here, When he was just thinking over what he would do first. Hoping with what state he was in would be able to manage at least some of them. Over time he would just realize it would be good to just wrestle them. Then it would click in his head.

It would be met with one punch to the face of the one closest to him even if it did not to much to start with he just wanted it to kind of just slow it mentally for a moment, In which she would then place his head on it's shoulders and some how with a loud snap he managed to sever it's spine with his hands then he would grasp the corpse with both of his hands and well, hit one of the other ones with it. It was rather savage and primal but he was doing it this way.

But it did not seem to just do much into it right away, Regis needed to do more and he needed to try harder. And try harder he would as he swung which one of the remaining seven of them around him where around and got to close. Making sure to rip one of the corpse's arms off she just started slamming that arm into another's head as it got too close it was slowly starting to be effective just slow at least it was just not annoying to Regis he was trying and that was something he knew.

But that was only getting to two of eight down and Regis well, had to toss away the arm he was trying to beat other things to death with because it was hard to beat something to death thus getting back into a normal fight with his own hands he just started punching the next one as hard as he could. It would some what work until he found something again to cover for being unprepared. But he had not looked at anyone or said anything else Regis just focused on just beating down these monsters.

Then well he then at the best of his might grasp the jaw of one of them he start just pulling it while running himself into a wall or something solid to just make it have a bit of am impact, then he would just pull harder and eventually tear the jaw off. Then he would just forced into it's face and press until it stopped moving. It was just how he was doing all of it while he was getting their numbers down slowly, It was mentally relieving for him at the time but he was not out of the water yet.

he was moving one to killing a which ever would be number 4 of the 8 he was almost done half way there. Looking around as he start to back away slowly to see if he could control them slightly, he had to question how smart these being where just to keep swarming it was just something maybe into the plan of Regis to see what all he could do. If Regis planned this right he might be in the clear, it just took a bit of effort or thinking. Both logically could be considered for such a situation.

He would take a step forward headbutt one of them to give himself some distance between them. He then wrapped both of his arms around the one he just headbutt and suplex it much to the dismay of his leg and back letting out loud cracks from his body form how long it had been from doing something like that in general. He would just feel it later and most likely try not to mention how much stress he just put on to his body but doing something he had not attempted or done in a long time.

Then just kind of ploping on the ground for a moment Regis would get up because it left him feeling a bit sore. Then he would looking at the remaining three quickly realizing there was still a few there and stomp the one he just suplex  upon the area of the rib cage to just shatter it hopefully and leaving that one out of the fight. So far the only set back was doing something that he would not recommend anyone unprepared to do. After all that one move was not really something he normally considered ever doing over all.

But he was down to three, Thus he would try to settle them quickly as the reality of it is. He did not know if anymore could come or he he was free from all of this. He wanted to hopefully wrap this up and make it simple for him to leave, So he manage in taking one of them out quickly cloths lining one of them into a wall grabbing it by the back of the head and slamming it into a way repeatedly until he saw blood and what he assumed brain matter splatter, So he could move on to finishing off the other two.

Whatever he did, Regis made them scream loudly in pain as they passed one. Then looking around he was seeing if there was anything else that was going to pop up he wanted to be sure whatever it was Regis was going to be ready for it. Now he was a bit alive and some what still okay, He was something he could now be prepared for. At least in his mind weather he was actually ready for it was another question but he would really try his best too be ready.

The light had faded from the sky, the sun taking it's warm rays and leaving nothing behind but the dark of the night. The melting of colors gave way and now a void filled the air. Not even the light of the moon gave mercy as it hid behind thick dark clouds, clouds that every so often sparked and jerked with the light of lightning followed by the booming sounds of drumming thunder. As the moments went by during the transition the air became thick and heavy with humidity and then with all the warning it could give the clouds burst and heavy drops of rain hit like bombs on the world below. The thick dry mud became slick and wet, almost impossible to move in without falling if your footing wasn't right or your shoes couldn't handle it.

The heavy flow of rain made it almost impossible to see properly as the sheets of water washed over everyone. The monster may have been ok, and those who weren't purely human including Otsukimi herself. These were just minor annoyances to her, or at least that's what she told herself as she tried to make sure she didn't fall in the mud when about twenty monsters surrounded her. For whatever reason she couldn't seem to shake them and whenever she took down one of these things, two more popped up from nowhere to replace it. This whole fight seemed like a suicide mission if she were being honest with herself and she didn't even know why she was fighting as hard as she was for a guild she didn't care about at all. Her mild interests landed her in getting her hands dirty for a cause she truly did not give a shit about. These monsters were not her problem, she wanted some good food and to nap but instead she was getting her shit faded by some things she didn't even have problems with. If they wanted to kill these people and destroy the town she would gladly let them, hell she might even help. Unfortunately she was too beat down, even a deamon has it's limits and she hit hers about the twentieth monster ago.

