Details


Description: A blade and its sheath that also double as a musical instrument. The blade seems to have potent magical properties that seem to complement the class of Spellsinger tremendously. Beware, the blade hums a dangerous tune for those who are not its master. Sweet dreams or nightmares, your fate is their choice.

Measurements: The blade is roughly .75 meters long with an added 20cm hilt. The sheath is an even 1 meter long.

Effects


  • Singing Blade: Each time that you deal damage with this blade, you will generate a self-buff to speed and strength equal to one rank below your own, lasting for two posts. If you strike the target while they are afflicted, it will refresh the duration of the debuff.

    Cooldown: 5 Posts
    Duration: Sustained
    Effect: Your hilt will begin to hum a drowsing lullaby. Those within the range of the blade, besides the owner, will become quite drowsy and suffer an A-rank debuff towards their speed and strength. Those under the conditions of lullaby will be susceptible to the blade’s other abilities.

  • Name: Sweetdream Syphmony
    Rank: A
    Mana Cost: 200
    Requirements: Lulla-blade + Lullaby
    Type: Other-buff
    Element: Arcane
    Range: Physical
    Cooldown: 4 Posts
    Duration: Sustain
    Effect: By tapping your hilt on a target, they will have lullaby’s effect reversed on them and instead cause the de-buff to act as a buff. Once this ability is used on a person targeted by Lullaby, this will need to be sustained for the effect to persist.

  • Name: Nightmare Cut
    Rank: A
    Mana Cost: 200
    Requirements: Lulla-blade + Lullaby
    Type: Offensive
    Element: Arcane
    Range: 20 Meters
    Cooldown: 4 Posts
    Duration: Instant
    Effect: You will slash out a dark menacing aura, quite opposed to the sword’s playful look. The slash will be crescent-shaped and 5 meters wide. It will travel towards the target in a straight line. Upon impact, it will deal A-rank damage. If they are under the effects of Lullaby, the slash will cause them to suffer intense psychological harm, nullifying one self-buff spell and putting it on cooldown.
