Kishin received the champion's belt and prize money, but instead of accepting it, he decided to forfeit the belt to the former champion before Rodric joined, and left the arena. He knew that winning the belt and the prize money wouldn't bring him true satisfaction or happiness, and it was not his intention to become the new champion.
