As everyone listened to Achak’s plea, an unsettling feeling bothered Sterling. If what Achak said was true and his brother did in fact cheat during their fight, whose to say he wouldn’t do it again? The skeletal-figure sure had seemed energetic about the situation, so much so that Achak’s seemed less worried and more reassured. ”So, all we have to do is kill your brother? Family isn’t expendable, but as long as you’ve come to terms with that realization.” Akihiko chipped in as he raised from his spot. “Skelly and I will take care of your situation, leave it to us.”
”Surely you don’t think you’ll be able to find our campsite at this time by yourselves. Allow me to make myself useful, it’s the least that I can do.” Achak said as he struggled out of the couch. It didn’t seem like a good idea since in his current condition, Achak would be more of a liability. However, Akihiko couldn’t deny that he had no clue where to begin searching for the campsite. In a reluctant tone Akihiko replied, ”Don’t push yourself.” He then snagged an apple he spotted off a table as he left.
Outside, Sterling waited for Achak and the skeletal figure. Since they’d be traveling together for a while, perhaps now would be a good time to get to know one another.
