When the call to arms was raised many had responded, after all the invasion at the hands of the Darkest Timeline invaders had led to plenty of casualties. So many people had suffered, not just in Hargeon and beyond, but what infuriated her even more was the awareness that among the leadership of these raiders was an alternative timeline version of herself. One who had succumbed to the darkness and embraced the madness that witnessing an end of a world could bring with it.

Perhaps it were the whispers of what this being had done to the people of Dahlia that made her feel all the more adamant about ensuring she would contribute to the defense of Earthland. Yet recent events made it clear to her that she was not exactly a frontline combatant anymore.

No, instead she had been at the back, closer to the tower where the canon had been stationed. Theseus' shout was enough to catch the attention of many people, herself included as she lifted her gaze skywards. Will was hesitatingly hovering at her side, not entirely certain of when he would have to contribute to the conflict himself. However, the collection of mages that were flying toward the tower made it clear interception was needed.

"Time to test these boots~" Esperia chimed softly as she tapped her feet on the ground and suddenly felt the surge of the wind energy coursing through her boots. A few hops and she was sky bound, trying to figure out how to best contribute to this battle.

"Why not let that cannon of theirs have a little nip in our mana reserves?" Lilith's suggestion made Esperia decide that for the time being that would indeed be the best course of action. She raised a hand sideways toward the cannon, feeling her mana being actively drained from her body as she looked at the infantry up ahead. So far it seemed the frontline was still holding, so instead she focused on the thing she could already contribute with. Hovering over to Theseus she clasped her hands together in a makeshift prayer gesture, a purple magical circle appearing underneath her that rapidly expanded up to 16 meters around her, covering Theseus and whoever else had been stationed in a protective layer of mana.

"May Gaia watch over you all." Esperia whispered softly while she felt Lilith stirring in her mind. "Pfft~ Acting like a sweet little priestess when the blessing was granted by the Demon Queen of Debauchery? We are surely being cheeky today!"

Only time would tell how this battle for Earthland's fate would turn out, but as one of Gaia's Champions she wasn't going to sit idle when people fought for its future! No, to sit idle and do nothing at a time like this would go against the very nature of the blessings she had been given: To only intervene when Earthland's future was at risk. That was the sole demand Gaia gave in exchange for her powers, and surely this qualified as such a moment?

Well, when Jikan decided to visit her home country for personal reasons. She really got herself into more than she was going for. Two new faces, embarrassing herself in front of Miriko. And now, a dark worlders in her home. Her home home; the soil that twisted and grew her. Her family and their desperate legacy.

"Tch", it was annoying. It was not liked she cared for.most of them. Teachings, meaning, or people. She barely had anything in her heart for the country. But...the thought of it being pulled and twisted like a play thing stung her. A mark against her pride and spirit almost as much as the threats of harm to Orchidia and Sleeping Calamity.

She refused it. Refused all of those in the dark world wanting to burn what was hers and make her kneel...

Oh how she just wished she was able to meet her counterpart. To fight and conquer her and make her feel the mighty she held. Which Jikan was the purest form she did not care. She would be on top in the end. But such a person was hiding well beyond Jikans means to find. And her own attempt at fighting off other invaders had been...semi successful. Like always, her goals made a path to an end and this was just one of them.

On her Duhlin mount Maxx Jikan came, under the low hanging wind that barely stiffed above the land of battle. Down in her gears, head covered in metal and body in black and white cloak she jumped off, whistling for Maxx to leave as she let herself land in front of a line of  Minstrel of soilders.  Her voice ringing out to them in their native tongue. "If this place is in danger. Even I, can't sit by and let them do what they want...", she said while drawing out her sword before pointing it down to the ground. A line, she would not let one enemy cross it. Her other hand reached back as it rested to her side. If that Cannon needed mana, she would give every drop as long as these insects learned this lesson! Yuurei had been fighting against the Dark Universe ever since they had appeared from the ripple portals that had appeared throughout Fiore. It was interesting and annoying, but satisfying when they were defeated. He had been getting stronger since they had destroyed the steps to the workshop, and a few other stuff throughout Fiore. He would exact revenge, and he had done just that; the Seraphim was far stronger than the majority of the Dark Raiders that appeared and he would hope to help out with closing the portal.

Of course, he wouldn’t go into this alone. The hunter had brought one other person who was with him through it all. From the lost pages of the civilization to the defeats of the invasions over and over again. There Renji stood on his shoulder as they had made their way to Minstrel. A place that he had been to a couple of times due to his relations with his guild and the other countries.

