Now that he had coated his body with his mana, he was sure he'd be able to hurt them with just his unarmed strikes in his current state. As the spirit lunged towards him, Gundar didn't bother to dodge and retaliated the only way he knew how, and that was to punch it. When Gundar extended his arm towards the spirit and made contact with it, he had indeed felt his blow was more effective than it would have been without the magic. However unlike the skeletons he had fought previously, it didn't go down in one hit, not that he expected it too. If it was the creatures responsible for all the skeletons being animated and what not, then it wouldn't have made a good 'final boss' opponent. Gundar would throw another quick jab with his left before throwing his right one more time to dispatch the spiritual creature.

As the spirits were assaulting them, Keita didn’t have the time to actually figure out how Gundar was going to dispatch them, but had faith in his abilities as a fighter. He was pretty sure in a straight up fight, Gundar would easily beat him. Keita was much better at subterfuge and strategy, at least in his mind, and he wasn’t the one to shy away from underhanded means. As the spirits came at him, he was backing up and avoiding them for the most part, stabbing his water dagger into their chests when he had the chance. It seemed to dissipate them as he aimed for where their hearts would be. After dispatching all of the spirits and making sure that Gundar did the same, it was a simple walk around the corridor. It seemed that this was a grave, and the final bit of this cave, so Keita made sure to map it out the best he could before motioning to Gundar that they should leave.

Gundar Darkforge
Delivering the next two blows towards the spirit making it fly backwards a bit and writhe in what Gundar assumed was pain. Afterwards it had violently dispersed into thin air as Gundar began to turn towards Keita to see if he was finished with the other spirit that had lunged at the two of them. After making sure all of the spirits in this room were done, he deactivated his spell and wondered if this was the final part of the uncharted territory they had come here to chart and it was time for them to make their exit. As quickly as they came, they had left and went back through the chasm to the stairs Gundar had made, climbing them up back to the top before leaving this cavern the way they came. He had hoped they were on their way to collect payment for finishing the map to this crypt before going home.
