Personal Name: Sylvester Hercules Age: 17 Gender: Male Class: Trickster Rank: D-rank Guild: Fairy Tail Tattoo: Right Shoulder, Red Face: Sorey, Tales of Zestiria (the X) Appearance Height: 5'7 Weight: 170lbs Hair: Brown Eyes: Green Overall: Standing at just barely 5'7, Sylvester is not a very tall individual (for a boy.) He makes up for his height in personality–however, this is not the section to describe that, so we'll save it. He has a slim build, which facilitates physical movement and makes it easier to perform complex martial arts maneuvers; however, on this body of his is an exceptional level of muscle–he is capable of impressive feats of strength for someone his size. He has handsome facial features, and his messy brown hair frames his profile nicely. His big, green eyes are inquisitive and full of wonder for the world. He has two cartilage piercings adorned with light-colored feathers. His standard attire consists of a long, white cape which drapes somewhat over his chest and extends long over his back. Feathers accent this cape as well. Underneath this, he wears a generally loose-fitting shirt (the sleeves of which are accented by bracelets and buckles,) white gloves and loose-fitting pants in addition to white boots. Under certain circumstances where relaxation is necessary, he can be seen wearing short pants and a short-sleeved shirt; during formal occasions he wears a dress shirt, jacket and occasionally a top hat. Link to his full body (for reference) is here. Extra: N/A Personality Personality: Sylvester is a jovial, optimistic young man. He is frequently seen with a smile on his face, and maintains a positive attitude regardless of impeding circumstances. One of his major traits is his sense of humor; he is quick to crack jokes, especially when jokes are inappropriate, and relies on his wit to make friendships where his general sunny disposition fails. In addition, he is courageous, not one to show fear during intimidating circumstances; however, this courage does not lend itself to bravado. Sylvester knows when to retreat, and when it is necessary, he knows how to do so tactically and efficiently. When angry, Sylvester's rage is silent; he rarely explodes, but he becomes much more stern, and his jokes are more cynical. It takes a lot to get him angry, however, so people do not generally get to see this side of him. He is rarely sad, as well- however, when he does feel down he acts somber, makes self-deprecating jokes, and looks down when he walks. He waits until he is absolutely alone to cry, if he ever needs to. Only when he is with people whom he trusts deeply does he cry in front of others. In combat, Sylvester is a pragmatist. He utilizes his surroundings to assist him in his battles, and he is not above resorting to underhanded tactics if it will guarantee him a win. He is incredibly physically skilled, and has the ability to win fights through applying his skills in unarmed combat. He is a relatively inexperienced wizard, and his magic skills have not yet developed fully. However, he uses what he has learned intuitively to get an upper hand in fights, and one of his goals is to eventually master his practice and become a high-ranking mage within his guild. Likes:

Magic Magic Name: Wind Magic Magic Element: Wind Magic Description: This magic allows users to harness the power of the wind element to do their bidding. It has many offensive capabilities, as well as supplementary, self-buff speed and defensive. Users can generate wind from parts of their body, or manipulate the air around them to attack. At advanced levels, users of this magic can command tornadoes and cyclones to attack their foes, fly, jump to extreme heights or encase their entire bodies in a sort of wind armor. The magic is weak to earth-based magic and strong against fire-based magic. History History: Sylvester's mother died during his birth; his father took care of him on his own. He raised Sylvester on good morals and values–he always taught him to keep a positive mindset, show respect to all, to persevere when times were tough and whatnot. Sylvester lived happily with his father in their hamlet outside of Hargeon until he was 7; at that point his father fell ill and died. Because he was a minor, Sylvester was relocated from his father's home to his uncle's farm outside Magnolia, where he was put to work. His uncle showed a clear disdain towards the young Sylvester, strongly preferring his own son, Rafael. When Rafael refused to share a room with Sylvester the latter was made to sleep in a bed of hay in the loft of the family's barn. Sylvester's aunt and uncle were by no means nurturing, kindly parental figures. They were more authoritarian–they demanded that he work hard or face punishment–and so he did hard work and received scarce reward, but always remained positive in order to uphold the morals that his late father had instilled in him. Sylvester learned how to fight when Rafael would try to brawl with him; the young orphan often found himself getting the upper hand over his cousin. Every night, after a hard day's work, Sylvester would retire to his loft in the barn and gaze through a hole in the roof, up towards the stars; doing so helped him fall asleep. (On rainy nights he didn't sleep under the hole.) At 14, Sylvester's aunt and uncle sold their farm, and moved into the town nearby. Sylvester had less labor to occupy his time, and found himself wandering about the town more often. His aunt and uncle did not particularly care what he got up to; they focused more on Rafael. In order to make up for his lack of an allowance, he found ways to make money on his own. He participated in street fights to earn some cash. Through doing this he honed his physical combat skills, quickly learning how to hold his own against more skilled opponents. He used this money to buy his own clothes, and sometimes his own food. Towards the age of 16, Sylvester began to discover his magic capabilities. When his aunt and uncle found out he was a wizard, they kicked Sylvester out. They did not know many wizards, nor did they understand how magic worked, and out of their fear that Sylvester would retaliate or harm them, they acted in their "best interest" and sent him to live on the streets. Sylvester felt alienated and alone; however, he knew of Fairy Tail, the local wizard guild, and decided to spend his days there instead. He was taught to control his magic and utilize it effectively. Currently still a fledgling wizard, he eagerly awaits strong friendships and magical adventures in the future. |