Their journey there only pushed them due to the king of Fiore being there. He figured he would join in on the action, so he could meet the king even if it were brief, and show them how much power Fiore had on their side. One thing was for sure, nobody had beaten the Dark Raiders. Yuurei, Brone, and Kaito had fought against themselves only to take them out but was it the same for the others?

Yes, he had brought Renji with him, but that wasn’t the only person he had joined this with. He had worn his berserker suit that covered up pretty much everything. His helmet was held by Renji for the time being as he would magically place it on his head when the time came. The choice of weapons that were within his grasp was simple, He would have his Zabimaru in his left hand, and he would have his Gae Bolg ins his right hand. He decided that if he wanted to get the most enemies on the battlefield, it would be those two.

What excited the most about this was he would get to see what two of the strongest mages in Fiore were capable of.

“Well, this is going to be fun if I say so myself.” He said to Renji.

Renji would chuckle a bit as he would look at Yuurei.

“Please put the helmet on and focus.” He said to Yuurei.

The Seraphim would chuckle a bit, but he would listen to his partner. His Drakkon Helmet would leave Renji’s hands and appear on Yuurei’s head.

They were by the cannon as they were going to supply the special beam cannon with their mana. It was nothing harsh as he had enough to give while fighting the army from where he stood. While waiting for things to begin, he would hear Theseus speak and he shook his head because they thought that was the best thing to do.

Yuurei would fly into the air, using his cape as it shined bright with light energy around it. He would look at the enemies once he was fifteen meters in the air and he would toss his Gae Bolg to one of the enemies. If it misses, it will just continue to chase after the person until it hit them. Of course, he wasn’t done there. Yuurei planned on making sure that nobody would be able to come and destroy the cannon or harm anybody around it.

His Zabimaru started splitting apart until there were six pieces of it levitating with the air. From there, Yuurei would launch all six pieces at different enemies as well. Then it was his grand finale and beauty to the power that came from Fiore. His eyes squinted within his helmet and a charge of bright arcane energy would shoot from his helmet and toward 100 meters away from him. His aim was the enemies that were not being targeted by any of the weapons he was using.

He had spent a lot of mana doing this, but it was enough that he could do that and give up mana to fill up the cannon.

Kaito heard about some big plan to take on the portal and finish the invasion off for good but Kaito has no idea how they plan to do it but he guessed in the end he started it so he might as well help to end it as this was in some small part his fault to start with so he needed to make sure that he was there. Kaito wondered who else would be there and if they were going to be strong mages or someone of the lacking side of the fence as it seemed that Kaito had been seeing more and more of those that lacked the footing to stand lately and that was worrying as this sounded like it was a mission only the highest ranking and strongest should be on so that it didn’t get half assed and risk the whole mission from collapsing in on them all and risking the countries farther than it had already been risked.

Kaito was more confused to why his sword seemed to ache and pulse in his hand as if it already knew something or it knew of something that he did not was it fate he was pulled here or was it just his guilt about being the one that caused this whole thing he had to wonder. He knew he had not wished to turn back after all of this traveling but he also knew that something didn't quite feel right with this all, like he was being pulled along by an invisible thread of fate that he didn't under stand but was going to have to hope to understand in the end as he felt he needed to be here and to help those that came before him in case of the others getting over whelmed so that he might help to keep attacks from hitting what he was seeing was a massive weapon and he now wondered how they were able to get that weapon and who thought it was a smart idea to have it brought her as this might just be a trap but his sword seemed ready to fight and take on the challenge so Kaito rushed forward and flew up into the air to help fight off the attackers ready to catch any stray shots that might go toward the weapon and risk this missions failure by the hands of what might just be the back lines of the invasion's forces. He can feel the cannon absorbing some of his mana so he knows that he is going to have to use his magic sparingly as to not run out before the cannon was fully ready to fire. Kaito swings his sword at the flying enemies hitting those dumb enough to not dodge or move from the strike and uses his shield to block spells and save his mana as his shield is study and unyielding as he is in his moment as his sword seemed to feel nearly like it had a heart beat in his hand.

It was fortunate she had decided to stay near the tower, especially once the others had arrived. The first one to arrive was a woman, one she had only heard about in some rumors, but when her gaze settled onto the stranger the blessing Gaia had granted her told her enough. It was Jikan, and their presence alone already was enough to make her lips curve into a smile. "A surprise, but not an unwelcome one. I guess the King did offer to pardon these who tried to aid the people in the battle against these darkest timeline invaders."

