Though she came from a faraway land, Priya Ratri felt at home there. Though her sense of asthetics stood leagues apart from that of her fellow artificers in Talaz Lagaar, she admired their brilliance and ingenuity. Between her dark skin and lustruous black hair, to her exotic choice of garment, the woman wore her foreign origins, with pride, and yet the intricate, metallic ornaments adorning her elegant frame belied her true passion. Wether at home or in Talaz Lagaar, the ambassador stood out, whether by her fashion sense laden in artifice in the former, or by her ethnicity in the latter: "...No no, it won't work like this, will it? A power source of this scale couldn't possibly feed a construct this sizeable. What are we missing?", plenty of knowledge had been lost in the mayhem. Many engineers from Talaz Lagaar had perished from the plague. Many of them took vital knowledge of the grave. Countless precious artifacts and the knowledge to built them, split apart and scattered to the four winds. Bringing all these scattered pieces together, leaning from them, improving them, and that way ensuring no precious knowledge would be lost in this chaos... That was her passion. Bellum strove to keep open relations with the various countries of Ishgar, and Talaz Lagaar was no exception. But to Ambassador Ratri, this particular position held a personal significance: "If only we had another Professor Braun hmm?", she chimed, a soft smile on her face despite the grueling effort of her task. She respected Professor Braun as the most brilliant artificer in Talaz Lagaar, and for this reason, she'd aligned Bellum's interests with those of the Third Movement. But that didn't mean she'd put all her chips in one basked. Laden with mysticism from a faraway land, her own brand of artifice baffled the people of Talaz Lagaar. Bellum wasn't exactly known for its technology, but it was known for artistry and craftsmanship. But Priya Ratri loved this land like a second home. Despite her favours lying with one specific faction, she kept an open mind, and would accept help wherever it came from. Event Conditions

- Talaz Lagaar Loyalist Post:
- Yuurei didn’t think the factions were right. The robots needed to stay within Talaz Lagaar. They were too far in advance, and people wouldn’t understand. It would create chaos and would force the robot factions to attack or defend themselves. He wanted to avoid that, so he couldn’t join them; the third faction was a bit too extreme as he couldn’t see himself turning into a Machia. He was in no way going to be a part machine because someone thought it was the right thing to do. It was why out of all the things factions he could join it would be the Talaz Lagaar Loyalists.
They wanted to keep technology away from society. Yuurei had pillaged Zero many times, and he knew how advanced their technology was. Of course, he would keep these things to himself, while supporting the Loyalists.
Yuurei had an agenda today; there was information spread from the Loyalist faction. They had spoken of an Ambassador within Bellum. Her influence was known throughout her country, and she would have a lot of power to give if they got her on their side.
The Seraphim had heard that she enjoyed creating things. When he heard about this, he decided that he would make something. The hunter figured that he would show off the results of his training. He had learned that his family had come from a lineage of Blacksmith. Brone had been helping him with learning how to forge items. He had gotten pretty good at it as well, and he was surprised that he never took a liking to it before.
Renji would be with him and the Exceed knew that he was going to show off. The moment he heard that the woman enjoyed cool gadgets she knew that Yuurei would try to impress her. The arcane mage was at the forge in his guild. He would be able to get to Bellum quickly; he was going to use some of the pieces that he had obtained from Zero to impress her.
He figured he could show her the destructiveness that Talaz Lagaar had possessed. They didn’t want their stuff to be taken from the outside world, so he would show her why.
“Why is it so hot in here?” Renji had asked Yuurei.
He would look at him with a smile as he would continue his work.
“It has to be. The stuff that we create here needs to have a certain heat effect on it. It is the only way for it changes shape into what I want it to be.” He said to Renji.
The Seraphim was making a gun; this gun would be energized with a mechanism that he had found within Talaz Lagaar. He would make the outer shell of the gun that he wanted to make; the noise of him hammering the metal within the room was loud. Renji was pretty sure that everyone in the guild would be able to hear this. He would see Yuurei taking the metal and placing it in the fire to reheat it. When he saw that it was ready, he would take it out and he would forge it with every hit of his hammer.
