With the expected elevation of one of the most premier actresses within not only Marigold, but also within Fiore as a whole, to the lead roll within the Marigold Theater’s latest production, everyone and everything seemed to be abuzz in anticipation. It was an exciting time, one even in which Vyra found herself enthralled by, if for no other reason than it being something new. It was interesting, to say the least, watching how the people within this sort of ecosystem, the actors, the actresses, the production people, the people who advertised it, everyone who was invested in some level or another all seemed to respond differently, yet similarly, to just the latest bit of news that had come out of this production. Not a single reaction was the same, not a single response towards the latest change up seemed to be like that of the previous one. It was fun, watching and seeing how it all differed.

But, the excitement that had come with this latest actress elevation seemed to be a mixed bag as far as the reception went. While most people ere thrilled at the news, believing not only that this would stand to improve not only the performance, but also their own reputation, the reputation of the theater as a whole, that it would only end up being something great for everyone. But the success was often a thing that bred jealousy. Though Vyra did not know it herself, there were no shortages of people within the Theater that did not find this to be great, viewing the long term effects of this, the nature of how this shift had taken place, that it was setting a dangerous precedent to the integrity and fundamental nature of their craft. They were actors and actresses, not murderers. The idea of celebrating misfortune did nothing other than make people not wish to engage in their craft.

When news of it reached Vyra, she had figured it was nothing more than some simple petty rivalry, some nature of frustration that was being exerted out in response to this change int eh casting. But as she came to know it, it turned out to not be that at all, instead being something that wasn’t exactly as complicated - though wrong to suggest that a rivalry within one’s profession were a difficult thing to understand entirely – what more took Vyra off guard was the fact that this bit of confrontation was not one that was between two rivals, but rather between a woman whom she had suspected to be on the side of being pleased with the change in the theater’s politics and their own parent, whom more than anything else seemed to be against this elevation of the star’s role. Per what reason, Vyra did not know, nor did she much ask. She just knew that this was going to be the latest in tasks she would be expected to carry out.

Solving a problem like this, it left a weird taste in her mouth, more than anything because it was involving herself within a relationship and dynamic that she knew very little about. However, it was also still a job that she was contracted out to do. With the jobs becoming more and more specialized towards the inner workings and affairs of the people who were in this theater, she wondered what extent it was that fell within the confines of the contract. Sure enough, it turned out that things like this, all of it was related towards the production and productivity; it turned out, unbenknowst to Vyra at the time, that this was something that happened fairly common during these sorts of productions. So the more offput jobs and crazy things that she felt should not have concerned her, actually fell within the description of her contract. With reluctance, she decided to handle this matter, hoping that it would go smoothly.

To her delight perhaps, or rather just something that she could not help but find fortunate, there was going to be very little, if any, direct interactions towards her and this woman that she was going to have to deal with. Instead, all that was required was simply her delivering a letter. Arguably one of the easiest jobs that Vyra perhaps had taken, not just with respects to her time in the Theater, but broadly speaking since she had begun taking jobs in the first place even, the nature of having to do things like help one person or another, handle some matter of varying degrees of difficulty and investment, there wasn’t anything of the sort this time around. Simply going to somewhere within the Theater, dropping off a letter, and then reaping the benefits for it, it was a welcome change and for Vyra, whom had begun to find herself more entrenched within the political structure of this entire Theater group, she was not disappointed by it.

Unsurprisingly, there were little to no sort of defenses or protections towards the rooms of the actors and actresses. Even despite the tragedy that took place a short time ago, it did not seem that there were people whom seem particularly worried about it, regarding it as a one off thing. Death was, after all, a common thing throughout the world and to suggest that it weren’t the case in Marigold would have been a falsehood. The performers as much accepted that fate, and Vyra was content to not draw further attention towards that point. Once she entered the room, it was a simple matter, just leaving the letter upon the desk just below the mirror. That was it. A simple task that was being called for and nothing other than that. Once the letter was placed upon the desk, she simply walked out and headed back to the woman that had reached out to her initially. Vyra did not know the contents of it, nor did she ask. All she knew was that that was the extent of her assignment, so once it was done, she collected her pay and went on with her day.