A soft hum followed, as she watched the red-haired warrior mage join the others who had been on the frontline. Even if the soldiers had done a good job at preventing the raiders from breaching the frontline and assaulting the tower, leaving most of the threats to be airborne ones, Esperia did ponder what purpose Jikan had for joining the battle. From what she heard about Sleeping Calamity she doubted they were the type to care about the opinion of the kingdom, or about the pardon the king had granted them. Were they here merely for a fight? Or was there a more personal reason for their participation?

Still, her attention was soon brought toward one of the airborne raiders, a man clad in armor who came charging down on some sort of ethereal creature resembling a corrupted Pegasus. However, before she had the opportunity to raise her hands and cast a spell against the approaching threat a flash of crimson entered the side of her vision, and like a shooting star a weapon of some sort pierced the flank of the raider, leading Esperia to blink in bewilderment as raider and mount came crashing down toward the ground. "Was that Gae Bolg? A weapon of legend... I wouldn't be surprised if--- yep should have expected as much~"

Esperia's gaze focused on the arrival of the Seraphim whose presence alone already caused the Demon Queen of Debauchery to materialize at her side as an ethereal image only she could witness, one of Lilith's preferred methods of communication. "Eww! A Seraphim, and this one is radiating with power. I hope you're not expecting me to corrupt them cause I'm not touching him with a seven-foot pole. Sure his soul might be rich in mana but I get the feeling if we try to devour him we get a stomach ache." To which Esperia merely chuckled as she landed back on the surface near the tower's base.

"I genuinely hope it never comes to that Lily~ I'm afraid that if we had to fight him, it would us being screwed the unpleasant way."

The final mage to make his entrance was Kaito, the martial prowess of his swordsmanship being noted, although Esperia was more intrigued by another detail Gaia decided to bestow onto her, which made Esperia ponder for a bit. "So that is where the power of the Dimensional dragon disappeared to~"

Once more the cannon seemed to be charging up, draining more of her mana as she observed the battlefield and waited to see who would be in need of any healing.

Sword in hand, dust scraping off of the edge of Senbonzakura as it was lifted and twisted forward, Jikan held her position as she saw the lines shift and come from in front of her. Enemies to the front, and a bit of a boosted although eerie Minstrel army behind her. Someknew who she was after all, and some knew who she claimed herself to be in Fiore. The emotions or thoughts of such not really matter to most though. This was beyond battle right now, a war. The survival and prosperity of their home country was on the line. If she wanted to parade around as someone else. Something else, the higher up could care less as long as she brought results.

The enemy was on the move, ready to charge in a coordinated assault to dispel Earth lands stand against their organization. That cannon. It was a danger to their conquest; and thus needed to be removed. If the opposing force knew exactly what it was, it was unknown to Jikan. Perhaps they thought it was a powerful weapon to turn the edge of battles, wiping out their entering brigades as soon as they appeared, perhaps even damage the powerful invader generals. Or maybe, they managed to get the deeper details of the weapon somehow? Broke down the magical understanding and history; or had such a weapon in their own world. That could close this possibility of magical portals distorting space. Either way, a final confrontation seemed to be at hand.

And my oh my did it start with a bang! Before Jikan could shift her body forward to collide with the swarming invader troops, it seemed that the party had truly arrived to the show! From her peripheral view, Jikan thought she caught a motion. Taking a quick glance above a cladded in heavy armor charged in from above, on top of some beauty twisted creature before being shot down. A flashing crimson streak, dropping both to the ground with an easy quake. The sound of a cape flapping in the wind slightly grew as light energy trembled in the air carried on by the man’s mana. Yuueri Starlight. Sword in hand that magically broke apart before floating in the air, shooting out in a wide arc slashing at several directions in a pinpointed calculated move. All before a bright arcane bream of energy came. Shooting forward traveling far out of the way. The beam passed over from where Jikan was, her eyes gleaming through her helmet to see where it landed. Magical barriers trying as they might to do something, but due to a lack of power of time, fruitless.

“Oh? The commander of Paradise Dawn is here? Well, alright then let's run wild!!”, as Jikan said this a swirl of wind smashed! A number of flying enemies approached him, daring to clash with his might before being forced back. Traveling backwards before crashing into others like a domino effect. Armored knights falling off or hanging on to their mounts by a loose arm. Others who were far back managed to avoid this though, calling their mounts to a stop before the stockpile of a ruined formation could be started. From the ground a few quick thinking blasts of fire magic came his way! Only to be blocked as Kaito shifted and quickly moved his shield to brace against the upcoming magic.