“This heat is not something I’m used to. How do you people enjoy this? I’m going to go to bed, you can take full control of your arm Yuurei.” He said to him.
Yuurei figured that he was doing that the entire time, but that wasn’t the case. He would just nod though as he wasn’t going to argue with Migi. He was getting used to this world and possibly sharing a body with someone. The Seraphim would continue to hammer away the steel that he was using and when he was done with that part, he would move on to the next spot.
He knew what to do with the machine parts that he had gotten from Talaz Lagaar. He had been playing around with it for quite a bit. He was trying to see if he could get it to shoot things without having to spend mana. When he experimented to see if it would work, there were a few times that he would come out with it messing around. The Seraphim wasn’t sure that he could eliminate taking mana out of the equation just yet.
Yuurei's solution to this was to make it so that the gun he created would only use a bit of mana in combination with the technology he would combine with it. This would create something better and far scarier than he was expecting. Still, if he had shown her this, then maybe she would change her mind; of course, he was planning on giving that to her as a gift. What she did with it would be up to her.
He was well versed in the creation that would go into the gun. The Seraphim had made a skeleton already for the gun. He was just making the outer shell of it. He needed to create something that would be able to withstand the blast that came from the shots the gun would fire.
“I think if Brone was here, he would be proud of what I could make.” He said to Renji.
The Exceed would look at him and he was wondering why he had thought about a gun to make out of everything else.
“What made you think of making a gun out of everything else?” He asked Yuurei waiting for him to answer.
Yuurei would look at him and he would look up to the ceiling as the steel was heating up. He was thinking about why he had chosen that type of creation for a weapon over anything else. The dark mage would look over to Renji as he had a smile on his face.
“Well, I was thinking about what to make a while ago. Then I thought about the technology that we had pillaged from Zero. I figured that one thing that could handle its technological power would be a gun. That is why I got to make sure the shell of this is perfect.” He said to him as would take out the steel from the fire.
Yuurei would start hammering the steel as he had to make sure that the shape was precise. Renji would nod as he understood what he was saying. Now he was more interested in why he wanted to present it to the woman from Bellum.
“I see; so what makes you think that the woman from Bellum, will be interested in this gun?” He asked Yuurei.
Yuurei would smile at him as he was hammering the steel in front of him. Once he got a good shape, he would put it back into the heat, so that he could continue his work.
“I was always going to make this gun. I planned on selling it or giving it to someone who would need it within the guild. Then I heard about Ambassador Ratri. Apparently, she enjoyed different creations. She is what they say in Bellum, an artificer. She creates things of sorts, so I figured I would present her with a gift when I see her.” He said as he paused for a second.
He would continue to bring the steel on how he wanted it to be shaped.
“Once I show her this, I will give it to her and talk to her about why she should side with keeping this technology kept within Talaz Lagaar.” He said to Renji.
The Exceed would hear this and he would stay quiet for now. He understood Yuurei’s motive, and he was glad that he took the time to explain all of this. Yuurei was now done with the second part of the gun. He would take the two pieces and he would put them in the water, so they would cool down as he would start working with the smaller pieces for the gun. He was also working on the machinery that he had brought to the forge with him as well. He would make sure that everything was fine and ready to be placed into the shell.
Once the pieces had cooled down, Yuurei would start putting the pieces into the gun. The Seraphim would solder the pieces into the inner part of the shell. He would have the utmost focus when he was doing this. He didn’t want to burn himself, and he didn’t want to fly to machinery. He didn’t create it, but he only modified it. It would take him hours to handle it, but he would be able to finish putting everything within one side of the shell.
This was perfect and he would start to meld the other side of the gun on. This was interesting and it was the first time he had been able to create something like this. Once he was done with this, he would place it in his pocket dimension and he would allow it to cool down there. The Seraphim would put the tools away and he would leave the forging room as he would prepare himself to meet up with Ratri.
The young man would clean himself up and he would make sure that he would head to her now. Yuurei would put on some clean clothes, and he would walk over to a door. The Seraphim would use his key and he would use it to get to Bellum. That was when he remembered he had never been there; he wasn’t sure why he had thought he had been there before. So, he decided to travel to Desierto first, and then fly to Bellum. He would do just that as he used his key to make his way to that country. Once he had appeared in Deserito, Yuurei would rise to the air and he would head to Bellum.
