Drakkon had finished off the fire mage who thought he had the advantage between the two of them. He was about to be on his way, but where the hell was he going? He figured he would ask one of the men that were part of the guild. He figured they had better luck gathering information than he did.

The Dragon Slayer would make his way through the forest of flames just for it to be suddenly put out. His area had cleared, but it would seem like something or someone had stopped all the fire from fanning out and dispersing it to nothing. Drakkon was confused about this, but he kept moving. It wasn’t his problem and it wasn’t his duty to think about how this happened. He would make his way out of the forest and when he looked around something started happening. Luci was on his shoulder and he was concerned.

The ground would start to shake vigorously Drakkon held his ground as he didn’t want to fall. The Dragon Slayer would soon see that the forest had been engulfed with fresh new life. Still, the nature that had grown in the place where it had been burned was bigger than him. He wasn’t sure what was going on, but there was a path laid out in front of him. He would shake his head when he saw this. The Demi-God would shrug his shoulder as he knew he needed to get out of there.

He would make his way through the only path laid out in front of him. While he walked through the place he would finally see that there was a turn. Drakkon would turn and see there was another chance to turn. Once he did that he would see the path in front of him was long, but he pushed forward as he wonder where this would lead to.

The dragon slayer would walk through the path in front of him as he wondered where it would lead him to.

“So, what do you think this is?” He asked Luci.

Luci would smoke his cigarette as he shook his head.

“Someone laid out a trap and now we have to get out of here. It’s just someone wasting our time.” He said to Drakkon.

Drakkon would hear this and he would understand where he was coming from. The young man would just keep pushing forward and it was then he would be presented with two paths. He looked at them, and he would choose the path to the right. He was hoping he had made the right choice.

He would push through the new path that he chose as he was hoping it was the right one. He would see a turn coming up and he would head to it before he saw a dead end in front of him.

Drakkon would shake his head as he didn’t like this at all. He would take his katana out and he would swing through the plant life in front of him. He would cut through it, but it would grow right back as if he did nothing to it. He would put the weapon away and he would rub the back of his head.

“It seems like they want me to get out the regular way.” He said out loud and he would make his way back to where he had come from.

When he got back to the path where he had to choose. He would go choose the path he didn’t choose before. The thing is, he had messed up and it was a misdirection. Drakkon would keep walking and soon enough he would notice that this was where he had started. This would anger him more, but at the same time, it would make him laugh.

This was truly chaotic and he was loving it. He didn’t like that they were doing this to him, but it was perfect. He would shake his head as he would retrace his step back to the two paths in front of him. He would move to the left this time. It was the path he didn’t venture off to in the beginning. He would move through the area without a problem this time, and it would allow him to see more options than last time. This was good, but he would make sure that he didn’t do what he did.

The last thing he needed to do was move through this maze, make one bad turn, and end up where he started all over again. It was why when he got to a spot with two paths, he marked the ground. He would go through a bunch of trial and error, but he was making progress that was for sure.

“This is interesting I wonder if we’re stuck here forever.” He said out loud as he kept pushing forward.

Drakkon wondered about this, and it had made him wonder what this guild had been planning. This had to be planned ahead of time. They knew that the forest fires might not be the answer, and then this happened. They were making sure that it would take them longer to get to their destination, but what was the reason behind it? He wasn’t too sure, but he figured he would find out eventually.

The Dragon Slayer would push through this as Luci was smoking his cigarette. It would seem like he was over it and was just something that Drakkon needed to do, so he could finally get out of there. Still, the dragon slayer was making progress even with all the mistakes he had to deal with. The man made sure he didn’t get lost on where to go next.

“I feel it, we’re almost out of here Luci. Just a little a bit more.” He said as he kept moving.

Drakkon would keep moving and soon enough he would see the exit. It was brighter than usual and he could see that the ceiling was not blocking the sunlight from his view. When he pushed to the end he wondered where to go next or if there was someone here ready to stop him. Still, he would notice that the labyrinth behind him had started to change as if it had turned into a regular forest or at least the forest that had been healed by magic.

He would shake his head and look around as he saw someone from his guild approaching him. He looked confused to Drakkon here, but he would relay the information to him. Drakkon had taken quite some time to get out of here and was late. He was told to go to Orchidia, and that was what he planned on doing. He would take his katana and he would cut a rift in front of him as he would walk into it to travel to Orchidia.
