He had to admit a certain level of curiosity as to which family member he would be dealing with this time. No matter who it was though, he sincerely hoped the job would at least be marginally entertaining. He would still complete the job, regardless of how much fun he had, the difference was whether he would continue to work with the family after this point or not. Typically, he only returned to boring or uninteresting clients if he had absolutely no other choice in the matter. There had been some jobs he’d taken in the past that had nearly caused him to literally fall asleep, due to boredom. He really didn’t need to be dealing with anything like that anymore.
As he approached the large castle for the second time, he noticed a couple of guards placed outside of the gate, surrounding the castle grounds. As he approached, they told him to halt and identify himself. Mikajia took note of how differently the guards were behaving compared to the last time he was here. There was a general sense of laziness in the guards, coupled with a relative lack of concern with the well being of the castle and its inhabitants.
