Jai-Han
Eventually she would end up here, depending on whatever other problem she might have maybe happen or not intentionally caused while she was hiding some what in the background for the most part she had recovered for the most part and not really causing too many open problems.

At least for now anyway. But for the moment Jai-Han was not going to be a problem as she was lingering in the ports looking around at the various boat, Would this be a moment of reflection? Would she finally reflect and choose different things in life to do?

Not really she was actually just watching to see how well people guard their boats, Sneaky and wrong it maybe but she was seemingly just possible setting up to future plans, Not a horrible thing yet, But once one knows of Jai and her habits there was nothing else that could really be avoided aside from her own possible failures.

Zenith
Standing at the docks, Zenith observed the flurry of activity surrounding him. The dock workers and sailors were dressed more informally, but he stood out from the crowd in his fitted suit, which some may refer to as his Monopoly outfit. Although the outfit seemed excessive for what he was there for, Zenith had been accustomed to wearing it and felt that it offered him a certain self-assurance, albeit drawing some odd looks. A hired horse and carriage were parked next to him, the horse waiting obediently as Zenith reviewed the list of books and publications he needed to pick up. These goods were headed for Book Land in Magnolia, where Zenith would scribe copies of the books for sale at the store over the course of the following few weeks in between jobs taken at the guild. Truthfully it was a task he relished in. He already saw some new books he hadn't heard of that he was excited to read and some he knew about that he already knew that were coming he also wanted to read

Jai-Han
The world taught Jai-Han many things. Anyone will shoot you if you do something to them because your are doing exactly what you told them you where going to do, Anyone will sell you out in anyway. People come and go just remember the ones who stay and Everyone is expandable you just need find the right ones. Did this all apply to her current situation? not yet.

Jai was just trying to act normal. like she belonged here, After all any sign she was here to learn the guard watch patterns to steal a boat the old pirate way. She would get caught and booted out of here just as quick as some mad medic managed to pull a gun and shoot her three times.

As she spotted some one casually standing at the dock, it was a perfect chance to seemingly fit in more."So...whadda waitin' for?"Jai would ask this random man standing at the dock by himself.

Zenith
Zenith blinked, taken off guard by the sudden interaction. He wasn’t used to people approaching him out of the blue, especially not in such a casual manner. He took a moment to assess the situation, noting the woman’s appearance and the way she carried herself. She was...alluring. “I’m just waiting for some cargo to be loaded onto my cart,” Zenith replied, his voice calm but cautious. He wasn’t sure what to make of this woman, but there was something about her that made him instinctively wary. Call it introvert intuition. “Books and magazines, mostly. I’m bringing them back to Magnolia for the bookstore I work at.”

As he spoke, Zenith couldn’t help but wonder if there was more to this encounter than met the eye. The woman’s question seemed innocent enough, maybe he was overthinking it, perhaps she worked at the docks and just wanted to know. “What about you?” Zenith asked, trying to keep the conversation light while subtly probing for more information. “You seem like you’re waiting for something too.” He hoped that by turning the question back on her, he might learn a bit about which of this thoughts was more or less trueish.

Jai-Han
Jai would chuckle at this person's reaction because it was just kind of how she wanted this to go. But Jai was going to continue to just slowly dig in and continue on."I am doing some lookin' around for future business."It was the most tame way of saying your scouting out things to steal them later. But who needed to know that? not him it was just happen stance he was here and talking to Jai-Han.

But if anything Jai-Han over all seemingly interested in the books."Oh a book store eh? Yea got any books or tales about Krakens?"Jai-Han figured she would actually act like she was interested in this book store, Mostly she was waiting to see what all could be brought up about Magnolia she did not recall how long it had been since she was there and how much could have changed since she was there.

Zenith
Zenith glanced over to the crate being loaded onto his cart as she asked for literature about Krakens. With a brief glance at the titles, he took out the manifest. Regretfully, this cargo contained nothing on krakens. A few spell books on basic magic, such as water, fire, and a story called God of War-Bows, were among the books, while the majority dealt with more common magical creatures and folklore. There was nothing particularly regarding Krakens, however there was the renowned Adventure tales Bardtalamule as well.