The man moved as fast as he could without holding back. He figured he would go meet the woman as soon as he could. Yuurei wanted to be the first person to do so. People who looked at the sky would see a blur moving through the sky. They couldn’t make out who it was, and he would be gone soon after. The Seraphim’s travel was quick and soon enough he would make it to the location where the Ambassador had sent to be seen last by the Talaz Lagaar Loyalist.
Yuurei would roam around the place as he was looking for the woman. Her description was unique in its own way, and soon enough Yuurei would stop moving. His eyes focused as he stared at the woman not too far from him. He would see that Ratri was hanging about; Yuurei was just caught in her beauty that he had forgotten to speak for a second. He would shake his head as he would approach the woman without hesitation.
“Ambassador Ratri, I’m Yuurei Starlight; I’m an Ambassador for the Altharan Elves. I am also on the side of the Talaz Lagaar Loyalist and I wanted to see if you would join our cause. I believe that Talaz Lagaar’s technology should stay within the island and shouldn’t be shared with everyone in this world just yet. I have a gift for you.” He said as the gun would appear in his hand.
“This gun is something I created while fusing it with Talaz Lagaar’s technology. Look at the destructiveness this thing has.” He would aim it in the air and he would pull the trigger.
It would take some of his mana from him and it would shoot out a huge cone-like blast into the sky and separate the clouds in the sky. Once he did that, he would let go of the handle and present it to her as a gift.
“This is a gift from me to you. You can choose to do with it as you will. Still, you wouldn’t want a neighboring country with such power to use that kind of power against Bellum. This is something that could happen if Talaz Lagaar continues to let their stuff continue to leak out of the island.” Yuurei explained a bit about why she should join and had given her an item he had created.

- Third Movement Attempt:
- Jin was on a task now for the country. Another game for a nation other than his own that he supported. Ambassadors from foreign lands began to make their way into the region. As people began to choose sides, Professor Braun needed support. Jin knew the man's goal was right. He could feel it in his now mechanical heart. He was made aware that the woman was interested in seeing the new technology that was available. Jin held his arm up and looked at it. The wires and gears whirled beneath the semi-organic layer of skin he wore. It still took some getting used to but protected him from the plague that had struck. This was what the professor really wanted. To be able to show the world proof that his process could work. That man and machine could become one.
In an effort to help others, Jin didn't give a second thought to becoming part machine. Mostly machine as his heart was now spinning and pumping mechanical processes throughout his replaced organs. The only thing that felt foreign was how easy it had been to adapt to it. Nothing felt out of place, it all just eased together. He'd forget he was even a machine sometimes, aside from noticing he never needed to eat.
The streets were as crowded with tech as ever. He made his way through, bringing in a few looks from the sun symbol that hovered over his head. But most of the people had gotten used to seeing him now. Soon he found his target. A woman dressed from a different land. Her mind in thought about something deep. She stood as calm as one could among a sea of strangers. The ambassador, without a doubt. He pressed a man on the arm to gently nudge them out of the way as he drew closer.
He approached the ambassador just as he caught her final fleeting words about Professor Braun. But before he could speak, Yuurei a renowned guild master appeared. The man beat him to the punch and introduced himself to the artificer from another land. She definitely stood out from the crowd both in looks and dress. Someone from Bellum all the way out here was impressive. There was something about her that spoke volumes to the intrigue she had about technology and culture.
Yuurei then pulled out a gun. Jin's eyes focused on it. Not sure what he was going to do and was curious as to how it would all play out. But he was with the elves. A loyalist in favor of an isolationist path. But how well would that work against a woman already on the good side of the professor? Jin stood with a hand on his hip waiting to see how the rest would play out. Jin's eyes focused in as he heard that Yuurei had fused a gun with Talaz Lagar Tech. He could already see the route he needed to take. The small holes he could try and poke and prod at. The man fired the destructive weapon into the sky with a brilliant display.