Well, that was most certainly her cue then. Lowering her stance Jikan swung her sword forward as she took several steps forward. A slow monotone waltz before gaining momentum. Her left arm lifted up her sword before bringing it down, slashing into the ground causing a piece of the earth to fly upward. Titling the very soil the opposition stood on as they slid. Helpless in a descent to meet Jikan in the epicenter. With a soft press to the land mass, Jikan grunted before kicking the landmass up while traveling up. Beaming up in a straight line as she sliced, diced, and clashed her way for 22 meters. When Jikan reached the top and jumped off, the pieces of earth launched. Rocketing against the ground level magic of the enemies magic users. Not taking away their power but making the impact of the spells go off ahead of their intended targets!

Up in the air falling to the ground Jikan's Calamity cloaked shook as she landed, the Minstrel army surging forward through the debri and fog cloud of turned soil. Roars as fierce as lions as a section of warriors let rain a wave of arcing lightning from above aiming to let the songs of battle truly begin! Jikan sped forward, a red light shining through her helmet as she continued to press on.

Yuurei would watch as his attacks went wild. The destructive force behind it would grab the attention of his peers. He would crack his neck and everything from him would calm down. His Gae Bolg would appear in his open hand as it had landed its mark. The pieces of Zabimaru would come back to him as they had completed themselves to the sword that they were. He would see Jikan had made his moves, and he could see that the woman had a new weapon in her hand. It would seem like they had grown since the last time they encountered them. That was good to see, and it would seem like paying attention would possibly cost him. He would see a bunch of spells coming to him, and he would block them as his Gae Bolg would enter his pocket dimension and his Urdurain would be hit as he pointed in each direction of the spell.

His Arachnida allowed him to know where the danger was coming from. He would lower his shield when the danger was done, and it would disappear within his school bag, and a weird yet unique gun would appear in his hand. He would look at the enemies around the immediate area and he would shoot two of the soldiers coming his way. They would find themselves falling from the sky from the shoots, but they were a distraction.

He chuckled when he sensed the danger that was near him. He didn’t see them coming, but did it really matter? His armor would start to show the aura and anger that it had within itself. Soon enough, he would release the energy that it had built inside. The soldier was close, but the energy that had come out of his suit was strong enough to put the man into a state where nothing could be done.

The Seraphim would see this and he figured it would be to unleash Zabimaru.

“Awaken, Zabimaru.” He said as the sword would begin to change its form.

When it was done, the sword had become a long bony tail that trailed behind Yuurei like a sash. The tip of the blade had a serpent’s head. The soldiers there were confused by the sudden appearance of this weapon, which was fine. He would swing his blade straight at them and then it started stretching and it would slam and hit a soldier that was thirty-five meters away from Yuurei. The Seraphim was using them from a range aspect and it was because he didn’t want to be too far away from the cannon.

“I think it’s about time that these guys go back home, don’t you think Jikan and Kaito!” He said to them.

He knew there was another person there, but he didn’t know who they were. Yuurei would look over to the rest of the incoming soldiers. It felt like they were never going to stop coming, but he could keep going for a while.

Kaito looked to the sky and kept himself moving as it seemed all hell had broken loose as he paid no mind to the others that were there his only concern was that of keeping the cannon safe and not getting himself killed. He kept flying at a decent speed and he curves through any one that dared get close to himself or the cannon he was conserving his mana in case something bigger was to rear it’s nasty head at them so the cannon absorbing mana didn’t make him come up short in the end he kept himself focused and his eyes firmly on the prize as it was probably only a matter of time before the cannon goes off and them have to make room or protect anyone caught in the cross fire of the cannon.

Kaito knows these people he is fighting and beating aren’t the people he knows from this world but seeing their faces and hearing their voices still hurt Kaito on a deeper level as they were still people. The voice in his head is saying to kill them but Kaito isn’t listening as knocking them out was working just fine for him as it is hard to tell who would miss them on the other side as they were different and they had a lot to live for maybe. From what he had heard they were here to save their own world but he couldn’t be one hundred percent sure on that to be a fact or not so he was just going to keep on going and doing his best not to fall behind them if he could as he was trying hard not to lose track of the raiders attacking them.

Kaito did steal a glance back as he felt the cannon take another chunk of his mana for it’s own and he knows that this would probably only take another couple of charges to get the cannon up to is full load, he still is unsure how they had gotten a weapon like this one and if this draining of them was a defect or if it was a intended design thing but it was weird to have a weapon that weakens the defenders of it like this cannon had been doing to them pretty much the whole time, he knees a few others in the gut and looks around for where the big guns maybe coming in from, as they need to make sure they don’t get any clean hits on this weapon before it is able to release it’s heavy load of energy into the portal hole.

