Lily Knight
The sun shone brightly over the city of Hargeon, giving the city a warm glow on its busy ports as ships sailed in and out. The once very crowded sandy beaches were now quieter, with fewer people relaxing on them due to the cooler temperatures. It was an ordinary day, yet still beautiful despite that. However, Lily couldn't fully appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, her funds had dwindled to almost nothing, and she needed to work to make ends meet.

Although she belonged to a guild, it was her responsibility to keep her pockets filled with coins. Work wasn't always the most exciting thing, but at least this time she wouldn’t be alone to do it this time. A fellow guild member would be joining her on the job, which offered some relief of the workload. Lily had been out of commission for quite a while, and she was behind on the latest news and events that the guild had gone through.

She found herself waiting at the warehouse where she and her partner would pick up fish food to start the job. Humming a soft tune to herself, Lily watched the people passing by, her mind wandering. She wondered about the lives of the people she saw, imagining their stories. As she waited, she couldn’t help but hope that the guildmate joining her would be easygoing and pleasant. Lily wasn’t in the mood for someone high-strung, rude, or worse, someone unwilling to pull their weight on the job.

With a sigh, she looked down at her feet, mentally preparing herself for whatever lay ahead, hoping for a smooth day’s work.

Karina
Karina was excited as this was her first actual job as a member of the guild that had taken her in and she wondered if her guild mate would be some one nice or a muscle head. She hadn't really gotten to know any of the others of the guild yet, so this would be a good time to learn or so she hoped as she made her way along the streets and following the map in her hand as she had never been to the south of Fiore or even been to Fiore before from her country. He followed the map and headed around the side looking at the warehouse numbers as she needed to find the right one and she wasn't sure if she was a bit early or a small bit late but she hoped her guild mate wouldn't hold it against her if she was either of the two.

Once she was in view of the warehouse where they were to get the fish food for the woman that had hired them she saw here guild mate would she walked right up to and she put her hand out to the other woman. "Hello I am Karina it is nice to meet you and I hope that we will be able to work well together on this and future guild endeavors." She was trying to be professional though she might still be acting a bit stiffer than she was meaning to be.

Lily didn’t have to wait long before a voice pulled her attention away from her teal and white sneakers to the woman with violet irises standing before her. Straightening up and pushing herself off the wall, Lily happily extended her hand for what she assumed would be a handshake. As she got a better look at the girl, she took note of the features that stood out most to her, focusing on them as Karina spoke.

"Hello, Karina. My name is Lily, it's nice to meet you as well. If this goes well, and honestly it should, then we should go on more missions together." Lily said with a smile, though her words felt rehearsed or like she was reading from a prompt. Normally, she’d be more relaxed and charming, but after being away for so long, she felt a bit out of place.

"Today, all we have to do is deliver some food to a woman. I'm sure you already know the details, so this should go smoothly... unless, of course, some freak accident happens and we all get swallowed whole by a whale," Lily joked with a chuckle at her own ridiculous scenario. Obviously, that wasn’t going to happen, but you never knew, right? Leading the way into the warehouse, Lily approached the cashier and requested the food ordered by their client. The woman behind the counter retrieved the package from a shelf and handed it over to Lily, who thanked her politely.

"Well, the first step is done. Let's head to the next area." Lily said, smiling at Karina before leading the way once more. She occasionally checked the map as they made their way to the shore, where she spotted the boat they were supposed to take down the canal. Stepping in, Lily offered her hand to help Karina into the boat. If Karina took it, they’d row together to their destination. If not, Lily would keep the boat steady until her guildmate climbed aboard.

Karina
The woman looked at the other woman when she said the thing about the whale and then she spoke. "If we get swallowed by a whale I will do my best to help to get you out so don't worry." She was newbie and she had a lot that she had to prove and she wanted to make sure that she was clear that she would do anything to help a team mate in need even if it might put her out a bit like getting out of a whale would as she is not sure how to handle that kind of thing as she was still an adventurer and still new to this kind of thing and she needed to probably learn about whales and how to handle if you are swallowed by one. She didn't get it was a joke and thought that the woman was telling her that because it could happen to them and it was something to be ready to handle.

Karina followed along behind Lily and she wondered if she should be helping to carry the stuff or not but she would do what she was told and not get in the way the best that she could muster and when the woman helped her into the boat the woman looked around the boat and looked for what she could use around here if she needed to do something as she hadn't brought her gun with her or her armor as she thought this mission didn't have any kind of combat risk and now she sees that she was naive to have thought that and she should always come with her gear in case of this kind of risk in the future and she needed to make sure that Lily didn't come to harm or get swallowed by the waters or some monster that might live below the surface.

Once Karina was in the boat, Lily placed the food package on the seat next to her and began rowing toward the canal where their client was waiting. The trip wasn’t long, and soon enough, they arrived, greeted by a waving Raina. Slowly and carefully, Lily rowed the boat to where Raina stood and handed over the fish food package.

"Thank you both very much," Raina said before turning to feed the fish, still within view.

Lily watched as Raina fed the fish, the clear waters making it easy to see them swimming around. It was a simple and peaceful job. Although there wasn’t much small talk between her and Karina, Lily was glad to have her along for the quest. They picked up the food, delivered it, and watched their client feed the fish.

Once Raina was finished, she turned to the two and thanked them again before paying them and sending them on their way.

Karina
Karina wondered if Lily was okay with her saying that too her and wondered if she might not have over stepped her boundaries with the other woman but she kept a sharp eye out for any kind of trouble that might happen but none had seemed to come to the surface as of yet so she relaxed as they were pulling up to what Karina figured was their clients drop off point and it looked nice and she wondered how big the fish that come here must be as she was not really use to being on the water like they were right now. She looked at the woman that greeted them for them as they arrived to where she was and they handed over the food to her and Karina looked to the water as the woman started to feed the fish, the fish rushing at the food and the number of them just seeming to grow in front of them, and they left soon after being paid.
