Overall: Tōga exudes a youthful energy in his tall, muscular yet agile physique. His features are boyish and cheerful, often graced with a bright smile that seems plastered across his face. Though fit, his frame is not too bulky, allowing his navy garb to drape smoothly over his form. His tan skin glows with health, complementing his general happy demeanor. Tōga keeps himself well-groomed and tidy. His standard attire consists of dark button-up shirts and pants that flawlessly fit his athletic build. Underneath, he frequently dons a bright red hoodie - a trademark accessory that peeks through or gets cast aside as weather permits. Overall, Tōga's youthful vigor radiates through his strong physique, cheerful disposition, and casual, well-put-together style.

Extra: Beneath both of Tōga's eyes are distinctive creases that resemble extra eyelids. These slender marks are his abnormal birthmark, extending from lower lid to cheekbone in smooth, sealed lines. Their elongated shape and placement could be mistaken for wrinkles at first glance. However, their symmetry and lack of sagging skin reveals their nature as a mark of Tōga's uncommon genetics rather than age

Personality

Personality: At first glance, Tōga appears the very picture of a carefree spirit. His default sunny disposition radiates infectious optimism and childlike wonder. He faces each day with a wide grin, as if life is just a game for his amusement. Tōga seems to float through dangers unfazed, never letting anything disturb his cheerful façade.

However, behind this sunny exterior dwells a shrewd and discerning observer of human nature. Tōga's smiling nonchalance conceals watchful eyes that miss nothing. He inspects each person and situation, peering beneath superficial appearances to discern deeper motives and truths. But even as he analyzes all around him, Tōga reveals little of his own interior world.

While open and charming on the surface, Tōga remains tightly guarded about his deeper thoughts and feelings. He is a master at hearing what others wish to say, while keeping his own cards close to his chest. Tōga will play the fool if it suits his purposes, feigning ignorance to conceal his mental machinations.

Though he maintains an affable air, Tōga harbors no real attachments. He is fundamentally indifferent to those around him, caring little for others beyond whatever usefulness they may provide. His smiling warmth never quite reaches his eyes, which remain coolly assessing.

Yet Tōga's detachment does not make him heartless. He takes a thorough, almost scholarly interest in all aspects of life. Tōga maintains his outward zeal for living while nurturing a spirit of deep intellectual curiosity within. He explores every experience and interaction like a scientist studying interesting specimens.

Tōga's keen perceptions remain obscured behind his disarming grins, convivial words, and relaxed air. He glides through life with smiles and good cheer, all while taking the true measure of those around him. Tōga's breezy charm conceals a shrewd spirit ever poised to turn situations to his advantage.

Likes:
  • As a self-proclaimed epicurean, Tōga relishes the pursuit of culinary delights. Though he maintains a casual air, he scrutinizes every morsel with discerning taste. Tōga samples local fare wherever he travels, searching for new flavors to satiate his palate. He may feign nonchalance, but secretly catalogs stand-out dishes, ingredients, and preparation techniques to expand his gastronomic knowledge.

  • Tōga hungers too for unraveling the mysteries of magic across the world. He ventures intrepidly into obscure regions and ancient ruins, chasing rumors of arcane secrets. Tōga's eyes gleam with scholarly fervor when deciphering crumbling runes, eager to unearth magical knowledge lost to time. Each new spell or artifact he acquires becomes another prize specimen for his growing collection.

  • Though outwardly relaxed, Tōga thrives on danger and the thrill of combat. He charges enthusiastically into perilous territory lured by tales of magnificent treasures and rewards. Tōga smiles blithely amidst vicious monsters and lethal traps, his guarded mind calculating risks versus rewards. He relishes testing his abilities against progressively more formidable foes, quietly determined to claim the greatest prizes from the most hazardous domains. For Tōga, might and magic make life an exciting adventure.

Dislikes:
  • Tōga harbors an impatience for uninspired minds. Though he conceals it behind smiles, he finds a lack of imagination grating. Tōga scrutinizes those who plod dully through life, disdainful of their limited perspectives. He relishes rattling monotonous people with cryptic remarks and feigned ignorance, amused at confounding the simpleton folk. Tōga hungers for novelty and mysteries; the uncurious bore him.

  • Few things irk Tōga more than untapped potential, especially squandered talent and magic. It prickles his pride to know precious artifacts and knowledge lie mothballed, rather than employed toward splendor and power. Tōga masks his avarice and ambition behind nonchalance, but secretly scours the land pursuing rumors of hidden troves and forgotten lore. He schemes patiently to drain every last drop from each opportunity, determined to never leave resources languishing. Where others waste, Tōga craves to conquer and claim.