Esperia had to admit she was mildly amused at the current chain of events. Not only did Yuurei and Kaito's arrival make it look more like a one-sided slaughtering, but Jikan's excited exclamation to Yuurei and the lack of a response to her earlier statement made the Demon Queen hum softly. "Being a healer is such a thankless job when everyone is being so flashy. Perhaps I should go and get some tea and biscuits with Theseus while they wipe out the entire army~"

Yet it seemed that plan would soon be disrupted by a new swarm of raiders. It was like Yuurei had predicted earlier: Cut down one raider and two would come to take their place. It was clear that the only way to end this invasion was by means of closing the portal by firing the cannon into it. As the new legion of mounted raiders approached the group.

Perhaps tea and biscuits would have to wait.... Raising a hand toward the encroaching force Esperia allowed her mana to flare outwards, a purple colored orb emerging in her hand that she then clenched firmly, causing her healing spell to radiate in a sixteen meters radius around her. Anyone caught in the area of effect would find themselves oddly invigorated and healed of possible injuries, but more disturbing were the effects it had on the approaching raiders. mount and rider alike were starting to shrivel up, as if the very essence of life was being devoured till only carcasses and skeletons remained, which dissolved into dust shortly afterwards.

Raising a hand toward her mouth she tried to stifle a yawn and turned her gaze back toward the canon, allowing it to leech more of her mana while she turned her gaze back toward the group. "I guess tea time has to wait... Alisa will not let me hear the end of it if I don't pull my weight at least a little~"

Indeed, there was no doubt she would get told to take such a fight seriously, even if the demon in her would have to do its utmost to not be tempted to nom the cannon instead. But perhaps... just perhaps she had an idea to make this a bit more entertaining. A few steps forward were made as she seemed to clench her hand around something, something that till now had remained invisible.

No, perhaps it was still a bit too early to bring that one out. Surely the trio of fighters still had a lot of tricks in their bags to throw at the raiders. So instead she decided to continue playing the role of a nice little pocket healer.

"Judging from the density of mana that seems to be gathering the cannon should be ready to fire soon. Let's hope we won't be surprised by some unpleasant visitors before it can go boom at that portal."

For now it seemed that at the very least their forces were still holding the line.

"By choice or by force. They WILL be going back to their own world today. Even if I have to throw them into that portal myself!", Jikan roared with gusto calling out a response to Yuueri's words. With the likes of him and Kaito Todaro of Fairy Tail was here as well, well. A bit of a fire was lit within Jikan even more. She really wanted to cut up and show these fools the might that was within Earthland! Her feet slide to a stop as she positioned herself, pressing her footing down on her tools as she flicked her sword in an arc around her body. Knocking away the extend spear strikes that came to meet her. The air slicing against the edge of her blade before she bent her elbow, extending the blade to poke forward forcing the steps of a solider back.

Eyes forward to the foe before her she continued to speak. A lively voice only truly shown when in the middle of combat. "Esperia is it? If you are as much a pain to fight than your counterpart. Then having you here shall be a bit entertaining". She then sliced her sword up, breaking the wooden attachment that held a golo weapon that was reading its strike by a female warrior. "By the way... I can careless about the King's pardon. If anyone wants to take it they can. I. Am fighting because I choose to. I won't let these people walk over what I have created nor try to control me". It was simple as that really. Why let a counter part of herself control and destroy what she held? She. Would be the dominate one. And she would not let anyone threaten her family by destroying this world or sacrificing it as pawns for theirs. Not one bit.

All she had to do was wreck havoc on land. Run amock and dwindle the numbers of the land troops alongside the Fiore-Minstrel forces. Yuueri was doubling down with handling the air while being affective on land as well. Using a multiple of weapons and abilities to do such a thing; his active trick up his sleeve was changing his long sword to a further level. A long bony trail sashed around his body, the tip edge of the blade becoming a serpent’s head. The long reach and large bone of the weapon now used to stretch and slam about the forces approaching. With Kaito holding out and knocking people out with ease as well it would be much easier than it should be. It was noticed that he was not killing anyone, unlike Jikan. Good heros and all. She wondered though as she felt the mana drain from her once again to go to the cannon. Could this be used to drain the mana of these forces? How exactly was it only getting g it from them? They may have started focusing their mana to it, perhaps that was the art of it. Could a shift in the mechanics or magic principle be used to drain the magical force in an area? From a people? Hmmmm. Curious. Curious and concerning.

Tea and biscuits did sound good though... "more fighting less talking of food", Jikan called to Esperia right before an ax hand came from behind. Dropping to the side of Jikan's head to crack her helmet a bit. A action that caused Jikan to hop back, closing in closer to where Esperia, Kaito, and Yuueri were, as she felt her head shake from a dazed pause. The wxe wielding warrior followed, an ally wielding a spear following close behind.

