Yuuki walked with Yumi and Miyuki in their human form as they had already cast advanced metamorphose on themselves, the trio walked  through the small fishing town having been called into action by a request put forth by the town mayor to help get their fishing industry back up and running by slaying a sea monster that had kept the town's vital industry moored at the docks which was hurting the economy of the town the only problem is most of the ships captains and the crews were hesitant if not down right refusing to take their vessels back out to sea until the monster had been dealt with "I feel like this is a waste of time, all these seaman are cowards being a afraid of a fish." Miyuki said out loud and in a cocky manner not caring if the towns people or sailors over heard her "If you ask me none of em have any balls." She said with a laugh which caused Yuuki to face palm "Miyuki... we got to convince a crew to go out to slay the beast, saying they don't have any balls isn't helping with that." Yuuki said flatly "I'm just calling it like I see it." She said with a shrug "So vulgar." Yumi said with a sigh as they walked down the docks.

Yuuki sighed as he walked the docks with his companions as he wondered if Miyuki was right about the sailors being spineless cowards as every crew he has approached thus far had flatly refused to go out as they didn't want to risk their ship or the life of their crew. Yuuki sighed loudly after the last refusal "Told ya, they'd rather cower here at dock and hope the problem sorts itself out rather than be a man and face the problem head on." Miyuki said with a laugh while shrugging causing Yuuki to just shake his head and keep going from crew to crew rejection after rejection until finally he found a captain he was able to convince as the man had an older ship he was willing to use and possibly sacrifice if it meant that he could return to his livelihood and be on the water yet again, the captain addressed his crew and told them to make haste in preparing the ship for they had a monster to catch and kill.

Yuuki and crew waiting aboard the ship while the crew did quick prep work and loaded supplies and things they might need to take down the would be sea monster, although Yuuki had almost no experience on the water or even fighting something that was primarily a water based opponent in general however Yuuki was excited for the challenge. The ship left its moorings a few hours later with the sun hanging low in the sky the first hour after leaving the dock was peaceful if not for Yumi being seasick and Miyuki incessantly teasing her about it. Yuuki was about to make Miyuki stop when something big and heavy slammed into the side of the ship below the water line causing the entire ship to lurch to one side and sending Yuuki,Yumi, And Miyuki crashing into the opposite railing with a thud knocking the wind right out of them "The.... hell... was... that?" Yuuki asked as he gasped for air the ship swaying back and forth as it sought gravitational balance once again "I...don't...know...but... what...ever...it...is ...is... about... to .. be ..dead." Miyuki said between ragged breaths as Yumi almost choked as she threw up on the
deck between her ragged breaths.

Yuuki having managed to regain his breath and footing wandered over to the rail the impact came from to see a massive hole in the side of the ship "Well fuck me." Yuuki said as his companions having also regained their faculties wandered over to also look over the railing when Yuuki spotted a dark shadowy figure darting beneath the surface "BRACE!" Yuuki shouted holding on to the rail for dear life as the figure struck a similar spot on the boat the impact almost rolling the ship over this time but thankfully she righted herself quickly. This time how ever tentacles came up the side of the boat hunting and probing for things, Yuuki watched in horror as sailors were grabbed by the tentacles and quickly taken beneath the waves presumably to be devoured by the squid like creature, all Yuuki could do for those men was hope for a quick but painless death. Yuuki drew his sword and looked towards his two companions "This situation is beyond fucked up but we have no choice at this point but to fight for our life or were gonna be swimming back to shore." To which they both nodded as Miyuki drew her own Katana and Yumi conjured Ice harpoons.

Yuuki instructed his companions to focus cutting tentacles off or rendering them useless as he felt like keeping the crew alive was more important and also if they destroyed enough of them the beast may leave the ship alone and the area entirely killing two birds with one stone. Yuuki had Yumi and Miyuki team up so that they could cover each other's backs as Yuuki was nimble and fleet-footed enough that he could manage well enough on his own as he went about slicing through tentacles that found themselves in reach of his blade the amputated appendages falling to the deck of the ship and twisting and writhing as Yuuki proceeded to kick the dead appendages back over the rail into the sea. Yuuki and his companions fought this battle for a few hours cutting off appendages and leaving nubs and gushing squid blood all over the place, at this point the ship was listing badly to one side and was likely to sink if they did not defeat the beast soon or at least damage it enough that it no longer wanted to play and hopefully it retreated to some deep dark corner of the sea never to bother this sleepy little fishing town and its fishing industry ever again.

Yuuki kept attacking the tentacles until he noticed them coming up slower and in far less number than before which made Yuuki wonder if they had done defeated that many tentacles that Giant squid had either smartened up or was running out of tentacles for them to lop off "Were almost there, Keep it up you two." Yuuki shouted to his companions as he lopped off another appendage watching it writhe on the deck for a second before kicking it overboard and back into the depths from whence it came. Fewer and fewer tentacles were coming over the side by this point that the trio had regrouped to try and focus on the remaining tentacles and finally end this fight so that maybe they wouldn't have to swim home since an hour by boat could easily be ten to twenty miles off shore and Yuuki did not relish the idea of having to swim that far back to shore after this prolonged of a fight.

The trio focused on the last ten tentacles that were over the side of the ship they were all tired and worn out from the exertions of battle but victory was in site and it was the only thing motivating them at this point to end the fight with this beast. Yuuki Slashed through a pair of tentacles kicking the falling objects over the side of the boat in mid air as a fresh spurt of squid blood covered him as Miyuki cut through another two and doing a similar maneuver to send hers back over the side too as Yumi hit the last four with ice javelins severing the tentacles where they hit and also depositing the pieces back into the ocean where they belonged, as this happened the boat lurched to the side and the tentacles disappeared as Yuuki rushed to the side of the boat just in time to see the tentacles disappear beneath the waves in a pool of blood. Yuuki and his companions let out a cheer as the crew of the ship did as well, with the captain informing them that a ship was on its way to rescue them, The ship arrived about a half hour later and took everyone on board before scuttling the ship and taking the survivors back to shore where Yuuki and his companions could collect their reward and shower... Yumi however never wanted to go on a boat again.