The weapon parted the clouds. It was impressive that the man had been able to manufacture something of such significance. With the ability to see the man's mana, Jin could see that the weapon drained some of it in order to fire that blast. Yuurei then offered the weapon to the ambassador. The people around began to keep their distance as eyes gazed upwards toward the spectacle in the sky. Others huddled away in shock, having not expected a sudden burst of destructive mana energy. Firing off a weapon in the midst of a city was probably not the best political look. It only made Jin think even more that guild mages acted with disregard to the non-mages around them. But he wasn't going to bring up the potential ramifications of just firing off a massively dangerous weapon even into the air in the middle of a city. Especially one with rival factions struggling for power. Jin had been at the wrong place at the wrong time with the law enough times to know this could get a person in trouble.
Jin then slunk in next to the two of them, "An interesting item. Bold to put all that claim on the tech of Talaz Lagar being dangerous as you said that was your creation, only using some of the tech here." Jin looked back up at the parted clouds, "Would seem you are the destructive one. To come to Talaz Lagar and the first thing you create is an item for destruction, ignoring all the real benefits of shared technology." Jin then looked back at Yuurei and the Ambassador. He could see the immense power that the Guild Master possessed. His mechanical eyes gifted him the ability to read people's capabilities. His inorganic pupils shifted as they quickly analyzed both of them. It was more a habit now than something done with intention. But it revealed a terrifying presence in the guild master of Paradise Dawn. "And to be honest...with the amount of power that mages have already. Especially yourself. Â I doubt you would need a hand canon to cause just as much if not more damage." Jin let his hands hang relaxed at his sides and whisked back the sides of his coat to put both hands on his hips. He hinged at the waist ever so slightly.
"But ever more than that. My friend I think you undermined your own argument." Jin hinged back to an upright position with his hands both cupping the back of his head. He wasn't wearing his helmet and his guild mark was hidden beneath his armor. Not that guilds mattered all the way out here. "You talked about the fact that Talaz Lagar should keep its tech to itself. All the while, you've taken it, and then given it away to someone from a foreign country. The exact thing you said you stand against." Jin knew that as the person that came in second, his first order of business needed to be weakening his opponent's stance. He just wished it wasn't someone that could whisk him out of existence so easily. The Warden of Light himself. One being that Jin had been fortunate enough to stay off of the bad side of. He glanced toward the Ambassador to see their response to the counter he posed. But at his core, he felt from what he heard about her, that she was here for the tech that Talaz Lagar could offer. And Yuurei's position was the exact opposite of what could potentially benefit the woman and the reason she came.
"Pleased to meet you, Ambassador Ratri. My name is Jin Tatsumi. I know you are a fan of Professor Braun and I'm here on behalf of his initiative," he gave a polite nod as his hands lowered to his side for a more formal half-bow." And as it stands right now, it seems that whatever country Yuurei is defending would have access to that destructive tech. So it would seem as a means of defense for Bellum...that you would benefit from access to this country's tech as well." He then put one hand into his pocket with a smile and waved the conversation off with his other hand.
"But destruction... that's not the tech I'm interested in talking about." Jin then pulled his sleeves up and his forearms opened to reveal circuitry and gears. He pulled his shirt down to expose his chest. His chest cavity pulled away from his body with a small gust of steam. It then opened up like dual sliding doors to reveal a mechanical heart beneath. One of the pinnacles of the professor's research.
"This is what Professor Braun has been working on. What I wanted to show you...is his accomplishment in fusing man with machine. I no longer hunger or thirst. My organs are mechanical so disease and poison are a thing of the past." he spoke as the mechanical heart spun and turned in his chest, sending energy to the rest of his body. Only a light hum came from the machine and only now that his chest was opened.
"But the most important thing...is after the procedure. I didn't lose my sense of self. I am the same man mentally as before." This is what the good doctor wanted to accomplish. He would stand and let the Ambassador inspect the work, as long as she didn't try and reach in to mess with anything. Â
"The professor's goal isn't to force this change on people. But to open up the availability of it so that people won't need to suffer anymore. No more need for hunger or thirst. A society that can get away from wars overdriven by base needs. One where instead of worrying about where someone's next meal will come from, or how many people a plague will kill. people can focus on exploring and making all our lives better. It sounds like a crazy idealist...but this is the first step" Jin said as some people peeked around to see the open display of mechanical technology. The occasional dust and tiny debris were easy enough to flush out of the system later.