A swirl from one of many portals came again, a swarm of mounted raiders coming again from the air. A lost sigh coming from Jikan at the sight and as her mind cleared. A timed action of Esperia's end and Jikans well luck chasing her body to be within the reach of the demon take over mages magic. A purple colored flare expanded, shooting out and wash over her. Not just her though! It tribbled over the enemies approaching Jikan, sucked and
shrivel up, till nothing was left of them besides a small hard prune of a shell. Those were the lucky ones though, the others became bone dry carcasses and skeletons that fell to the ground and crumbled to dust.

"Some mag8c...wait a minute. Dont jinx it woman!"- Jikan yelled as she picked up a none dead corpse and threw it to collide with a hastily sent wave of more invaders.

Yuurei would hear the other woman speak and the name Alisa would pop out of her mouth. He had a smile on his face as it would seem like she was a part of his old guild. That was good to know as it would mean another ally within the fight. The next thing he saw was a magic circle appear by the woman and soon enough after she had done her thing, he would feel the energy coursing through him. He didn’t get hurt, but he could feel what this was meant to do.

The next thing that he saw, surprised him, but the life force that was within their opponents had been drained. It would seem like her healing spell had damaged the people she considered an enemy right now. That was sneaky and something he truly enjoyed watching.

“Nice move there. I didn’t expect that to happen to them. Hell, I don’t think they thought that would happen to them.” He laughed a bit as more spells had come straight to him.

The spells wouldn’t harm the cannon this time around and sensing the danger, the Seraphim would just dodge them in the air without a problem. There were a few spells that had come to him that he wouldn’t dodge and he would use his gun to suck them up. It would seem like the people here were all unique in their own ways. He figured that Jikan would want the pardon, but it wouldn’t be something she would beg for. He understood that about her even though they only met for a second. The man who knew of her enough within his guild was Brone.

Still, he wouldn’t allow things to go unpunished here. They had come to this planet with the idea of hurting the people here and taking it for their own. He wasn’t going to forgive them for that. He would take his gun and he would shoot out a combination of the spells that his gun had sucked up. It would shoot the spells back out and they would be heading to the group that had shot them. They would all scream from the attack as it would blow up in their face and the group there would be taken out. One of those spells had been an explosion spell.

Another person would get close to Yuurei with the distraction and the defeats of his comrades. Yuurei would shake his head as his sword would find its way to the man and the serpent would take a bit out of him as he would scream and shout from the pain he felt before going unconscious. Yuurei was planning on using another weapon, but he would choose to change his gun, and then change back to Gae Bolg. He didn’t have this spear for a long time, but he had gone quite attached to it.

The Seraphim knew not to go too far from the cannon as he had given it more mana. He would see that they had become wary of him, and he would shake his head because he wasn’t going to let that stop him from attacking. If they didn’t come to him, he would have them come to him. A spider web would come out of his wrist from the hand holding Zabimaru. It was then it would latch on someone before they were pulled to him.

When they got close to him, Yuurei would thrust his spear into them and they would scream before he pulled the weapon and pushed the man away from him. His eyes scanned the area as he was looking to see where more of them would show up from.

Kaito still not wanting to waste anytime that he could be using to defend the weapon and he wondered if this was really a time that they should be speaking of food as this is a battle field I know they might be just feeling relaxed as Yuurei is here but they need to keep their guards up and have their eyes on the prize and keeping the cannon safe as they keep coming at them and he hopes the person in control of the weapon is not going to double cross them and then fire it at something else or cause the portals to spread farther and bring something bigger out of the portal and make this fight far harder than it had to be.

Kaito refocuses and he cuts into the raiders and he keeps flying around the area and he catches attacks that where coming in hot on the cannon and he keeps catching them in his portals and he uses his shield to protect and knock spells flying at himself away and he keeps trying as hard as he can and he hoped that the others will stay focused and he feels an ill wind and that sends a chill down his spine and he looked around at the newer crowds of raiders that were heading their way and he tries to figure out who it is before they get a chance at a sneak attack that is stronger than who ever ends up facing them will be expecting them to do and then Kaito sensed someone behind him and flips back in midair and blocks with the shield and he sees there is some strange half invisible creature there and Kaito flies quickly toward it and it strikes at Kaito with it's tail and Kaito is now figuring out that the thing is a demi-human chameleon and Kaito keeps blocking the attacks from them and knocks away others that had come and joined this person.

