As soon as they arrive, he would take the other two and started to approach a nearby residential door and began to knock. As soon as the residents open up, Shichiro had pulled out a plastic bag and said "Trick or treat," in a mundane sort of town. He tried to sound a bit more excited about it but it sort of came off as bland and even threatening but it still conveyed his message.

The night was fairly cool and he could see that there were many other groups out performing a similar task to his own. Everyone around him seemed to be in good cheer however, several shouts of laughter and glee as children, young adults and elders alike all moved about with a purpose and excitement only rivaled by Christmas. He could see his own group a little further up, the light of day still shining upon them as they approached the first house of the night. He would let his old 'friend' Shichiro take the lead since he would likely receive some candy regardless of if he said the stupid phrase or not.

Decked out in a pointy witch's hat, a dress with a puffy bottom, and some pointy shoes and wand, Ylva was ready to cast a spell. She wouldn't be going alone and soon found the person she would be going trick or treating with. She knew him, well met him once, and that was more than she could say for the other people that they were suppose to be trick or treating with. At some point she made it with the group, waving them down and introducing herself before falling into the group and walking between the two males. Ylva's excitement could be seen through her smile, almost like an aura enveloping the group.

This was the weirdest thing he had done yet. It was official. "Ha-llo-ween..." he murmured to himself. What the fuck was a "Halloween". Back at home they celebrated the autumn season with a certain ritual. Of course naturally it was as dark themed as this Fiorian holiday. Apparently he was supposed to dress up as something spooky and walk around from door to door with a group of people he had never met in his life. To be honest he didn't know how the hell he was even linking up with them. The moon was bright, providing light for all the children to partake in the activity of tricking...or treating?
And so Vali; the half-elven, Icebergan, Desiertan Werewolf giant decided that the spookiest thing to a Fiorian as far he knew was a Viking. The white haired mage walked towards his group with a horned helmet and armor made of fur and leather. His costume was a statement in itself if you really thought about it. He was really a viking, but he also knew that this viking attire would be considered a costume. That was Fiore's superiority complex though. The silver haired male simply slid between the group and followed their lead- holding his bag out for candy to be dropped in.
When they left the first house, Val would be the first to speak."Honestly, did we need costumes? Our melanin is scry enough to these Fiorians." he stated coldly.

Shichiro saying the phrase was enough to net them all some candy. Looking at the small treats in his bag, he couldn't help but wonder how adults could play along with some old ass teenagers and young adults just knocking on their door for the stuff. Kids he could see, but adults? Whew chile the ghetto. He'd continue following along for now. Feigning along with the conversations as his friends hop skipped and played their way down the street.

" I'm not scary at all. I think I look very cute. At least that's what I was going for. I suppose I could be a scary witch too. " She didn't quite get what the guy said but she wasn't going to let her spoil her night. Pulling a piece of candy from her bag Ylva decided to snack on some treats for a little energy. She could tell tonight would be a long night and she didn't want to fall behind the rest of the group.

Everything about everything felt forced. Why the hell was Vali here right now? Where the hell were his parents- and actually who the hell was he? It felt like he was being forced to live in this moment right here, as if this was the only part of time where he existed. In other words; nothing felt real. He began to notice something strange. As he stood next to a group of kids he didn't know, his arms magically raised as his bag was tightly gripped in his palms. Vali looked down, then up at the candy giver who blessed his satchel. Thanks to Shichiro, this one was an easy house to conquer. However, Vali couldn't help but wonder... what the actual fuck was going on? It was like he couldn't control any of his actions, like he had only been a character in someone else's story. Quickly he shook the thought off, then moved on to the next house. He was so deep into his thoughts that he almost blocked everyone out. His eyes stared into the distance. He was zoned out... but he was woke. "Ha-llo-ween is weird..." he whispered to himself.

One down. Now there only stood three. The girl, the boy and Vali. Neither of them seemed to care too much about who they were. The goal was candy, not friendship. Vali nonchalantly followed the group to another house where they all begged for candy. Once more Vali said trick or Treat in a monotone voice. Then he was given 4 different types of candies. They all looked...interesting. The more candy the better right? Now it was time to move on. As they did the little Viking grabbed a candy from his bag and began eating it. It was good. Sweet, and tasted like something lemony. They were little beady candies, pretty chewey. Very addictive. From that moment he declared Skeetlez as his favorite candy. That's what they were called apparently.

Eventually they'd reach the party, his group long forgotten as he held up the young woman as she bent over laughing hysterically at some dumb joke or scenario that he had posited to her. The pseudo couple proceeded into the party with a purpose, searching out the closest source of alcohol to begin drowning out the night they had found themselves in. Enjoying each others company greatly, the two would spend the rest of the night drinking and talking, eventually waking up in the morning in the corner of the house they had found themselves in and after a quick wistful good bye, both would be on their way.

Not wanting to make it more awkward she quickly went ahead to the next house whether he accepted her offer or not. Ylva straightened her hat and knocked on the door with a quick " tap tap tap " of her knuckles. Once that was out of the way she quickly backed up and watched as the door opened. A tall man in a white suit greeted them and once again she got a compliment on her costume. She thanked the man once he dropped candy in her bag and Ylva moved to the side to let her trick or treating partner get some as well.

This entire ourney was strange for Vali. He didn't feel this Halloween spirit that everyone was obviously feeling. Especially the girl ahead of him. She was moving fast now there were only two of them. Val could care less though. She wasn't interesting anyway. With a glance downward the Viking looked at his bag. It was full but not as full as it could have been if he was actually into this. A ritual revolving around death or blood seemed more appropriate for this type of day. Did they not love their god enough to sacrifice anything? Instead they begged for candy in honor of whom or whatever they were celebrating. Whatever, he thought as he arrived at his final house. With a faint smile he held up his bag, saying nothing just like he had done when offered candy by the girl. Boom. With the last few drops of candy the holiday was over for Vali.