He hoped this display would help solidify her choice. Not knowing if Yuurei was going to make a counter play and further fight for his case. Jin was lucky that the ambassador already had a leaning toward the professor, and hoped that that would be enough to finalize the situation. He hated doing this kind of political maneuvering, but just like last time, something compelled him to do so. Always seemed to drop him in the middle of turbulent nations.
"I know isolation sounds nice. To keep dangerous weapons away from others in some effort to protect ourselves. But nothing will stop someone from getting some ability to wage war or cause devastation. When Dragons attacked, we didn't win by standing alone. Bosco found a balance to their turmoil by working with outside forces. And when dark raiders threatened our land. It was when even opposing guilds came together that we were able to fight them off." Jin would let the hum of his chest die down once she was done looking at it. The doors would slide shut once more. The whirling heart would fade back into his body and his arms concealed the gears and circuits.
"People came together. nations came together. And that is how progress is made. It's scary...but we can't let fear be what guides us. Fear of someone using a weapon against us. And let that fear cripple out ability to grab a brighter future. even now...I'm a Joyan man, helping stop a sickness in Talaz Lagar, speaking to A Bellan Ambassador." he emphasized that the borders were already traversed and that even in this conversation that were all foreigners to this land supporting one path or another within its borders. And now all that was left was to wait for what her answer was and prepare to defend his position should opposition come his way. But he truly felt that this would be the best situation, as he gave examples of the past and how all those conflicts consisted of people coming together despite differences in cultures and agendas to accomplish something fro the greater good of the people of Earthland.
His heart would be reaching right now if it still could. But even now, he felt a slight buzz coming from the mechanical heart.

- Talaz Lagaar Loyalist Attempt:
- Kaito had walked up to the area on accident but he watched the other two as his friend and faction mate made some kind of weapon and then watched the next guy just show off his body that he had let be defaced by the mad doctor of this island and Kaito knows that is still an odd thing to allow someone to do to ones body as they have no guarantee that the man can't just flip a switch and take control of the robot parts of their body forcing them to be a puppet on strings to do what ever he might want to force them to do and all he has to do is wait and when he has the populace fooled just take control of them and make them do as he wished and that is something Kaito thinks needs to be kept to this part of the world along with the tech of this place as it was dangerous and the world doesn't need to have more dangers out in the world to pick from them as it was not ready for the things of this place to be unleashed on the other parts of the world.
Kaito guessed that it was his turn to try and make something for the woman that she might find to be in good taste and not really body altering in that way and not so super weapon and he guessed that he would. The masked and cloaked man bows while putting his hood back his longer auburn hair spreading to free from it more toward his face and then sliding the mask that covered his face to the side of his head as he thinks this is one of those times that when he introduces himself that he should do it without his hood and his mask up. "It is a pleasure to meet you Ambassador Ratri. I am Kaito Todaro standing with the Loyalist Faction that wishes to keep Talaz Lagaar tech and things on this island, allow me to quickly make something that might be a bit more fitting than a weapon of mass destruction and far less invasive that having yourself turned to a machine, pseudo or otherwise." He stood up to his full six foot four height and he opened a portal reaching into it and pulling out a small table with rune like markings on it and tools on it and then he reached into a small bag on his hip and he lays out two strange looking smaller crystal looking things on the table and he focuses his dimensional magic into the special tools that he had on the table and he readied himself to begin work.
He took off his cloak revealing the sleeveless shirt that he was wearing under it and the bandages that covered his arms the Red Fairy Tail guild mark on his shoulder being slightly visible the bandages go all the way down to his gloved hands. Kaito then tied his hair back to keep it out of his face as he worked then lifted a chisel and a hammer and he started working on the two crystal looking things that he had set on the table getting them to a good shape and weight so that they would not really stick out unless you know what you were looking for. He grabs another tool and he runs it along the front surface and edges of the crystals making them glow a bit and he does it till they seemed to gleam as it looked like he was cleaning them up and making them shine and like he was getting rid of the sharp and unfinished edges of them so that would be safer and far better to look at.
