Rhea

Rhea stood, book in hand, skimming through the intricacies of Talaz Lagaar's infrastructure plans. The Stellan would occasionally look up from the pages to glance around the Grand Harbor. Talaz Lagaar, it had the makings of something grand again, and watching the machines in action she couldn't help but feel an odd sort of admiration. A shiver ran through her as the realization hit home: everything here had been put into motion by technology far beyond anything she was or would ever dare to become. Robots, machines, steel that would stand and frame new buildings. If this was progress, it felt distant and almost alien.

The Sorceress had matured far beyond the woman she once was, her mind sharper now after being awakened of the Tome of Forgotten Memories, a piece of Kukulkan's essence, and the blessing of the moon itself. Magic had quickened her growth and broadened her perspectives. But still she found herself squinting down at these plans, struggling with the foreignness of it all. This was an area for Ikanbi, not her. And yet, if she sought to assist in the creation of something truly righteouss, truly rebellious, she would have to see it through. Her mind was an constantly evolving masterpiece now, and every day her magic prowess had been growing. There was no better way to use what the gods had bestowed upon her. It was their favor in her cause that propelled her this far, she'd be a fool to stop now.

All it took was a little studying and the Stellan would come to understand how these machines worked.

Rhea let out a soft sigh and slapped the book shut, letting herself drift into watching the motions as if she could perhaps make more sense of them from afar. She started drifting to the thought of Nahla, a young woman whom she had requested to share her company. There was something about that girl, something apart from the daughter of the High Priestess title--something the elf was eager to find out. Rhea looked towards the long metallic boardwalk, expecting Nahla's arrival. She wanted to get to know the girl, learn her story, her talents, and perhaps her ambitions now that she was part of Konstantin's new guild, Shattered Serenity.
