A bit of time had past since Ylva had seen her language mentor. In that time she had learned so much more about the Fiorian language and had such a grasp on it that she could speak it well enough to be understood, even if sometimes the words came out in the wrong order. Ylva was thankful to all the people she had met but she figured it was time to move on to era, and reconnect with Erebus. Packing what little she had she set out from Astera, making her way towards Worth Woodsea during the early morning hours. This would allow her some safe travel, because she was sure this trip would take a few days.

It took her nearly half a day to get to Worth Woodsea. She was lucky to have a map with some small translations for her. The travel left her low on supplies but she couldn't stop, not in this forested area. She was told it was dangerous to be there during the night and since she still had some light to kill she would continue on the path marked out for her. According to the map her next stop would be a better place to rest. A place called Orchidia. There she would be able to restock and get some rest before continuing on. She was thankful to had gotten the rest that she did or she knew she probably wouldn't have made it out of this forest in one piece.

Dark had fallen when she arrived in Orchidia. She was tired, hungry, but mostly determined. With what little money she had she rented a room for the night in order to be refreshed for the morning. It didn't take long for her to drift off into sleep once she got into her room. Once she had gotten cleaned up and had a bit to eat she was out like a light until morning came. The next day was mostly uneventful as she restocked on a few supplies, hitting the road early with the sunrise. She was lucky to find a small group to travel with.

The group was mostly filled with women who hailed from her father's homeland. She was grateful to the women. They fed her and made sure she was safe as long as she kept the party healed up when they had to fight off the viscous creatures of the mountains. This was no problem for her and she was more than happy to be of use to them. On the way to their destination she learned alot more about the women and they even began teaching her more of the Fiorian language. As they traveled out of the mountains and into Crocus, Ylva was saddened by the fact they she would have to part from the group. She thought they would only lead her to the city and go on their way. Needless to say she was surprised when they promised to take her all the way to era.

Since arriving in crocus the group Ylva found herself in rented out a few rooms and they each went there own way for the most part. Ylva stayed near the inn, working some odd jobs in order to get jewels for a few more supplies. For awhile she hadn't thought about her family as her focus was geared more towards her own survival and what she would do with her life. She could feel the attention of her gods waning from her or at least she didn't feel as blessed as she used to. This saddened her but she had other pressing matters to attend too.

The group stayed the night in crocus and left the next day early in the afternoon. It was a little late for them to leave but the leader of their group assured them that Era wasn't too far off from Crocus and that they would make it before nightfall. With nothing but time Ylva went into questioning about the religion of Fiore, mostly out of curiosity and partly because she had been given a pamphlet while in Crocus. One person in the group seemed to be well versed in the religion, and soon she found herself entranced with the history and it's god. For most of the trip she would ask questions and listen to the stories of her travel companions until they reached era. The group would continue to move on but they promised to meet each other again.