He then reached back into the portal and he pulled out jewelry making tools and forming machine and he gathers the metals and he figured the gold color would work better with these to make them not so obvious if a woman of the ambassador's standing had them on her and he gets the measurements ready for them and then he flips the crystal pieces over and he grabs from another tool on the table and he carefully carves markings into the back of them which glow dimly with arcane element energy, then he cleans the back of them again so that it nearly looks like a simple piece of a crystal. He then uses the machine to help him warm and form the metal to make the casings and the other piece for the ear ring adding a clasp onto it, he then gets one of the crystals into the casing making it look like an ear ring and he makes sure to shine it as well and make it look like it was a decently priced piece even if it was not made of the highest end stones or gems. He makes sure that he puts a quick release on them as well so that he can show off the item that he had made and he hopes that it doesn't fail while he is showing it off and bring shame to the faction that he had aligned himself to.
He then puts the other into a more acceptable masculine style of jewelry that looked more like a pendant with a design on it and puts it on a necklace and hangs it around his neck and makes sure that it doesn't go any lover then his upper chest so that it is visible and so they can see that he is not doing a trick or pulling a fast one on them, then he looks to the ambassador. "My Idea is more of a long range communication with a covert appearance and skills, I know it isn't mega flashy or destructive, like having your body made of adaptable metal or a cannon that can probably make a massive mark in it's wake if fired at just the right angle. This will more help with keeping teams informed while being able to keep yourself safe and not having to lug around a big lacrima with forces or some of the smaller ones that eat up mana or lose connection and you end up with only bits and pieces of what was said, added bonus of not having to use your own mana as they power themselves with natural mana. I also added in with it a few perks, tap it once while thinking of the person you wish to connect to with one of these for sending your voice to them, twice for voice and image to show what you or they are seeing making sure of targets or if someone is following them same as the first thinking of the one you want to show the image, only they would see it or you, Hold it to change your appearance and voice, and if in danger hold and twist left to remove it to cause a high level body shield spell to engage to protect you in a pinch. This uses your body as a medium for it so it causes a vibration of sorts so that it is only you that hears and sees the things that it produces." He hopes that he is doing a good job so far as public speaking is one of his weaker points as a person and he is indeed nervous of messing it up but he knows that he has people counting on him and waiting for him to at least try and help gain some backing for them and the people of this island.
Kaito then hands the ear ring which for the moment was just clip on to one of the ambassadors aides and he asked them to place put it on their ear so he could show off the range of the object, he had just made in front of them and he walked behind a wall tapping the pendant once and spoke and the aides eyes light up as they could hear him talking to them through the ear ring as if he was standing right next to them and wasn't so far away from them. Kaito then shows off the image and the aide sees that he has appeared behind them and the aide swiftly turned around impressed as they were scared by the fact he had moved so soundlessly and quickly and the aide sees a different man standing there instead of Kaito and they back up and Kaito touched the pendant holding it turning back into his normal look so that it was seen that it was not a trick and not just him replacing himself with someone else to make this look less impressive than it really was. He felt that he had show cased all of it but, one of the functions of it and he moves himself and the aide to the side and he tells the aide to make the strongest spell that they could muster and fire it at him, the aide looked confused as to if they should really do this or not as attacking someone like this could and would probably make the ambassador look bad and end up tying her up in a lot of meetings on one of her people attacking a high ranked mage of Fiore.
Kaito waited as the aide made up their mind and then focused making amagic circle and they released a spell at him, Kaito in turn gripped the pendent turning it to the left like he had said triggering the quick release of the pendant to come loose of the necklace and covering him in a higher level full body shield totally blocking the attack that he had told the aide to fire at him. "As long as you keep the crystal detached from the jewelry connector it will sustain itself being able to keep taking hits till it breaks. Reconnecting it keeps the left over durability allowing you to re-unattach it at a moments notice if you find need of it again quickly and it will recover the lost durability in the reattached form. So if you are in a safe place it is best to allow it to recover in case you find need of it again sooner rather than later." Kaito thinks that this had gone well as a showing for this item that he had made though he doubted the want for it, he was just glad that he hadn't totally fallen flat on his face during the making or showing of the thing that he had made as he was nervous and was feeling like a small fish in a big pond. He hoped that the ambassador will at least see a use in the thing he made even if he didn't sway them or make himself really stand out as he was against some steep competition from Yuurei and this other guy that had shown up. He walked up and he collected the ear ring from the aide thanking them for their help and apologizing to them if he had been too pushy in telling them to throw a spell at him.
