Karina was pushing herself to be better and stronger than she was needing to keep being better and doing better. She needed jewels to get more equipment and experience so she could better handle herself and not have to always relay on a team mate that might not be there for her if she needed them as she wanted to be able to also stand by herself so she can be safe if she is cut off or needs to save someone she doesn't have to wait for other people but that was going to take time and she was not sure if she would be able to get there as a ranged fighter alone but she will do her best as she headed to the harbor to board a boat so she can go and fight pirates and help get back the goods that were taken from them out there.

The captain looked at her and it seemed like she was being judged on how she looks and her gear. Her companion looked at the captain who looked scared by the creature and Karina petted Sunshard's head and then gets to her spot and pulls out a spy glass and looks around to see what she can see out on the water and she can see a ship off in the distance and Karina gets her gun and she was looking at the captain as and the captain seemed to snap back to reality and got the ship moving faster and the captain went the way that the woman was pointing and Karina got to the side of the boat and looked at the waters and wondered if there were any big sea creatures that the pirates might have with them as she had heard some were training them to fight.

Sunshard showed a smile that was a bit creepy when it sensed the danger coming and moved around and looked as it smelled the chaos that was coming as the pirate ship came into view and it was looking empty and the captain of the ship looked around before the shop was rammed from the side and they were being ambushed by a fake ship being the bait and that was something that she was not expecting. Raina got to her feet and swiftly moved toward where the men were jumping onto the ship and she started firing her gun. She was not going to back down even if she is out numbed. Sunshard was tripping them with a rope as they came on board the creature seemed to be smarter. Karina got on top of them to knock them out. She told the crew to restrain the pirates and make sure they don't get away.

She jumped onto the pirates ship and ran across the deck and sliding and firing to keep the pirates off of her and she doesn't wait and springs back to her feet and firing at them as they came at her and she finds the captain and she goes right at her and she punched the captain in the gut and then kneed them in the face to knocked them out. She restrains the captain and looked away from them for a second and the captain is dragged away by her companion over to the ship to be kept with the others and Karina gets all the goods and started hurrying loading and unloading the ship to make sure they have it all and then she returned to the skip and they set sail back for the harbor to turn over the pirates and return the goods to where they belong and then she gets paid for her time and efforts.
