Kaito was taking another day of just softly relaxing and only taking on small cases and small injuries as there were things that he was seeing as a pattern and he figures that soon he is going to have to reconnect with other people and try to get the others all on board and see if he can get them to come and help or if this was all just a huge waste of time and a misplaced and misguide attempt to protect them from them self and a selfish wish to keep these people safe from those that would truly seek to misuse and mistreat them and the things that this island worked on but he knows that nothing can really be done to make it all work out and that none of it will truly be worked out as long as he lived as the people of this island seemed far too stubborn to ever try to back down and will probably be some other countries scape goat.

He bandages and give sweets to the children as well as medicines as he worried that they were going to probably not make it much longer if this island was to go to war but Kaito feels that he will never be able to truly help anyone as he just keeps tearing himself to pieces and getting nothing in return for his efforts besides fears that these children will be bastardized and turned into living dolls to be sent in to be pawns and be killed off once they are found out but he knows that there are just far too many variables that he can't account for as his head starts to ache as he thinks of the different ways that it can go if and if there was any way that he can maybe change the fate in real time, unlike his guild master he doesn't control time only dimensions so he would have to be perfect to the second if he wanted to avoid fate for them.

He keeps walking with Revy who is cheering up people they pass as Kaito looks so serious and is giving off a heavy aura that others might not be sure if they pick up or not and there are so many options that might just end up getting some one killed that it weights heavy on Kaito's mind. Kaito wants to help but there is only so much that he can reasonably do and say but he is unsure if he is strong enough, or even for that matter smart enough to save them from the dangers they might not even know loom so harshly over them like a dark cloud that throws the brightest of lightning out of it even exposing the darkness that lives around them but he is unsure what he will even be able to do and say to change it as he tends to them and tries to wear a fake smile but that just makes the people worry about his treating of them more.

Revy knows that no matter what she does that she will never be able to help them unless she can do something more rash and smart but she was not sure what she can make for them and if she would even have the power to change anything at all or if she can truly call her self the best companion for Kaito as he had so much and he deserved better but she knows that he will find the things that he needs in time, she will keep working hard as she pulls out tools and helps to repair the false limbs of people when they stop and get them back into working shape as she knows that it is what she is best at and that Kaito will need to make his own choices when the time comes to if they will keep working together or if she will just back down and not let herself fall into that rabbit hole and let the pieces fall apart as she clings to him.

She will keep fighting for what she believed in and that she needed to keep believing in herself and Kaito. She finishes the repairs and Kaito had treated the people they were attached to and keep them selves busy as they get a refill of bandages and medicine as there were still a lot of people that needed him to help them and help them to get back to their feet and allow them to try and see if there can be a happy new start if they were to choose it. Kaito doesn't force anyone to be treated by him or Revy but he does his best to make sure that they know that he is there to help and make sure that they survive and that he was helping not harming. Kaito had begun to wonder if that was really the truth as it seemed to be more of a gauntlet than a race that can be won or finished.

Kaito gets to a clearing where he finds people that are looking for their last rights as they were far too weak to keep fighting and he took his time looking them over and he realizes what this was and why it was taking place they had given up and for some reason they were holding on and they were here to shed their regrets and find their last peace and to pass onto what ever place they believed in, Kaito didn't believe himself but he can easily respect that they can believe and he would help them as they prayed and helped to give them the peace that they need, not all healing and cures can be done in this world and some times you just have to help them to let go and see their next life or find their comforts in standing next to the god, goddess or deity that they chose to take them in when the end came. After it was all said and done Kaito took a payment for his actions for today and he gathered up Revy and they went to go and wash up and seek their own comforts.