After giving it some thought, he recalled reading a book about the subject back at the Magnolia bookstore. However, the closest item he had with him at the moment was something else. He extracted a book titled The Woman, The Myth, The Legend by reaching into the carton. He turned to face Jai-Han once more and extended the book. [b]"No, this shipment doesn't contain anything about Krakens, but it does have this one. The topic is mermaids. This fictional narrative narrates the account of a warrior mermaid and her adventures while examining the question of whether they are genuine or not. Though it's not precisely what you're searching for, if you enjoy tales about mythical animals, it's fairly intriguing." Even though the book wasn't about krakens, he still provided it to her to look at in the hopes that it might pique her curiosity.

Jai-Han
Jai was an experience sailor so when other things came up that were sea related and it was not anything as dangerous mermaids where nothings to Jai-Han their charm was just not anything to effect her."Yeah...Mermaids are simple to deal with, Just don't feel for their charm thinking they are going to be some kind of sea bound wife."This might hint Jai's met actual mermaids before. But Jai did not realize quiet yet these were books of Fiction.

Jai merely mentioned."I suppose actual accounts of meeting these beings. Are not something written about yet, Most people don't carry non-fictonal books about them." If Jai was smart she would actually find a writer, to take note of all her experience on the sea about what she fought and dealt with on the sea and take it to market but that was not Jai's interest.

Zenith
Zenith paid close attention to Jai's words, understanding that she wasn't just narrating tales from books but were actual encounters with mermaids. Her carefree demeanor toward them revealed exactly how much she had experienced and saw at sea. Zenith had only ever read about these beings in fairy tales, so hearing someone discuss them as though they were commonplace was almost unreal. "Wow, you’ve actually encountered mermaids? "I’ve only ever read about them in stories. Most of the books I’ve come across are, well, fictional. It’s rare to find actual accounts of encounters with magical creatures. I guess people don’t usually write those down, or if they do, they don’t make their way to bookstores like ours."

He took a second to reflect. "You know, you could definitely write a book about your experiences if you ever wanted to. Hearing about actual experiences people had with mermaids and other aquatic animals will undoubtedly pique people's curiosity. However, I can appreciate if you have no interest in that. Simply said, hearing from someone who has seen these things firsthand is rather astounding, given the majority of what I've read comes from individuals who haven't."

Zenith gave a tiny, supportive smile. He was thrilled by the thought of reading a real sailor's narrative of their adventures at sea, even though he realized it was unlikely. Even though he was a voracious reader, he was excited by the prospect of adding actual stories to Book Land's library.

Jai-Han
She would forgot talking about writing a book and continued on talking about other things within her life. After all she was about to continue on and talk entirely about her experiences with mermaids. You could tell she hated them because of well. It went as following."Well, if you ever go sailing. Watch out for them. Mermaid tend to kill people."Jai-han said so casually.

Even going on about."The freakin' sea whores, lure men towards the shore and trick them."Sadly Jai seemed more interested in just continuing things that annoyed for the most part."Just because they wear calm shells over their tits doesn't mean their friendly."Jai-Han at least seemed to show some knowing was good to pass on even if there was no reason for it. But alas she was just starting and there was always more things to talk about she was getting a good feeling for the guard spots here.

Zenith
Jai-Han recounted her experiences with mermaids, speaking with a casual disdain. Zenith listened intently, as this was not a common topic. Without a word, he took out a small notebook and pen, carefully writing down everything Jai-Han said. Zenith found the information fascinating, even if it was more vivid than what he was used to. He nodded occasionally to show he was listening, allowing Jai-Han to continue talking, as he was not the best conversationalist. Jai-Han described the mermaids as dangerous, luring men to their doom and untrustworthy, and Zenith diligently noted these key points. Zenith became absorbed in Jai-Han's tales, captivated by her familiarity and contempt for the creatures.

He had not experienced this part of the world before, but it fascinated him. Although the language was blunt and the descriptions were lewd, there was something worthwhile in what she was telling him, something that could be useful in the future. So he continued writing, allowing her to continue talking, silently appreciative of the information she was providing, even if it was a bit unusual.

Jai-Han
Jai was on a roll and she would not stop, After all there was many things one could hear from Jai-Han as she went on."I keep tell'em not to. But no their voice sounds nice, They look pretty and they can get it them em."Jai finally felt some one would listen to her so she was going to keep it spilling this stuff. While most of it could be considered factual or insightful.

"Then next thing you know..they drown'em or are slammin' their head off off rocks and dragging them down the deep to eat'em."Now Jai could have realized that not all of where like that, There were some mermaids that where actually friendly, helpful and harmless to humans."Even Siren's out there in the seas yankin' people from their ships too."How much more would he listen before it almost felt like insanity?