  • Though a lover of fine cuisine, Tōga has little patience for unpleasant flavors. He smiles blithely through meals but catalogs each cloying bitterness or fetid tang. Tōga prides his refined palate, and sours at anything that assaults his epicurean sensibilities. He’ll swallow questionable concoctions if socially required, but makes careful note of repellant recipes and inferior ingredients. Tōga’s outward zeal for food appreciation never extends to the grotesque; his tastes run toward decadence, not disgust.

Motivations:
  • Tōga moves through life with a collector's obsession for experiencing all it has to offer. Though his demeanor seems easygoing, he is driven to sample every pleasure and seize each advantage. Tōga believes the world holds secrets and treasures beyond most people's imaginations, and he hungers to unwrap them all. His smiling nonchalance conceals relentless opportunism and a desire to extract every drop of intrigue from existence. Where others see only mundanity, Tōga perceives endless possibilities to uncover and claim.

  • While appearing the model of a carefree spirit, Tōga yearns for true freedom - the independence to pursue his varied whims without interference. He chafes at restraints, external or self-imposed, that hinder his ambitions. Tōga masterfully hides his own desires behind agreeable words, the better to maneuver through social expectations. But inside, he bridles at the thought of his potential being fenced by petty conventions or the small visions of lesser men. Given liberty, Tōga would follow his keen instincts and scholarly curiosity to their furthest boundaries and beyond. He plays the pliable fool only while biding his time to seize true emancipation on his own terms.

Fears:
  • Tōga deeply fears any loss of personal autonomy that would hinder his freedom. Though he conceals it behind an easygoing air, Tōga bristles at restrictions like a caged animal longing to roam. The thought of kneeling to another's will fills him with quiet indignation. He wears his carefree mask only as needed while silently mapping out his liberation. Tōga dreads a return to the powerlessness of his youth, when he had no choice but to hide his keen perceptions and bend to flawed authorities. He now uses his wits and charm to carve out independence, determined never again to be fettered against his wishes.

  • While brave in the face of most perils, Tōga harbors an aversion to slimes. Something about their amorphous forms and oozing movement turns even his steely stomach. He maintains his casual façade when required to face the squirmy creatures, but flinches internally at their wiggly approach. Tōga worries he may lose his dignified composure should the squelching menaces overwhelm him. So he calculates his response carefully when combating slimes, maneuvering to dispatch them quickly while appearing nonplussed. But if cornered by a horde of the wiggly fiends, Tōga's true disgust may break through his smiling disguise. Their squishy nature simply unnerves his otherwise unflappable spirit.

Magic Description: Dragon Slayers are a unique type of people who utilize a form of Lost Magic, Dragon Slayer Magic. In addition, they also have the ability to consume the element which they utilize, just as long as it is not created from their own Magic. Dragon Slayers are known to possess keener senses than those of normal humans such as smell, as well as distinctive characteristics and features such as slitted pupils and noticeably sharper teeth.

History

History: The first wisps of summer ushered in Tōga's arrival to the world. He was born on a warm, pleasant day that graced the land of Joya with azure skies. His earliest days were filled with comfort in a modest but loving home. Tōga's mother was a gentle, comely woman who cradled her babe with devotion. His father was a stalwart mage-swordsman, who tempered affection with instilling strength and honor. Though simple folk, they were a happy family - until tragedy struck two falls later.

A savage attack against their home left it aflame, the walls collapsing amidst the screams of Tōga's parents as they met their bloody end. The trembling boy was spared, but his innocence was forever shattered. He was now alone, his lineage severed and future uncertain. But salvation came in the form of a kindly couple who took in the orphaned child, raising him in their humble dwelling far removed from the violence of that night.

Though lacking in magic, Tōga's new parents nurtured him dutifully, filling the gap left by his slain mother and father. They ingrained in him the virtues of their Joyan homeland. As Tōga came of age, his talent with magic blossomed, amazing his adoptive parents. On his 16th birthday, they revealed to him the tragic events of his early childhood. To their surprise, Tōga absorbed the tale with stoic detachment, as one unaffected by the ghosts of his past.

Yet after learning the truth, Tōga's ambitions stirred stronger than ever before. He ventured forth, driven by twin desires - to soak up all the wonders the wide world could offer, and to gain the strength to seize them. Tōga joined the Rune Knights, finding camaraderie with three compatriots as they embarked on quests to test their mettle and expand their horizons. But Tōga's smile concealed a deeper purpose - to never again be left vulnerable and powerless as he was on that horrific night. He would climb to the top by his own hands, no matter what it took.
