Yuurei


Yuurei had noticed that there was a flier throughout Rush Valley. He was surprised that he didn’t see this earlier, but here he was. He had excitement written all over his face as he would look at it. He read through it and it would seem like the client wanted him to look for her friend within the Worth Woodsea and see what happened to him. He was fine with that, and he didn’t mind it. Renji would look at him and it would seem like they were going on a job.

“Where are we going?” He asked Yuurei.

Yuurei would smile at him as he picked him up.

“We’re heading to the Worth Woodsea.” He said to Renji as he would start moving to the location.

He knew where he was going, and he would start making his way there. It wouldn’t take long, but Yuurei would find himself at the entrance in the area that his flier had told him to head to.

Yuurei would go into the forest without a problem, and he started searching through the forest. It was a place that he had been to many times before. He was a half-elf and his affinity with nature was strong. He missed his home, and he would always come here when he could. Still, he wasn’t sure what kind of clues he was looking for within the area. He just knew that he had to start somewhere if he wanted to find the client’s friend. Renji was doing his best to look around and help Yuurei with the search. He wasn’t sure what he was looking for, but he figured that they would find something.

The Nephilim kept looking around as the forest was guiding him. They were forcing him to get lost, but it would seem like they wanted to show him where he could start if he wanted to find who he was looking for.

When he got to the location, he didn’t see anything, and the forest would stop moving and changing for Yuurei. They had escorted him to where they wanted him to be. Now that he was there, the young man would start moving around the place. He was looking around and he had the picture of the man he was looking for. He moved through the forest without a care in the world. This was the place he loved more than anything and he didn’t think he had anything to worry about. While moving around he would see some fairies moving around the place. He would walk over to them, and he would hope that they would be useful to him.

“Excuse miss. Do you know where I might find this man?” He asked her as he showed her a picture and waited for an answer.

The woman would look at Yuurei and she could see the divineness dwelling within him.

She would remember that he had asked her a question and she would bow slightly to him embarrassed.

“No, I have not seen that man. Wait, yes, I have, but I can’t remember where. I think he was indeed somewhere around here.” She said to him.

Yuurei was glad that he was on the right track. The fairy didn’t help him lower the search, but at least he was in the right place. He would bow slightly as he would start walking around the place. He wasn’t giving up as he knew that he would be able to get a definitive answer soon enough. He kept moving through the forest and Renji would be on the lookout as well.

“I hope we find him soon.” Renji said as they kept moving around.

Yuurei would see more fairies and he would ask them questions. Some of them would tell him that they didn’t see him, but others would tell him that they had seen him, but were not sure where had gone.

Yuurei would keep searching and he would bump into a boy with a mask. He was playing around on a log and he was kicking his leg in the air. The Nephilim would approach him without a problem. When the young man saw this, he would look at Yuurei and tilt his head with.

“Oh I got a visitor. How can I help you?” He asked Yuurei.

Yuurei would smile at him and he was glad that he was able to answer him.

“Hey there, it seems like you were relaxed here. It’s so nice, but as for helping me, I was wondering if you could direct me on where I can find this guy.” He said to the boy in the mask as he would show him the picture.

He would see this and he would take the picture and he would examine it. He would hand it back to Yuurei as he did see the boy.

“He went that way. I hope you find what you’re looking for.” He said to Yuurei.

Yuurei would hear this and he was glad that he was able to help a bit.

“Thank you for the help.” He said to the man as he would start walking in the direction he was told to go.

The duo would make their way around the place, and they were finally on a path. When they were doing this, they would see a bunch of people walking around the forest. He would ask for directions, and they didn’t know where they were going. He would sigh as he would give them directions on how to get out of the forest. When they heard him, they would nod and start walking in the direction he gave them.

He would keep moving in this direction and he would hope for the best. He knew that something had to give and he was going to find something. It wouldn’t take long, but he would find Deku plants around the area.

Yuurei would see that they weren’t doing anything, and he would continue moving. He figured that he was safe, but then they would start attacking. He would sense the danger coming from three different directions. He would dodge all three of the attacks and he would see that the Deku plants were moving. He would smile at this as he didn’t expect to be attacked in the forest. Still, he would use his cape to fly around. He didn’t want to bother the forest with his angelic presence. It would harm them in a different way, and he wasn’t going to do that.

The berserker would move to the first one and he would punch it square on his head. It would push the Deku down and it would just stay there. He would look around and he would see that there was more to this as he moved around the area to the second Deku.

Yuurei would see the seeds being shot at him, and he would dodge them without a problem. He would get to the Deku and he would punch it and it would be taken out with that one punch. He was flying this entire time with his cape, which he had attuned to his light element. He would look at the third Deku as it would shoot out a barrage of seeds at Yuurei. He would start flying around without hesitating and he would just make his way to the Deku. It would look surprising that Yuurei had gotten to it so quickly. He would shake his head he would punch it and would send it flying.