The heavy rains hadn't stopped in all the time she was fighting so she was wet, muddy, and weighed down. With each punch thrown and each kick that landed she was reaching her limit. She had to thank her ability to withstand a hit because she would have been out a long time ago. Though soon punches became scratching and bites, bare hands grabbing skin and muscle and ripping them off. She had thrown out any skill and went straight feral doing what she could to rip the numbers of monsters down around her. Regis was on his own and if he was in this guild he was probably ok on his own anyway. One by one the monsters fell but not without doing damage all of their own. She had felt her hair ripped out, face punched in, and she was pretty sure she had a broken rib. This would have been so much easier with magic but for whatever reason she couldn't expel her mana to use her magic which left her with the only option of hand to hand combat. A pain in the ass for sure but it worked, not better than magic, but it worked.

A monster bigger than the rest seemed to be drawn to the conflict around Otsukimi. Her back was turned and she didn't see him coming. Her hands were around the neck of a smaller monster because she was smashing it's skull into the ground causing mud and blood to fly everywhere. When she saw this her mind drifted because mud and blood sounded like a great movie title. Unfortunately the thought was short lived as she felt her body being yanked off the monster. In seconds flat she was in the air and flying over several over the monsters until she hit the ground square on her back. It was miracle she didn't break her back, or any other bone for that matter. Though she was still in pain she noticed that she wasn't around the large group of monsters anymore. Sure monsters were still around but at least she could handle what was near and still make her escape. There was no honor in running from a fight but Otsukimi didn't have any to start with. Slowly getting up and using the rain to wipe the mud from her face, she would run in a direction where the monsters would start to fade. Whatever crossed her path got put down as quickly as she could manage until she was so far from where the monsters spawned that she was no longer in any danger. She had made it out in one piece for the most part but now she needed to leave this town for good.

There was a good moment of pause were Regis had moments of relief for him to allow his mind to breath and process a fair amount of information mentally. Plus it was a good moment to breath mentally as well after all there was not much worry with in that moment of time he needed to ponder how to get away. Then again if thought about it a bit more there was that paranoid worry of what if there was more of them, after all he could not lower his guard so quickly and so soon. After all he was just in some manner worried as always.

Not too long after his mind was set some what at ease fate showed him more things that would come for him, a higher amount this time, Regis' next trial of fate has now started. he had eleven of them this time most people might consider it something that would end his life. Regis seems to took it a bit more in stride as a test to himself to see how far he could go. if he died here then he died here, But Regis would most likely find way to be safe and alive.

But now he needed to work his way through eleven of these monster or daemons and so he was not brave as most people could consider him about it but he was determine. eleven against one however it just a massive question and worry about being swarmed upon. But if anything Regis got through most of them with out worry he could deal with these things with out problems that would be in theory life ending But it all mattered how strong they where and how strong he could be too. But he was far more determine to just see how far it could stretch out.

So just his cracked his knuckles and and dove right into the group of them because he at this point, Did not fear them at all. There was something nice feeling about football tackling one through an entire group just to hear them screech in pain before crushing them against a wall to render them no longer a problem. But that was just one of many. As he was building up his momentum he was getting the flow pretty good for the most part, The fuse to fuel this figurative fire had been activated.

Regis would jog over to a one of them remaining ten, grasp upon one of their arms and one of their legs and pull them a part, because well the pieces would be a good enough distraction to just throw them into the others to so just have not reaction differently for a small period of time. in which for the most part seemed to work for him just has he wanted too it it was a good moment of distraction so they she would take out a few others between some of them throwing away the parts of their formerly living ally.

Eventually Regis would finish up what he was going ending the lives of the various monsters bringing that number down from eleven to zero, In some manner Regis realized he felt better about it, only because he spared and saved his own life, He would do this for other people eventually but this time he had to feel a bit greedy. but he looked at all the matter and blood he was covered in and waited to see if he had to deal with anymore of them, counting the seconds in his head for a small amount of time.

Then he looked around, stopped counting. Realizing he was safe from any more beings that could be summoned to attack. Then started looking for a safe place to leave to retreat. He had made it out a live in something he did not think or assume he would ever live through. All and all he could consider this a good situation even if he did not expect it to start with.
