Extra: Additional things for your appearance, such as tattoos, scars, piercings, etc. Personality Personality: Ambrose is an odd and complex figure. At first, he does not appear to be a deranged and psychopathic cultist that worships horrendous and terrible gods. The only thing “unnatural” about him, at least at first appearances, is his deathly grey skin and soul piercing ice blue eyes. Besides those two things, Ambrose appears to be a perfectly well-adjusted and even kind-hearted person with seemingly no malicious bone in his body. Ambrose is an odd person. When you first talk to him, you wouldn’t assume that he’s this deranged cultist that worships terrible gods that hunger for human souls. Instead, he tends to be rather kind, or at least comes off as being kind. He’s not someone to raise his voice in anger, nor is he one who easily loses his temper. Ambrose is soft spoken, often collected, and more often than not seemingly curious. In fact, when talking to Ambrose it would often appear that he has no sense of malice whatsoever. While he doesn’t appear normal and while he does give off weird vibes, he doesn’t appear evil. Likes:

History Ambrose {name} can trance his origins to the country of Seven. His mother was a priestess of Asclepius and famous healer, whereas Ambrose’s father was a politician. They lived in a city-state located on the Icebergian-Seven border. The city-state was often the victim of Icebergian raids, with the raiders often taking slaves. Ambrose’s father made it his mission to broker some type of peace and stop the raids. His mother often went with his father on their diplomatic missions. Using her powers to aid the sick and heal the wounded, and for a while, peace did exist. Unfortunately, the Icebergian tribes are too many, and their raiding culture too thick. At times, it appeared that for every friend they made an enemy also appeared. At last, his parents did not stop their mission to bring peace between the two countries. At one point, his parents even moved to the country of Iceberg, but they moved back when Ambrose’s mother became pregnant. But even her pregnancy did not stop their quest for peace and prosperity. Things changed when they discovered the {name} tribe. The {name} lived deep within Iceberg, away from other clans and secluded to most. They worshipped strange gods, darker gods, gods unheard of by Seven or for most of Iceberg. This tribe was a bit more hostile, at least, compared to others. Suffering from wounds and diseases that his mother and father had never experienced. Nonetheless, they still went about their mission and eventually the tribe tolerated his parents and her magic. Unfortunately, his mother, and her attempts to heal and bring people together, she angered the tribe’s Dark Gods and their priests. So, in anger, a shaman cast a dark spell and cursed Ambrose’s mother with a terrible disease that her magic could not heal. This was done in the attempts to either kill her or convert her to their Dark Gods. Ambrose’s life changed forever when he was ten years old. His mother, driven to grief by the fact that his father never visited him, committed suicide. And with no one to protect him or watch over him, the prince decided to sell Ambrose to slavery, and sold him to a slaver that operated a terrible mine. The mine, known as the Pits of Hashut, a place where slaves went to die. The priest curse took hold slowly and forced Ambrose’s parents back to Seven. As the disease took hold, their parents sought out healer after healer, doctor after doctor, priest after priest, but nothing worked. Fearing that she will lose her child, Ambrose’s mother cried out to the Gods, any Gods, every Gods, and pleaded for a cure. One God did answer. One night, one terrible dark night, his mother had a terrible dream. A dream of dark gods. Of a silver palace, a garden of disease, an infinite maze, and a bloodied throne. She woke screaming, but the disease was finally gone. A month later Ambrose would be born. There was a storm that night, the strongest storm that the city-state has had within the past one-hundred years. It was a bad omen, according to the religious men and women, but Ambrose’s parents could care less. He was born completely healthy, and at a strong and healthy weight. But his skin was pale, and he had a birth mark on his chest shaped like an eight-pointed star. Life went on. Ambrose was given an education, his parents continued their missions in Iceberg, and the {name} tribe reached out to them. For some unknown reason, his parents decided to move to the {name} village. A decision that would change Ambrose’s life forever, arguably for worse rather than better. The town seemed to have corrupted his parents. Turning them over to the worship of the Dark Gods and putting an end to the missions of peace. By consequence Ambrose himself came under the influence of the Dark Gods, but, their seeds had not fully bloomed. Again, things changed when the {name} went on to raid Seven and their former city-state and having grown tired of their raids the city-state decided to retaliate. During the counterattack, the Sevese army burned the village down. Taking the survivors as slave and selling them to a slaver that operated a horrendous mine. The “Mines of Vulcans,” was a place where “slaves got sent to die.” Ambrose was fifteen years old when he was sent to the mines and well, it was terrible. The work at the mine was horrendous. Slaves would be sent down a long and dark mineshaft that eventually narrowed out to the point that it became suffocating. They would then find these little holes within the mineshafts. These small holes were often large enough to get your hands through there, but in doing so the slave would scratch their arms on the sharp crystals that could often be found on the crystal walls. The slave would then grab the center most crystal and pull it out. Discord: What is your Discord Name? Reference: Who referred you here? Please state their username on the site. |
