The book has a blue cover with strange foreign text, the colour of gold etched into it. The pages inside are quite old with dust covering the edges but are perfectly intact. Spell:
Rank: A Mana Cost: 200 Requirements: Encyclopedia Elementica Type: Defensive Element: Arcane Range: Self Cooldown: 4 Posts Duration: Until broken Effect: Raising the Encyclopedia Elementica the user recites the spell verbally. The book will glow and a magical aura will surround them encasing them in a magical armor. The armor is capabe of blocking damage equal to x1 S-rank before it breaks apart. Rank: A Mana Cost: 500 Requirements: Encyclopedia Elementica Type: Offensive Element: Arcane Range: 20 Meters Cooldown: 4 Posts Duration: Instant Effect: The user while holding the Encyclopedia Elementica aims their palm towards a targeted location or enemy. The book will begin to glow as a projectile of magical energy is fired form the users hand. The projectile is two metres in size and deals A rank magical damage on impact. Rank: A Mana Cost: 200 Requirements: Encyclopedia Elementica Type: Defensive Element: Arcane Range: 1 metre from the caster Cooldown: 4 Posts Duration: Until broken. Effect: While holding the Encyclopedia Elementica the user recites the spell verbally. Magical energy will gather in front of the user taking the shape of a large tower shield. The magical shield is 2 metres high and wide and will block incoming attacks. The shield will last until broken as it can absorb up to S rank equivalent damage. The user can move the shield with their mind up to 1m around their body to reposition it Abilities:

APPEARANCE Height: 5'4" | 1.6 m Weight: 121 Lbs | 54.8 kg Hair: Red Eyes: Amber-red Overall: Iris is a slight girl who often keeps her hair in to two long pony tails, tying them at the base and middle to give sections to the tails so that her hair doesn't get all over the place. She normally wears a turtle neck style undershirt with some sort of outwear with cutouts in it. Tights around her legs are her preference. She does tend to dress for the weather of the region. Extra: Most notable is the pair of magical cuffs around her wrists like bracelets, able to link together at command of a rune knight. |

PERSONALITY Iris is someone that used to put on a brave face, and a smile, with every thing she did, even while working for the thieves' guild, she would get to the small jobs with the ut most glee, trying to be as happy as possible to not let anything she was doing get her down! She was social, she was able to be comedic, she was able to just let her hair down so to speak, until she had to start paying off what she didn't owe, and the amount was so vast, she never had the means to pay it off. She drifted slowly, secluding herself more often, smiling less, shutting down. She became someone different from her former self, an entirely different person who worked day to day to try and squirrel away money, paying off what she could and hiding other bits. Becoming a miser, paranoid, she finally broke. After that, she had come under the custody of the rune knights after being framed by her former employers. Becoming bitter, callous and stoic, she would remain stone faced in the most severe of situations while just going about her task to work off a criminal debt, so she could go back to working off another debt. The stress made her sleep less, become more irritable, disdainful. Until she was finally freed from the grasp of the rune knights thanks to an adoption. Now, she makes her time to try and learn to be a better person, trying to smile again, though, she still remains as blunt as ever most times. LIKES & DISLIKES, Likes:

HISTORY Born in Enca, Iris was born to a family that she wouldn't get to know beyond the age of ten. But, the time she got to spend with her family in that frame, it was kind, it was caring, it stood out a little on the weird side. Her family was linked to the underbelly of Enca, a thieves' guild they were a part of. Much like the guilds all over Earthland, they would operate in a big crime family, working off a debt from an ancestor and enjoying the life of luxury, of course, when they tried to sneak off with more money than their employers liked, they were swiftly done away with, leaving iris to operate their 'day job' shop. Inheriting the debt of someone she hardly knew, beyond filial relation, and having to work like this, she wanted nothing to do with it. In fact, she wanted to go live her life away from all the crime and such. Not old enough for thief work, her debt would accrue more and more interest. From ten to fourteen years old, she would get treated to all sorts of unsavory tasks and people to work with when she was of age. And that continued for three years. Having lived as a thief, and having earned some money she hid on the side, she sought to make an escape with a rare artifact, something that allowed permeation through physical and magical boundaries. Utilizing it to flee her town, flee the country, and make it to Fiore, she would be caught with a failsafe curse, and set up as someone who had stolen great treasures, turned over to the rune knights. Implicated, framed, and given a message in secret, Iris has to find her means of freedom from the rune knights, and her debt, before her former employers seek her out to drag her back home for a forced wedding! |