He would land on the ground, and he would shake his head about it. He would just crack his neck and then from there he would look around to see where he would go next. Once he decided to keep moving in the same direction the boy had pointed not too long, he kept walking.

Yuurei kept moving and soon enough he would see more Dekus around. This time they wouldn’t catch him off guard. He knew that they were there, and once they saw him, they would shoot out seeds as they appeared to him. He would see this, and he would dodge their attacks without getting hit by any of them. The berserker kept moving through the forest as he would make his way next to the Deku. It would see this, and it would look at Yuurei before he kicked the creature without hesitating. He would send it flying and he would move on to the next Deku.

This one was bigger than the usual ones, but it wouldn’t make a difference to him. They were all going to end the same and that would be on the ground right now. He would fly with his cape, and his necklace would make sure to warn him of the danger.

The light mage would make it to the big Deku and he would punch it twice. Yes, he wanted to make sure that he had taken it down without a problem. He did need it shooting seeds at him when he wasn’t paying attention. Once he had finished with that one, he would look at the other two and he would start flying straight to them. They would start shooting the big seeds at him and he would dodge them as he could see what was coming to him. That was when he got right in front of them. He would catch them both with his move and he would take them out at the same time. They would welp before they would be sent flying from the attack.

The Nephilim would land on the ground with ease and he would look around to see that he was in the clear.

“Ready to move on?” He asked Renji.

“Yeah before more show up.” He said to Yuurei.

Yuurei and Renji kept walking through the forest as they were still looking for the client’s friend. They kept moving and soon enough they would find themselves in another maze. This was interesting, but he knew that it wouldn’t be hard to navigate through. He would continue to move through the place, and he would find the next obstacle within the maze. It would seemed like there were potholes everywhere, one that he would have to swim through each time he fell into. He didn’t like that, so after he fell into the first one, he would just fly over the rest of it. He would shake himself and Renji was dry through it all. That sucked that there was such a thing in the forest.

The Nephilim would move through it without a problem now. He knew they were everywhere, so he continued to follow the path as he was hoping to find the guy he was looking for.

It wouldn’t take long, but Yuurei would start seeing heading to the next part of the maze. This part of the maze was different, and it would seem like there were monsters in every corner. He wasn’t sure what was going on, but he would try to sneak past it. It wouldn’t work as it would turn to look at Yuurei and it would stretch its arm at him. That was when he saw the eye before a beam shot at him. He would dodge the attack without a problem and wondered if the thing had turned by mistake. He was pretty sure that he was soundless but then noticed that he didn’t have his armor equipped on him.

He would shake his head and he would punch the creature with everything that he had. When his attack had connected, the monster would break apart, and he would shake his head as he would look over to Renji.

Yuurei would keep it moving while looking at his friend.

“Hand me my equipment. We’re about to make sure that none of them could hear or see us.” He said to Renji.

It was dark right now in this part of the forest. He figured his almost invisible would work perfectly fine. He would use that, and at the same time Renji would open his bag and it would equip everything on him. He would make his next move now, and he would start moving through the maze without a problem. The Dullahans that he saw around wouldn’t even spot him and they couldn’t hear him. This was good as he would keep moving through the area without a problem. There were a lot of them, and he couldn’t believe this, still, he couldn’t have just fought them all, and he would have been fine.

It wouldn’t take long, but Yuurei would see stairs not too far from where he was and wondered where that had led to.

Yuurei would make his way to the steps, and he would make sure that eh was still invisible. When he got up to the stairs, he would see that there was a temple at the top. His eyes widen when he saw the beauty behind it. He would look around to see if he would see if the client’s friend was here, but nothing. It would seem like he had come here for no reason. There had to be something more, and it was then he would hear an instrument being played. The melody was beautiful, and he would follow it until he saw a girl playing it.

He would approach her and without a problem he would introduce himself.

“Hey there, the name is Yuurei Starlight, and you are?” He asked as he was ready to see if she knew about his client’s friend.

Sara would look at him and she would smile at him.

“Hi my name is Sara. It looks like you’re lost?” She asked him.

Yuurei would hear her and he would chuckle as he would rub the back of his head. He wasn’t lost, but he did know that he couldn’t find who he was looking for.

“No, not lost, but I was looking for this guy. His friend was looking for him.” He said as he would show her the picture of the guy.

Sara would see this and she would think about and she would chuckle as she couldn’t believe someone was looking for him.

“Yes, I saw him. He had come to do something, and once he was done he had left to his princess and a city in an unknown county.” She said to Yuurei.

The berserker would hear this and it would seem like he had learned that the client’s friend wasn’t here anymore. He would sigh as he figured that he could tell his client that at least.

Yuurei would wave to Sara as he would sprout his wings and fly out of the forest without hesitating.