Kaito takes a quick slash severing the persons tail before they can try to hit him again and before more of the raiders can join the fight and maybe help them get an edge of trying to get Kaito out of their way so they had a bit of a better chance of reaching the weapon that is about to cut them off again from their world or to force them back into their own world which ever they were not going to just let Kaito stop them from reaching the weapon.

Hearing Jikan's fierce response Esperia couldn't help but chuckle heartily in response. "I believe you might find it easier to do that than it sounds~ After all if you throw one of them it might cause a domino effect~"

She tilted her head slightly to the side in bewilderment at Jikan's following comment about her shadowy counter-part. While she had been fortunate enough to not have faced the monstrous vampire lady in person she had heard enough tales to know of the nuisance that woman was. "Please don't compare me to that pale ass~ I'd threw her back where she came from myself if I could."

Still, as the raiders became more desperate in their assault Esperia decided to raise her hands in another casting motion, this time seemingly focusing on reinvigorating Jikan and tending to possible injuries while these attacking her were already weakening under the withering power of her drains. "That's the spirit~ Freedom banzai! Although with a bounty like yours I'm expecting 'you' to pay me for the biscuits once we're done~"

As she raised her hand toward the cannon to let the cannon devour more of her mana she couldn't help but chime cheerfully. "No need to jinx~ We got a fiery warrior lady with the temperament of a rampaging berserker" She paused for a moment, a playful wink being given at Jikan as she continued. "Earthland's most famous walking armory of relics and artifacts... Oh and did I forget to mention he knows how to use them as well?"

She finally turned toward Kaito and hummed softly. "Yarghast's successor~ Although I kinda wish she taught you how to throw them back where they came from... But maybe we best leave that to the cannon this time."

Still, getting complimented by Yuurei? Felt kinda awkwardly nice, to the point she smiled sheepishly. "I should have a few tricks up my sleeve~ But unfortunately most of them are still unrefined so best used in a more restrained environment~"

Still, seeing Kaito fighting an invisible enemy she decided perhaps it wouldn't hurt to bring out one of her surprises either. Dashing toward Kaito she narrowed her eyes. "Lemme handle that one Kaito!" She hoped Kaito would at least accept her advice, because she came swinging with what she had been holding in her hand, the object that remained invisible till now.

An upwards cut against the demi-human Chameleon staggered them, perhaps surprised she could see through their invisibility but equally worrying was the surge of mana being channeled into the blade, revealing its true form.

"EXCALI-" The sword pulsed with a surge of raw and dense, almost chokingly so blanket of mana that she raised the sword high in the air above her. "BUR MORGAN!" The sword turned a obsidian color, the mana following suit as the energy was expelled outwards in a blast of energy that was violent enough to evaporate the approaching allies of the Chameleon.

"Are you alright Kaito? I wasn't sure if you could see through their invisibility, so sorry if I stepped in needlessly~"

Well it seemed that things were going good here. Anything these forces were trying to do was being rendered completely useless. Magic blasts were sucked up by Yuueri's numerous weapons and tools. Avoided and halted before they could truly make their head way towards the base of the cannon. Nothing could be avoided from the groups companioned eye sight it seemed, the magical sensing as well gave a preventive layer to this defense! A healing bomb that threatened to drain the life and energy of any that dared to approach, and Kaito and Jikan threatened to rush forward and put down anyone who was timid to move and stay back.

As Esperia chuckled and spoke Jikan could hear the outburst of spells from Yuueri's stored effect being unleashed. A mixture of ice, wind, lightening, and earth were unleashed in a chaotic crescendo of magic before crashing forward. Piling through bodies before being set off in a fiery explosion of yellow-red flames that gave a smoke fog that shifted. The tailwind ending of this battle perhaps? Over the flashing magic lights, shocking debris, and sounds of battle. Jikan continued to fight, sliding, running, slashing, and generally acting like an agile snake slithering form foe to foe while she responded to Esperia. Picking another person up by the head as she slide pass them, whipping around to hurl them with a grunt at a pair of soldiers wielding guns on top of a Pegasus mount. "...maybe", she said this a side eye a very quick then before she jumped and continued on.

"Hmmmmmm? You have an issue with her skin? Too cold for your liking?", Jikan said in a little bit of amusement as she felt her mana get slipped away once again. Being pulled to channel up the magical power of the cannon that would hopefully get unleashed soon. It was just a note of the might she expected, although as different as their counter parts were rumored in personality, perhaps even history. Power Jikan wondered was one as well. How strong was that world as a whole?? She got it though, Jikan saw herself as herself after all, not the version of her that went by Jikan The Merciless.

