Gonna go ahead and post as it has been well beyond 48 hours. I have gotten in contact with the site own, Jyu, as well to get his permission to skip Winderlin King's turn.
Roku wrote:With him leaning in and her sitting straight, the distance between them was a mere fraction of a meter; Half of one at most.
We establish here distance of a maximum of .5 meters. This is important, as spells all travel at 20 m/s according to this sites regulations. That puts any spell at reaching you in .025 seconds.
Alice states in her post that she sees me staring at her neck. Fair enough- I never established where my eyes were, though it was fairly insinuated that I was making eye contact. Alice, however, was extremely distracted at this time with Ophelia missing, the issue with Winderlin and Roku's interaction, and most recently her frustration at herself over the individual known as Kon who she was comparing herself to. Quite a lot of turmoil to be taking the time to look at my eyes, track their location, and piece that together... But okay.
That's your prerogative, though I'm not sure I agree with it. Your character was quite literally gripping the edge of the table, fighting off a panic attack in post #23. I think this is then a fair point to make.
Alice wrote:Before anything else was being said by him at least, she noticed a noise that she had heard before. She frowned again, opened her mouth to say something and noticed his eyes not looking at her eyes but at some other point, around her neck. At that same time she already moved her head down and turned a bit of her face away, in the same movement she wanted to use her hand and forearm in front of her face. If someone was spitting at her, let her at least save her dignity.
Here is the real problem. You "noticed a noise that she had heard before," which you go on to explain to be the spitting sound of me sending my spell out. This is me, launching my spell at you. You claim that you frowned, opened your mouth to say something, saw my eyes not locked with your own, then as you noticed that you began to move- And somehow did all that in time to dodge an attack that would hit its target in .025 seconds? That is quite literally impossible, my dear lady.
So I will be calling the D rank hit to your carotid artery. The attack pierces 2cm deep, which is more than enough to pierce that vital spot. Seeing as how that nulls the entirety of your actions within your post, this means that my attack slices open Winderlin's windpipe, and then was thrown into the table, knocking the table over and both of you to the ground as you have lost your chance to react to those actions. This nulls your exiting of the thread.
This means that Roku is on his feet, Alice and Winderlin are on the ground bleeding out from this damage (which now is much more serious might I add). As for Ophelia- In your post, had it gone through, you would have stood up, activated your magic, stared at me, moved your spear to be held with two hands rather than one, carefully swung your sword with a quickness of 180 degrees (which doesn't establish speed, so I can only assume slowly and carefully since you're also making a mental note of not hitting yourself), and then noticed a sound behind you. This all would likely take at least 10 seconds, as you never establish that you are in a rush. In fact, in your mind it was:
Alice wrote:If someone was spitting at her, let her at least save her dignity. But it didn't matter, it wasn't just spit, it was a spell and her cheek got hit, which did sting.
Barely noticeable. Spit. You were indignant, but established no sense of
rush. So, since Ophelia had to have approached from a distance and come up with you perfectly blocking her vision as you establish that she approached and stood in a way to block her from vision of me (had you actually been able to stand), I can assume she's coming from quite the distance, and is currently on her way over to you to sing a song in which will heal both you and Winderlin. This means the little creature must reach within 2 meters of you, not 5 as it says in your spell, as that technique would be considered Area of Effect if I'm not mistaken- Something that has a maximum range of 4 meters in diameter around the caster. That is where I shall now start my post.