Kaito returned to his table and tools he cleans them up and puts his folded cloak back onto himself, then puts the stuff he used away back in his dimension where he had pulled them out of for this and then he makes his way over to stand with the others that had already given their showing of their items and he waits to hear who might be the side that this woman was to choose in the end he knows that he had done his best and that even if he failed to catch her eye with what he did he had done something so that was a bigger step for him and really more out of his comfort zone than he usually went usually but now was the time to wait and see what might happen.

The man began to build some sort of tech and then fashioned an earring it seemed. It did more than just aid communication though. It had a secret defensive capability as well. An aide fired a blast that was blocked by the earring. Jin nodded impressed by the multiuse that the pendant had. "Nice piece of work." he said softly, not wanting to disrupt the man's moment too much. After the new performance was done. Jin placed his hands in his pockets, and let out a quick breath of air.
"Pretty nice piece of tech you brought. interesting though...that another loyalist would come to represent the need for Talaz Lagar to keep their tech hidden, all the while sharing tech from one country to another, within the borders of Talaz Lagar. It really looks like...we are all on the side of sharing tech around here," Jin said with a smile all the while not so subtlety implying that the two men were acting more like third parties than loyalist by being so willing to share tech.

As the ongoing debate swirled, a calm presence entered the scene - Hyphen Oono Peaches. His arrival was marked not by a dramatic flourish, but by an understated entrance that carried an air of calculated intrigue. His posture, a subtle projection of quiet authority, drew attention without demanding it, a reflection of his carefully cultivated persona.
Jin's words lingered in the air, prompting Hyphen's attention. His voice, a soothing resonance, gently interjected into the discourse. "Ah, but my fellow man - I'm sure that you know the danger comes from the science behind its construction; not the knowledge that the device itself, exists." His tone was one of careful consideration, a mixture of understanding and firmness. Even though he had just arrived, he had already grasped the essence of the conversation. However, beneath his seemingly genuine demeanor lay the dexterity of an experienced sophist, a purveyor of ideas whose conviction might not be as genuine as it appeared.
"Your analogy between science and magic is intriguing, Jin. Both are indeed conduits through which humanity seeks to shape the world around them. But let us delve deeper into the heart of the matter."
His eyes lock onto Ambassador Ratri, exuding both understanding and empathy. "Science, like magic, is a tool - an instrument of potential. It is the knowledge that drives innovation, the same knowledge that can empower and, if mishandled, endanger. Think of a blade in the hands of a warrior. In skilled hands, it can defend, but in untrained hands, it can harm, kill. The true danger is not in the existence of technology, but in its uninformed and unchecked application."
Hyphen's words flow with rhythm as he continues, "Consider the regulations that govern magic. Just as spells and incantations are monitored to ensure harmony and security, science too should be guided by a framework that fosters progress while averting catastrophe."
"It's not an endeavor to stifle brilliance. But to nurture it. Responsibly."
A soft sigh escapes him, tinged with a blend of regret and resolve. "Regulation is not a shackle; it is a shield. It safeguards against the unknowable repercussions that even the brightest minds may not foresee. Our duty, as seekers of knowledge and guardians of society, is to ensure that the power of innovation does not outpace our ability to understand and contain it."
He shifts his focus back to the Ambassador, his voice imbued with a touch of urgency. "Ambassador Ratri, you carry the weight of your nation's future. Your decisions will shape generations to come. While it is tempting to be swayed by the immediate gains that the Thirds espouse, remember that your responsibility extends beyond the present moment."
"The Loyalists advocate not for stagnation, but for temperance."
