Dan yawns as he walks down the streets of magnolia towards the spot he was supposed to meet his current client. As he walked up to the door of the building he realized that he was standing outside the boxing arena that had become a lot more popular in recent times. As he approached he saw a young blonde boy walking towards him quickly. "Hey are you the mage I hired?" The boy asked quickly as Dan noded and showed him the request in his hands. Smiling the boy quickly began to talk. "Great I need you to sign up for today's exhibition match with the new champion and take the belt from him." The boy said with a irritated look on his face as Dan sweat dropped a bit. "What's wrong with the current champion?" Dan asked curiously as the boy looked at him. "He won the belt using a cheap strategy instead of a fair fight." Dan noded slowly before agreeing to the job.

After Dan finished signing up with the help of Tyler he walked to the back to prepare for the match. Dan was actually a pretty good boxer having learned it from his dad before he mastered his Frost Make: Knuckles spell to compliment the style of fighting. As he got warmed up he heard the door to the room open and in walked to his surprise the current champion Rodric with a cocky grin. "So your the guy who signed up to get beaten today?" He spoke with a laugh as if Dan was no threat to him. Dan ignored the current champ and continued his stretches to loosen his muscles. Annoyed at being ignored Rodric scowled before smirking at Dan. "Well settle this in the ring soon enough." He said before leaving the room as Dan finished his warm up and began to walk to the ring shaking his head as he does.

As Dan entered into the ring he was nearly deafened at the sound of the crowd cheering for him. Dan looked in mild disbelief at everyone cheering for him. 'Man people really do hate this guy's Dan thought to himself as he adjusted his boxing gloves as the referee patted him down to check for anything illegal before walking towards and raising his gloves. "Sixty seconds is all it is going to take for me to beat you into the floor." Rodric says before putting in his mouth guard again. Dan shook his head before touching gloves and backing up slightly into his corner. As the bell rung Dan walked forwards and ducked under Rodrics punch. Dan dodged around a few more before he noticed something. 'Dear lord he's slow.' Dan thought as he dodged another punch without much effort. Slowly a plan formed in Dan's brain as he smirked to himself.

As Dan once more dodged a punch this time he quickly tapped Rodric on the rib. Jumping back mostly from shock Rodric saw Dan smirking before he understood the message 'I can hit you anytime I want.' Seeing this Rodric began to throw even harder punches at Dan but none were able to connect with him. Dan spent the next five minutes doing a mix of dodging and tapping Rodric on various parts of his body like his ribs, cheek and nose while smirking the entire time. Finally the sound of the bell ran out and both men returned to their corners.

Dan quickly drank some water and whipped the small amount of sweat off his forehead while watching Rodric sneering in the corner as a man dabbed at his nose which had started bleeding after Dan last shot at it. Dan decides he had amused himself enough and when the bell rang he waited until Rodric threw another punch before nailing him in the chin with a corkscrew uppercut that had Rodric counting the lights on the ceiling. As the referee counted to ten Dan smiled as the bell rang signaling that the fight was over.

As Dan smiled he lifted the belt above his head before asking for a microphone. "Thank you all for the cheers but I am sad to say I can't accept the belt so I am going to be reverting the belt back to the previous champion before Rodric but I do thank everyone here for coming out today." Dan said before handing the belt back to the official while grabbing the prize money and walking out. After a quick talk with Tyler he got his pay and began to walk back to Fairy Tail.