Either way, such a thing would be beyond the point right now. Jikan had not gotten the chance to fight let alone meet this lady. And with how they would finally put an end to this, they never would. Jikan felt the wave of reinvigoration course through her bones once again. Her essence energized and ready to go, the minor wounds managed on her flesh healed as good as knew, and a sense of a full energy ready to attack. This mage named Esperia was quite useful...perhaps a bit eccentric too. But skilled. Oh, she wondered how strong she was. In fact, Jikan wondered how strong Kaito and Yuueri were as well. She knew of their reputation and had seen them fight before, not as close as right now but still some exposure. That was nothing in comparison in getting a face to face look though~. "Sorry, flat broke. Guess you gotta pick a few weapons and armor off of these people when its all over", Jikan said as she stepped out of the a punch before swinging out a kick to the warriors gut.

Huh....that was a though...collecting the items these invaders had on them...

Note for later. For now she held a slight look at the comment of a fiery warrior with the temperament of a rampaging berserker. Oh really of it all, she was an amazon. So much more than a berserker~. And after Jikan witnessed Esperia quick motion to try and strike out at this half invisible creature she was more than happy to show it! The extended reach of sword's magic reaching far and wide. Violet energy expelling out to wash over the enemies that move. Jikan shifted and flipped her sword in hand. Her mana flared out in a wave, a yellow light shining before it enclosed her and expanded, "Senbonzakura .... Kageyoshi", she extended her sword, dropping it as the blades and hilt broke apart into pink flower petals. A mass of sharp, glimmering pink flower petals made of mana busted forward! Flocking in several streams  ofsharp blades, up to 4 meters wide. 16 total in number that Jikan sent out in various directions.

Yuurei would feel his mana no longer being taken by the canon. He would look behind him and he would have a smirk on his face. This was good because it meant that they were going to be able to close this thing for good. He did hear the woman who healed and destroyed those in her path at the same time speak. He would have a smirk on his face as it would seem like she knew that Yuurei had many items that were rare and hard to come by.

He would see that the people here were handling things on their own. Jikan’s blade had piqued his interest, but he was fine with the Zabimaru that he had in his hand. He looked over to Esperia as he watched her cut down a foe with an invisible weapon. A weapon that the foe couldn’t see? He would have wanted to get his hand on that, but it was something he would think about in the future.

“Alright it seems like the cannon is ready to fire! It isn’t taking any more of my mana! Which means I can go all out!” He shouted as he looked over to the enemies.

“You fools will understand what it is to cross paths with someone who doesn’t take kindly to invaders!” He shouted this to them as he would change from his gun to a different weapon.

This weapon would be different than any other weapon he had owned. It was wrapped up in bandages and he would place it over his shoulder before chuckling.

“Samehada Unwrap.” He said to his sword as the bandages would start coming off it.

Yuurei would feel himself having his energy drained from the weapon releasing its true form. It didn’t bother him as he was going to make sure to get it all back. The Seraphim would bring out his true transformation as his whole entire being would change. He would look like an angel cladded in armor, and every spot around him was covered in feathers.

His wings were long and beautiful. His arms shone bright with light energy as well. His eyes were red this time as he would step forward as he was no longer using his cape to fly. The people in front of him were scared to see this holy being in front of them. It would seem like this was the first time they had seen this and didn’t know what to make out of it. The Seraphim would move forward and toward the group as he would cut them down with Samehada in his hand. The sword drained the mana that they had due to the damage that it had done.

While he was doing this, he would extend Zabimaru around to get any enemy that had tried to flee from battle. The mana he had given up would become replenished from the foes that he had taken down. He didn’t hold back and he didn’t have to stay back either.

“Next time you need help with your world, ask for it!” He shouted out loud as he wasn’t happy with the reason behind their appearance in Earthland.

"You can fire it whenever!" He shouted ready to avoid it at any given time.

Kaito heard someone talk to him, he had no idea who it was as there was no point in worrying about who it was as he hadn't known them or what even they had meant with that sideways comment toward him that they had made toward him who was clearly fighting them so he could clearly see them. Kaito just sighed as he went back to defending the cannon as from the sound of it the cannon was rearing up to fire which means that it had hit the amount of mana that it had needed to be fired into the rift. Kaito keeps firing his spells off into the attacking forces as the cannon still needed to fire and there wasn't a second to waste as it seemed that this chapter of the story was about to end a new one should begin maybe. Kaito just hoped that this cannon will really work and not just cause a bigger problem for them later down the line that they will need to repair once again to keep earthland from collapsing in on itself.
